Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 115 reviews, most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the customer service, finding staff to be rude, unhelpful, and often unwilling to assist with issues like gift card problems or car wash malfunctions. Reviewers also frequently mentioned that products were overpriced, with some feeling exploited due to the high costs of fuel and other items. Though some customers reported positive interactions with staff, describing them as friendly, polite, and helpful, a significant number of people were dissatisfied with the general service, including long queues, issues with self-service options, and poorly maintained facilities like dirty toilets. Some people also felt that the company's policies, such as fining customers for staying over 30 minutes even when queuing for services, were unfair.

So I have a BP Business Solution Rewards Card

So I have a BP Business Solutions Master Card Rewards Card that pays .10 back on every gallon of gas at BP and Amoco stations. Well at this station at 7050 SE State Road 26 in Trenton, Fl. it not only hasn't discounted the gas .10/gal, it is charging me .10/gal OVER the pump price now. I've been in the store a total of four times to complain with an excuse given each time, and a promise to correct the matter with corporate to NO avail. I have a business with three vehicles running every week, so I've instructed them NOT to stop at this station ever again!!!

BP Garage, Breakspear Way, Hemel Hempstead

BP Garage - Breakspear Way, Hemel Hempstead.
I'll never use a BP garage again!

I received a letter from their solicitor saying I'd driven off without paying. It turned out the person on the till didn't add the fuel and only charged me for a small item which I hadn't realised - honest mistake, these things happen.
The letter said I could go back to the garage and pay, which I very promptly did, and the manager assured me that it was all sorted.
I then received a second solicitor's letter again stating that it hadn't been paid and increasing the fee.
When I went back to complain, the manager basically told me it was my problem and that I have to sort it out with the solicitor.
I dread to think how much time I'm now going to have to waste sorting this out, just because their staff member blundered a simple till transaction.

Given a 1* as 0* impossible

Given a 1* as 0* impossible. Went and used my BPme Rewards card yesterday when filling up after my return from 2.5 years overseas. Points went through (or so it seemed). Went to check my account today only to find the card was not recognised. Called the helpline number to be advised that the card had expired due to inactivity. I 'advised' back that no one advised me of that. Lol. So now I have no points and no loyalty to BP. BP = Blooming Pathetic. Sort it out. I'm going back to Shell

BP gas station at 2450 State Road 16

I went to the BP gas station at 2450 State Road 16 in St Augustine, I never been there so I made a quick stop, I grabbed a beer and went to the register, I notice was kind of pricey, but I picked without checking the price 1st(so I blame myself), went I was home I check the ticket and the girl at the register charged me extra $, unfortunately I didn't checked it at the store and I was not going to go back for $6.00, so I called the gas station this morning and off course nobody answer the phone.

BP Hammersmith: Where Disdain Comes Standard

Looking for a garage that fines you for staying over 30 minutes even though getting your car washed takes that long? Enjoy being spoken to rudely by unhappy staff? Or maybe you're after a toilet so filthy, you’ll feel like you need to stand in the car wash yourself after you’ve used it? Then look no further - BP Garage Hammersmith is the place for you.

For a company that talks a lot about ethical practices, why do they treat their customers with such disdain?

Fraudulent claims!

I receive a letter advising me that I owed money for obtaining fuel and ‘not paying for it!’
I did in fact pay for the fuel because the transaction is shown in my BP Rewards transaction history and I paid with the points I had accumulated and the rest in cash so I’m assuming either the cashier has stolen the money and fraudulently claimed I didn’t make payment or there has been a problem with their tills, just like they were ‘having problems’ with their card machines and the transactions weren’t going through 2 years ago when I then paid in cash and the card transaction came out too, and BP have sent a recovery company after me to make threats of increasing costs and court without actually looking at cctv footage which would prove I went into the shop and made payment. Instead they think it’s acceptable to send out these disgusting letters with just a photo of someone putting fuel in their car. Obviously I will not be paying again and will gladly go to court to prove their fraudulent lies.

Insults Galore!!!

Insults Galore!!!
Stopped at the BP last Friday week around 3pm, was greeted by an old English woman at the counter who immediately commented on my Hair!
She made some insulting remark about how spiky it was,
"Oh, look at your Hair, it's right up there and then chuckled to herself like insulting a random customer is a talent.
She then made some lame comment about what comes out of her mouth. Now if this wasn't enough she then proceeded to tell me that I reminded her of the Gay guy in the TV show travel guides.
I thought in this world we lived in now people didn't have to put up with personal insults especially when buying a service from sales staff!
What if I was transgender, fat, black, old, physically disabled, mentally challenged would this unbelievably rude silly old 'Pommy" cow have insulted me as well?
For the record I am straight and I had been performing shows at the local schools for CBW book week not that I should have to explain anything!
Steer clear of BP Muswellbrook if you are anyway diverse or unique because you will be insulted and profiled by staff that should not be dealing with the public.
I have a thick skin but this cashier horror should go!

Think twice switching to BP

I have experience traveling and using gas stations. I don't understand why a world-class company like BP has such disgusting and disastrous service quality at gas stations in Minnesota and Wisconsin. The bathrooms are dirtier than a dairy farm. The employees are rude and ill-mannered. They dress in a disgusting and dirty manner. I switched to BP thinking it was something more British, but I was wrong. It seems the whole of the UK is in ruins.

I only use Vpower 99 octane shell…

I only use Vpower 99 octane shell petrol. So to do so I always pass many petrol stations to go to the Shell at North Orbital Road Denham. This is the 5th time today I found Customer toilets locked with Out Of Order sign. I have spoken to the cashier on a previous occasion but the issue has not been escalated. This is awful and feels like being in 3rd world country. The profits Shell make, surely they can spend a few pounds to get the problem sorted🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️. The cashier had a look like she didn't want to be there. No greetings, straight face and as soon I paid she was looking out of the window. I had to request the receipt. Pathetic. If Shell continue to provide this 3rd class service, they would soon discover that the customers have many alternatives. Time to switch to their competitors i reckon.

Dear sirs bad experience

Dear sirs
Today I had the great misfortune to stop at the Heart of Scotland services at Harthill , on the M8 motorway .
It was 12:00 midday when I used ……or rather couldn’t use the male toilet facilities.
Of the two cubicles there ,one had no lock and the toilet seat was covered in urine and the other had no toilet paper and also had a urine covered toilet seat .
I declined both offers and went to the “Wild Bean” cafe to console my wife and I.
What a dispiriting experience!!!
A depressive spot reinforced with black chipped painted ‘furniture’ !!
What any passing tourists must think when they pull in for a break I shudder to think.
The only toilet as bad that I have ever experienced, was way way out in Western Australia where a similarly awful ,appalling facility in a roadhouse had an ironic handwritten sign asking the customers to respect the facility as it took money to maintain it!!!
At least they had a sense of humour !!!

Was fined £100 for being in their site…

Was fined £100 for being in their site 42 minutes. I stopped to sit in and have a Miss Millies, and didn't realise there was a 30 minute time limit. I'm still fuming a year after it happened. I feel like they have stolen from me. I could go on and say what I think about them and their disgusting policies but, I don't want to risk them suing me as well. Why aren't Watchdog style tv shows exposing them for doing this?
