I purchased an expensive product from Boots online because I trusted their company's reputation.
Unfortunately, the item arrived damaged from shipping. No worries, this happens.
So I returned the item. After significant delays to any follow up Boots refuses to honour the return. They require the return mail receipt, which, after the extended delay from their side, I no longer have.
They agree that I bought the item from them. They agree I returned the item. But they won't return the £350 because I don't have the return mail tracking number.
After over a month working with Boots to process the return they have rejected my return. I can't help but feel that their delayed processing is in hope that people will misplaced the tracking number, as I did. My next steps are with Citizen's Advice, and I'll update the review if anything changes.

Service quite good but I needed to scan my product to ensure it was the right one but the cashier upstairs said it cannot be done by the shop assistants.
I do not have a scanner of my own so had to take the chance that the shaver head was the correct replacement for my Braun shaver.

Delivery took forever then it arrived and everything was open. One bottle is scratched up and looks off, ordered multiple times and it doesn't look like other orders. Colour is definitely darker than other liquids and smells like some sort of alcohol is mixed in. Would recommend against buying from boots online. In store purchases are fine.
Customer service online is terrible and response timelines are all ridiculously long. Just sent me some generic email and didn't read mine. Had CCTV footage of the delivery guy leaving with the package but royal mail needs the seller to contact them. Could have you waiting a month to hear why something didn't arrive
