I was slightly hesitant using Bookimed to find a clinic for facial feminization surgery. However, I am satisfied with Bookimes and the online medical coordinator Winnington helping with my endeavor. Winnington was very helpful the whole time. The clinic staff at SAERO in South Korea where very nice and accommodating. Joanne very patient and always helpful with interpretation and helped with calling a taxi and myself purchasing some waterproof bandages. Winnington with Bookimed was able to answer my questions which I am very thankful for. All of the procedures went well. I stayed at the clinic the first I think it was 2 nights. I had a forehead and brow bone reduction, lower blephoplasty, rhinoplasty, jaw, chin contouring with increased projection of the chin, and fat grafting from thighs to face. A facelift was recommended and part of the procedure plan، but I wanted the jaw reduction. That along with the chin amd expected swelling had the Doctor, Dr. Park, suggest doing the facelift 6 months later. He was willing to do the facelift together but I went with his suggestion to wait. I am a little concerned with the comparison of my nostril openings, but the nose does look diference and I like it overall and it is still healing. I'm not sure I want to post any pictures. But the only are that I think other people might be a little upset with is the nares and nostrils looking slightly different. My nose already was asymmetrical with a deviated septum. I had a good experience with Bookimed and SAERO plastic surgery.

Bookimed helped me to find a clinic in Turkey and supported me with communication with them.

I arrived on Monday night.I was put through lots of tests next day spoke to anesthetic lady she was brilliant gave me best advice that I would be high risk for surgery which I am so thankful didn't want to risk my life. Really careful patients come first a massive thank you to all at brunnni hospital Istanbul. So grateful the interpreter was so helpful went out of his way to help me talked give me his time grateful to all.

I liked the fact that I received clear answers. The Bookimed assistant I spoke with was very understanding, helpful and patient with me.

We contacted Bookimed for a clear treatment offer regarding multiple tumor marker tests. I repeatedly asked which parameters would be tested, and they confirmed it several times. We finally received an official offer for USD 105.

When we arrived at the hospital, it turned into a complete disaster:

The hospital did not even know who we were, although Bookimed had asked us in advance to provide diagnosis reports, passport, and flight tickets.

We were sent from one department to another (three in total), until it became clear: the hospital had no clue about us or the offer.

Instead of USD 105, the hospital demanded five times the price (USD 550) for exactly the same tumor marker tests. In Germany these tests cost about half of that.

On top of this, we paid 100 € for a taxi to the hospital – all for nothing. During the entire time in hispital, Bookimed was not reachable and only later clarified with whom at the hospital they were supposedly in contact. This person does not exist in the hospital!!!!

This is nothing but a scam and deception. Bookimed created a false offer, misled us, and left us behind with unnecessary costs and stress in an already extremely difficult medical situation. They refuse to take responsibility, hiding behind excuses instead of fixing the damage.

Do not trust this company. They are incompetent fraudsters making money on the back of seriously ill patients.

The only star is for the very nice lady Eda at the hospital, who translated for us.

Dr. Murat and his team were great! The hospital staff was very kind and helpful. Procedures were quick and relatively painless. For the price, I couldn’t ask for a better experience.

Really pleased with this service.
Responses to my questions were quick and reassuring.
Even gave me a follow up email to ask how I was getting on.

Bookimed made it all so simple, selecting the best hospital in Bangkok for my care. Everything has worked out really well and they dealt quickly with all my queries. The hospital has been great both pre and post op.

I was fortunate enough to find Bookimed whilst I was planning a trip to Turkey for extensive dental treatment.
I had spent countless hours/days/weeks and months trying to research as many dental clinics in Turkey as I possibly could, and also trying to read as many verified reviews for each clinic too.
So during this endless searching I came across Bookimed and decided to give them a try.
I was given a Medical Coordinator, Dr.Kora who constantly answered all of my questions, and was always happy to help me regarding any concerns I had.
I was provided with quotes from many clinics based in different parts of Turkey, which matched my specific requirements.
I eventually chose WestDent clinic in Izmir, Turkey. I had already done some research on that clinic before recieving a quote from them. All the reviews on Trustpilot seemed very positive and highlighted the welcoming atmosphere and the feeling of being put at ease by the amazing staff.
I have just returned from my first trip to WestDent, where I had all of my teeth extracted. I had always hated my teeth as they were very overcrowded, buckled upper front teeth and a couple of broken ones too.
I originally planned on having all on four implants, but after the 3D Scan it became apparent that I would need six implants in each jaw. I always felt like that was a possibility, even before having the scan done.
I asked the dental team through the translator for some time to consider my options, as obviously this also affected the price of the treatment. They were very understanding, so I went and had a chat with a few of the other patients and the translator also. That really helped me come to a decision.
I was given the choice of 12 Zirconia, or Titanium implants. I went for the Zirconia implants as they were always my preferred option.
So after making the payment, I had all of my teeth removed and 12 Zirconia implants installed, six in each jaw.
It took approximately three and a half hours. The Dental surgeon actually told the translator to tell me that I handled it like a Champ 😂🏆💪🏻
I'm now back at home... Toothless, like the dragon in How To Train Your Dragon!😂
My gums need to heal properly before I can get my Zirconia teeth installed. My gums will take a while to heal, after full extractions, drilling into my jaws, and implants placed and gums stitched up.
But I feel happy, I'm looking forward to returning to WestDent in January to finish the process and come back with perfect teeth... and no I won't be going for Hollywood White, I want them to look natural! 😅
I need to book leave from work for January, arrange flights, travel insurance (with Medical Travel Shield).
But I will definitely use Bookimed again for the return trip to Turkey. They really do help make the whole process seamless, and completely remove the stress of trying to organise the logistics yourself.
I would definitely highly recommend Bookimed to anyone considering any kind of elective Medical procedures abroad. I can't speak of them highly enough! Also, massive thanks to my Medical Coordinator, Dr.Kora 🙏🏻
