I only place small orders, but they are dealt with efficiently and speedily.

Bought A2 stainless screws on ebay, they were not great but OK.
Then bought more. They were awful, soft as cheese and malformed heads. Ebay message copied below:

Hi,
These screws are very poor quality.
I bought some 25mm last week which were OK.
These 30mm have incompletely formed Pozi heads, meaning the bit won't sit in properly, just the tip. Four of them had proper heads, like the 25mm, but even they were spinning the heads out. They are also very magnetic, which A2 should not be.
Please see photos attached.
Can you please replace them with better quality?
I'm struggling just with extracting some of them with mole grips.

I have ordered twice from bolt base in January. The first order arrived promptly , the second hasn’t. I got a response from bolt base saying my order was delivered on 12th January. I’ve twice emailed them pointing out the second order was ordered on 22nd January, but he doesn’t even reply. It’s only small value so will not be taking this further, but will use another supplier from now

Issue resolved, was a problem with the email system which is now fixed

Ordered a few times, thought their products where decent and they shipped according to their site until. One of the SS grub screws I ordered didn't have a key cut in it. Essentially making it a stud. Thinking not a big deal. I need a few more things so I ordered what I needed and sent them a video and message using their Website whatsapp. A few days later my order arrived and no replacement grub screw. I couldn't have made it easier by ordering a few more bits and giving them a way to send a replacement. I then emailed them and still no reply. Seems they can take orders ok but not respond if you get something faulty. Such a shame as I was going to promote their products as a local UK company to get these items from and use them for all my upcoming projects. Any company can ship an item, good companies provide after care and respond.

My initial purchase through this seller’s eBay store was smooth—I ordered 10 screws and 10 nuts in January. However, the return process has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time.

Due to a mistake in how I initiated the return, only one item was refunded. eBay assured me that the seller could easily resolve the issue, so I reached out directly. Unfortunately, this is where the problems began.

Despite calling multiple times and being promised return calls, I never received one. I was eventually informed that only the manager, Ann Marie, had the authority to process refunds—but she was never available on subsequent calls.

After persistent follow-up, I was given an email address. I finally received a response to my email, which neither acknowledged the inconvenience nor provided a refund. My follow-up questions have since gone unanswered.

To the Manager, Ann Marie:

I sincerely hope you take the following suggestions to heart, especially in an era where accountability in customer service is more important than ever:

1. Hire a professional customer service representative to answer calls promptly and handle customer concerns effectively.

2. Delegate refund authority to a customer service or finance team member in your absence. This would go a long way in improving your service and customer satisfaction.

Needed a particular size countersunk machine screw in stainless steel for an outdoor electrical unit. Exactly what I wanted in stock, reasonable shipping cost and prompt delivery.

Have used Boltbase for a few years now and the service is second to none. Ordering online is simple and the parts arrive quickly and clearly marked. I use the parts predominantly for classic car and classic motorcycle restoration on a DIY basis and have found that even the smallest orders get the same attention and priority. Highly recommended. I completed my project and the stainless steel screws have made it easy and the job is looking good.
It is also good to know that screws won't rust.

Had the product I wanted and a quick delivery.

I have bought assorted nuts, bolts screws from them several times when I need to top up. Though where I use so many I don't know. I am a DIY user and buy stainless steel hex type as I think they are easier to fit with an electric screwdriver. Service from Boltbase has always been great.

The ordering process was straight forward.
For 1 item the full number of screws I ordered were not available. I had a phone call offering alternatives but I needed the specific length. The rest of the order was sent and the additional screws that had been on back order followed a few days later. In my view it is how a company deals with challenges that counts and Bolt Base nailed it!

The choice was great, I got exactly what I needed.

Good quality set screws and nylon nuts at good price

Wanted some M5 bolts together with the nuts 🔩 and found this company online.
Great service from start to finish.

There was a great range of screws to choose from and quantity wasn’t an issue. I wasn’t sure of size I needed so ordered 6 screws @4 different sizes. Website was clear and easy to use. Delivery was quick.

Good for price and availability, also able to buy smaller quantities as required. Have used on several occasions and will use again.
