Unfortunately they decided to discriminate non Swedish users by having BankID as the only way of verifying your account. By this it basically excluded everyone who is not a Swedish citizen.

I tried to contact their service team to find an alternative verification method (e.g. Id card, passport, …) but they did not care and said they are not willing to accept non Swedish citizens as verified users.

Terrible marketplace, not recommended (just check the evaluations here on Trustpilot) !!!!
For my first purchase (two different products and sellers), I bought, paid, and never received the products I purchased.
But the worst part is that I wasted my time with Blocket. If I had purchased through another marketplace, I would have already received the products I wanted.
To make matters worse, Blocket doesn't do anything to address these bad sellers; it only protects them; good buyers are neither protected nor valued.
For example, you as a buyer can't cancel a purchase, but a bad seller can cancel the sale and simply not deliver the product, and nothing will happen.
Blocket may be good for sellers, but it's not recommended for buyers!

I logged in to the Blocket.se website and found a product I wanted to buy, but when I clicked on Send Message an error message was displayed with “Try again or contact support”. I tried Send Message for other sellers with the same result. Support told me to use a different web browser which I did – same problem. I tried using the Blocket app but the problem remained. Have tried using both my iPhone and iPad, same problem. Support has said they are working on it but now it’s over a week. Vend own Blocket and it is Vend’s software that is the problem. Their sellers are on a market place that does not work – this should not be legal!

Without warning they deleted all my posts for nothing?

Blocket was good in the past.
Now it is just trash.
Customer service is trash.
They are not any helpful for buisneses selling stuff.
And selling things are very expensive.

The company blocks everyone not living in Sweden (EU??)

This must be one of the most ridiculously outdated service and app out there.
It's like the early days of the internet.
Here is the "ridiculous" list:
- you can upload only 6 photos, you can't even get more even if you are willing to pay, no such option available.
- the uploading process is slow and if you switch to other task on other app, the progress (or lack of it) is lost
- the errors occur during uploading your pictures
- no basic editing tools are available, can't even crop or rotate the photo, so you better do some editing before
- the category you should place your ad under is a random guess, no suggestions from the app. But if you place it under wrong category, the ad gets rejected with no guidance what you should do better next time
- if you manage to successfully post an ad it will be there for a while ( a month if I remember correctly), then you get notification that time is up and you ad is removed. You can't repost it again, there is no template from the old one. You need to start all over again, so make sure you have old pictures still on your phone. lol.
- if you saved some ads for later by marking them with the heart, removing them one by one will result with error
- the bids, price proposals are not binding so forget you can find any good deal. Even if you pressed "buy now"and pay immediately, the seller can simply reject the transaction later and send the payment back if he gets better price via private message. Ridiculous!
You can't even leave the review if that happens!
- there is no push to secure the transactions via site, so it happens that seller brags about shipping or money arriving so long and tries to get the deal done in other form of payment. If you don't agree to pay differently, he can just abort the transaction. Don't try to bring this issue up to the customer service, you will be proven wrong.
- speaking about customer service... it's almost non existing. No phone number, you can email them and wait several days hoping they will respond, so if you have issue that requires quick action... forget about it!
- search option by the location doesn't include radius, so you can only pick up province, or city. That's such a basic feature, its 2024... come on...
- the site doesn't seem to be moderated, you can easily post ads with stolen property and there is no way for other users to mark suspicious ads immediately for quick revision.

These are the issues just from the top of my head.
Fortunately there are other places to trade in more civilized way.
Blocket is nearly dead. It deserves it, people maintaining it or developing ("under developing") are clearly doing nothing. They are stuck in the early years of internet.
You guys need serious change to be relevant again. Otherwise it's a relict from the past.
PS. Automatic translation is not an option in 2024, it's a standard.

these people are engaged in the fact that they trick people into investing money in supposedly increasing the ratings of various things and receive commissions for this. But they increase the deposit to the point that a person no longer has the means to pay this deposit and thus all their profits burn out and people remain. I lost 1350 euros of my money, but they wanted me to invest another 1250 and then they can return my money, but I no longer believed them

The customer service it completely useless. I have asked some help regarding how to package and send an item, and the answer I got was basically "you have to figure that out on your own". Well...

I sold an item for 4,000 through Blocketpaket, clearly describing everything in the ad.

I shipped it the same day !!

But just a few hours after receiving it, the buyer claimed he mistakenly ordered the wrong model and immediately filed a reclamation.

I told him this wasn't my problem—I provided all the details and pictures, and I don't accept returns.Then, my money was put on hold.

I waited for days—19 days, to be exact! During this time, the buyer had the audacity to try and resell the item that was already on hold! And what did Blocket do about it? Absolutely nothing!I spent 19 days and sent 30 emails, wasting countless hours before they finally decided to start an investigation.

This delay was beyond ridiculous !!!???

In the end, they denied his claim, but the whole process was a nightmare.

All seems to be ok if you wish to buy something. But when you want to contact a seller you need to identify yourself, either by the Swedish identification app Bank-ID or by mobile phone.
This seems to be quite straight forward, but neigher of the 2 ways to identify yourself works for me. I do have a Bank-ID account, but as I am a non Swedish resident, the use is very limited and in this case I am not able to use this. Then the second option, entering a code which is sent by SMS to your phone. This does not work either because Blocket is only accepting Swedish mobile numbers.
So... Blocket is therefor restricting the use of it's website to Swedish residents. I am going to sent a complaint to Brussels as this is not in line with the European openess of free travel, free services, free everything. I have sent in complaints before and it to my surprise they really did take action.

I have 0 trust to Blocket. They claim they hold buyer’s money until buyer approves that that the package arrived and is as per the advertisement of the seller. In reality, when the package does not arrive at all, they actually pay full price to seller and the buyer is compensated as per package insurance. As Schenker lost the package, me as a buyer was compensated only 46% of the price whereas seller was compensated 100%. Through no fault of mine, i lost 6000,- SEK but seller was paid fully. How is this fair?! They have this in T&C but they are falsely advertising security of the purchase by claiming they only send money until the buyer approves the purchase. Never approved it, yet, my money was paid to seller whereas package never arrived. Never again.

Blocketpaket: buyer protection what a joke! If the package never arrives your on your own....I have paid for "Buyer Protection".....but no protection or help if the package is lost......

You must have BankID to publish your add.

Your platform has always been a bit behind when it comes to technical aspects like webdesign and userfriendlines. But taking away possibility to end up in gallery and weekly renewals for advertisers like us (advertising carpentry - loftbeds and interior solutions) is just such a major step backwards. It is ridiculous.
Now we have no point of advertising on your platform.
need to mention that your staff on the chatt is terribly helpless and unengaged to help.

this is SCAM, VERY HOSTILE, DANGER GLOBALIST business that want to take peoples freedom!!!
for announcing with them they force people to
use something called "bank id" to SURVEIL people
and they strictly say that no one other way is possible to announce with them ... conclusion is simple!?
