I haven't purchased anything as I didn't get a response from customer services when I queried the care instructions on a garden arch. This item is large and intended to have a climbing plant grown on it. Yet the care instructions suggest it needs to be painted annually and brought in during bad weather. Same with garden lighting. I really don't believe having repaint garden items annually or bring them in during bad weather is very practical or possible and I would suggest it's not fit for purpose if it's necessary. That's said, it's a pity as it would appear the items are well made and attractive and I would like to purchase them.

Delighted with the wall lanterns that we bought and great value for money. Amazing customer service, I had to ring several times due to issues with the courier. The service team went out of their way to deliver exceptional service. Totally delighted. Thank you x

I was delighted with the 3 items I bought recently (2 brushed bronze stags and 'Chical' spotted doe). They were just as I imagined and now stand proudly in my garden. The workmanship is outstanding. Delivery was perfect and quick and the packaging very thorough

I've recently bought one of their two seater wrought iron garden swings. I'm impressed with the quality of workmanship and the value for money - especially given the price of a good quality wooden equivalent. It was a 60kg item that was particularly securely packaged with each section well protected. The paint finish looks pretty good too, but time in the now extremes of British weather will put that to the test. ThIs was a near seamless buying experience that would have been perfect if I'd been provided with a tracking number for the delivery pallet. Whilst the pallet company did initially phone me to arrange a delivery day, there was a one day delivery delay and having the tracking number would have helped communication. It turned out that Black Country didn't have that info either, so perhaps this is something they could improve on. In spite of the tracking incident I think they still deserve 5 stars.

The helpful telephone call with Sue Ford after having difficulty with the payment system on line (she looked into that and immediately realised the problem) secured an order for a male deer. Sue was informative, friendly and the ordering experience excellent. The courier kept us informed of delivery time and was accurate with his time of arrival. The actual product is amazing, beautifully crafted, so life like, well packed and the recipient was over the moon with her birthday gift. We have no hesitation in recommending Black Country Metal Works.
