I've been receiving support from Bitpanda's customer support teams on two different occasions recently. Their team came across as being very competent and understood the nuances of my inquiries perfectly well - which gives me comfort in recommending Bitpanda to both beginners and also advanced handlers of the cryptoverse.

I am evaluating exclusively Support's work.
I haven't used Bitpanda for a long time, and when I tried to log in, they asked me for 2FA which I did not have set up. So I had to reset it through support.
What followed was a long process, in which we discovered many issues, mainly during verification (e.g. I was repeatedly told that my region is not supported, which was not true, etc).
While it was long and at time frustrating, Bitpanda's support team were always responsive, and their responses were timely and on-point, and in the long chain of emails the context was not lost.
Eventually, after about 2 weeks of back and forth (I tried -- reported issues -- they fixed -- I tried again -- discovered other issues -- they fixed again, etc) we recovered my account. Despite the difficulties, I think the work of the support team was great.

I have used bitpanda since 2016 and since then I would buy and send crypto multiple times a month,
A month or so ago because of some new regulation they asked me to verify again and the address always comes out wrong, I spoke to customer service a lot until they closed the ticket and thanked me for being loyal 😂 for the last 9 years, and by the way I know at least 87 people (our crypto group on WhatsApp) and every single one of them can’t use it anymore
I regret that there no zero star choice.

My account has suddenly had its password changed (with no email confirmation) and when I managed to sort of access the app I found ALL my data deleted, but I always keep track of stuff so over the years and up to a few weeks ago their have been many many emails between me and the company and I have them all, There is a possibility that bitpanda may or may not say this is an unverified review, so if that happens I will happily check Trust Pilot guidelines to see if I can put a link to the receipts ( because I wasn’t allowed to add photos in this review)
I’ll just have to wait and see but I think they are forgetting that there are other review websites I just chose the one I trust most there is also Reddit and many many many other ways not to mention social media so I’m just going to wait and see how things are resolved and act accordingly.
One more thing I have copied this review to google local guides which I use quite a bit and will be adding ALL the receipts soon either way but I have to obfuscate both my personal information and Bitpanda employee names and things of that nature for privacy purposes.

I didn’t and will not remove the review for what I think are two good reasons.
They had indeed fixed my issue so I thought ok well let’s try it out and send £50 worth of bitcoin to another wallet of mine, it was pending for at least 10 days and honestly I’m not sure I got it, but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt
They sent me an email on Friday saying my account has been deactivated, I had stopped using them anyway but a bad review may get your account deactivated.

Their fees are high enough to indicate it's a thoroughly compliant operation, however cash plus doesn't work (balance doesn't move in automatically and no way to manually move in). Support are very slow, I've had one unhelpful response in a week. Disappointing given the premium fees charged.

After submitting a larger set of documention than one needed for a US Visa or a mortgage, my account is still blocked and no one is there to help. All the transactions I did are legit and fully confirmed by me, yet Bitpanda is refusing to let me do what they supposed to facilitate: trade.

I opened a Bitpanda Account, successfuly registered and verified. When I did perform One of my transactions got on hold. I opened a ticket days ago and no one is taking care of it. I am still waiting for someone to connect to the chat. This is not the standard I would expect from such a platform.

They have stated that due to regulatory change they need information from me, blocked my account for nearly 3 weeks now, they have asked my previous paychecks, my P60 ( personal tax report) and all I get is its under review its been nearly 3 weeks, yesterday we had a massive crash, lost so much money and couldnt even do anything about it as my account is blocked. They keep saying its under review but its been like this for past 3 weeks. If its not going to get resolved I’d just like to pull my money away and will never use this platform ever again. They are saying my adress dont match from my P60 from 2 years ago, I have moved 2 times in the last 3 years. My account is still blocked for the past 20 days and they are just asking questions but are bot trying to resolve it at all. They have asked me for previous paychecks, P60, identification, proof of adress, bank statements, I have provided it all and still nothing.

During the recent XRP downtrend, Bitpanda completely failed to load currencies. The app just showed “We’re currently unable to load currencies” — no trading possible at all.
I actually planned to hold my XRP anyway, but this incident clearly shows how unreliable the platform becomes when markets move fast. In a real emergency or crash, this could cause serious losses.
For a platform that promotes itself as professional and secure, such instability is unacceptable. Reliability and trust are key in trading — Bitpanda is losing both.

Bitpanda worked very well for me over several months. Then it suddenly refused to transfer my bitcoin to my self-hosted wallet. Bitpanda wanted to make sure that I was not money-laundering and asked all sorts of questions, some relevant, some not so relevant. Eventually, after a great many hours on my part, Bitpanda finally authorised the transfer.
At this stage I considered moving on to use another crypto exchange. However looking through the reviews on Trustpilot, I came to understand that all the exchanges are prone to suddenly lock your funds like this. I resumed using Bitpanda, because, when not hoarding my money, it provided an excellent service – very rapid and at reasonable fees. It is easy to understand why crypto exchanges score 5 so often, and then suddenly 1. There is not much in between.
So I would score Bitcoin 5 most of the time, with good response to queries, but only 1 when it would not release my funds. As a compromise, I am scoring it 4.
The moral is to be prepared for exchange hoarding, which can fall like an axe at any time. I would suggest paying in amounts that are small relative to the total amount you want to invest. Then move your crypto into a self-hosted wallet as soon as possible. With this proviso, Bitpanda has proved to be excellent.

I have been using Bitpanda for years but since the open of their UK site it has been a nightmare.
In fact, I contacted their support because I could not use my GBP cash to trade and first I was told that the asset I was try to buying was only trading in USD, which was not true, later that the problem was that I used a Linux 'browser', which is a OS of course. I tried to use all browsers available, to no avail, and at the end I was told that BItpanda was not compatible to Linux, despite having been using it fine with their European platform for years. I was advised to use the App instead, which I did for sometime, until could not: when I try to place an order, I get a 'Buying and selling were suspended' message. They advised me to update my phone and app, which were already updated, and I also run an antivirus, to no avail. I also tried to install the app into another phone without any result. 5 days already passed and the problem has not been solved. I am migrating to another platform. It has been very stressful indeed.

I reached out to support from Reddit not expecting to hear anything back. I was pleasantly surprised to be contacted back. We moved to email for privacy and every time I asked something I got a reply that steered me back to being able to use my account again. Really refreshing to communicate with a human being. I've been using the platform for a year , and I got spyware 2 days ago . As I was resolving the issue , I had to freeze my account from my side and contacted Bitpanda immediately (Saturday like 8pm) . They were responding both Saturday evening and Sunday , and once I got my system clean , we worked out really fast on the unfreezing , using a lot of safety measures . Really nice support !
