BiP Solutions picked on the wrong Company!

Well - what can I say about this awful company? Back on 23rd May 2024 we were looking at Compete For when we were called by their Mathew Roger from their sister company BiP Solutions to suggest we look at their system instead. Which we agreed too a demo. All we wanted was a demo, 6mins after the demo call we received an invoice for a £3.5k subscription and bombarded by emails from their accounts dept for payment - We hadn't agreed to purchase anything. All purchases made by our business are subject to us issuing a PO's. We are a No PO no order/no work type of business. We advised via email 12th June 2024 that we were not proceeding and to cancel our invoice. They tried to deny that we had sent the email until Aug 2024. Long long story cut short - they started legal with us in Nov 2024 - then a debt collector called Vincent Short took over. Purely out of principle we decided to defend ourselves and let it go to court. In legal mediation via the phone in March 2025 they offered a reduced value of 50% - we offered them £50, which they declined. So it went to court on 19th Sept 2025. They didn't turn up to court siting that because such a small value and they are so far away in Scotland and they believed we were totally at fault they wouldn't be attending. In the meantime we had prepared a 126 page document of timelines and evidence and presented to the court. Ultimately, they tried to say we had logged on and they submitted a I.P address as evidence that we had logged into their system. But, the IP address was in Manchester - which by coincidence is where their sister company is based!! The case was dismissed by the judge. The TRUTH prevailed and these pirates didn't get any monies from us. Be very very careful with any contact from this business (or sister companies) - they may be a government promoted business, but they have picked on the wrong company where we are concerned.

Thank you for your review. We strive for high levels of customer satisfaction with our services and that is evident in the vast majority of reviews we receive.

You have raised a number of points which we would like to respond to since they contain factual inaccuracies that need to be addressed.

You have claimed that all you required was a demonstration of our service and yet this turned into a sale for which you were invoiced within 6 minutes of the call ending. In reality, you signed up to the service, part of the process for which is accepting our terms and conditions. The invoice was generated more than three hours later, which is not unreasonable and is in fact commonplace for online subscription services such as ours. You subsequently attended an onboarding call with our Customer Success Team three days after sign-up and then logged into the service on multiple occasions after that, including adding keywords for your searches. All of this points to the service being required, knowingly subscribed to and actively engaged with.

We refute your claim that we took control of your IT system in order to log into the service. This is not and never has been part of our established sales process or practice – and in any case, this could only be done with the associated access rights being granted by yourselves, which was not the case.

Given all of the above we were completely within our rights to pursue payment for our services. You are correct in that we did offer a substantially reduced cost to resolve the matter, despite the fact that you willingly signed up for the service. Your counter offer was at a level where it was clearly not going to be acceptable since it represented a tiny fraction of the value of the order.

We are obviously aware that this matter went to court and have accepted the outcome. However, your description of our business is unfair and inaccurate and does not reflect the experience of our many thousands of clients.

While we regret that this matter has occurred, we nonetheless wish you success in your future pursuit of public sector contract opportunities.

My experience with BIP Solutions has…

My experience with BIP Solutions has been extremely disappointing.

I signed up to their platform but, due to an unexpected shortage of staff, we were unable to make use of it beyond the first week. Despite explaining this situation openly and honestly, and despite the fact they can see from their own system that we only logged in at the very start, I have been met with no understanding or flexibility.

Instead, their only response has been to point to the contract and threaten me with legal action unless I pay the full £5,100. There has been no willingness to find a fair solution, only pressure tactics.

For me, this is a crazy way to do business – prioritising short-term money over long-term relationships or reputation. Businesses face unforeseen challenges all the time, and I would have expected more understanding from a company that claims to support other organisations.

I would advise anyone considering their services to think very carefully before signing anything, as in my experience there has been zero flexibility, zero customer care, and an aggressive approach to enforcing payment regardless of circumstances.

I suspect most of BIP 5 star reviews…

I suspect most of BIP 5 star reviews are fake. They have been reported to Trading Standards for running a scam lead generation service. They get people to sign up then if you don't cancel in writing you get invoiced for £1200. We took them to court in the end and won and they had to pay us compensation.

Hannah is a star

Hannah was incredible as our CSM - she gave us a really thorough tour of the entire platform with all the tips and tricks to get the most from BiP.

She's been so attentive and we wouldn't have got half the use of the platform without her support.

Exceptional Support and Guidance – Highly Recommended!

I had the pleasure of working with Peter Reid during my recent experience with BIP Solutions. From the start, Peter was highly professional, supportive, and attentive to my needs. He provided clear guidance and step-by-step assistance as I navigated the complexities of submitting my response for the "Tagging Project using Artificial Intelligence." His customer service was exceptional, and his prompt, efficient support helped me resolve issues with ease, including successfully adding the necessary CPV codes to my form.

Peter's deep knowledge of the system and his proactive approach were invaluable. Outstanding Service from Jasmine and the Team at BIP Solutions!

We had the pleasure of working with Jasmine and her team at BIP Solutions for three exhibitions in Glasgow, Newport, and London. Despite our last-minute decision to attend, Jasmine went above and beyond to accommodate us, ensuring everything was perfectly arranged. The level of customer service provided was exceptional — efficient, friendly, and incredibly helpful, especially since we were new to attending such shows.

Thanks to Jasmine and her team, we were able to navigate the entire process smoothly, and we are thrilled with the outcome. Great experience so far

In the short time we have been working with BiP Solutions they have proved to be very knowledgeable about the public sector industry and have been on hand to support us whenever we have any questions about navigating what has, in the past, been a complicated landscape.

The software has great functionality and a lot of data that would take a huge amount of time for us to source from other multiple channels. The fact that it has been farmed into one place is a huge benefit.

Brandon Coghill is our Customer Success manager and had been brilliant helping us navigate the system and hosting training sessions for us. Really helpful and would highly recommend him.
