never order from big w marketplace they are thieves ,they will not refund your money after returning items, they will just lie and never refund you, very very bad company literal thieves and liars

Read the reviews before you use Big W Marketplace. Ordered something 3rd December, 18th December the seller still hasnt dispatched the item despite providing you with a tracking number to stall you questioning where it is. The courier has never received the parcel. Big W take the payment but take no responsibility for the transaction afterwards. Trusted Partners' i would question this.

Big W Market Place is hopeless - if you want to return an item you have to contact the seller and then to be told no return - I would not buy off Market place ever again - it took 10 days to post the item - 3 weeks is fast delivery is fast (yes I know we are getting close to Xmas) -I am OK with Big W itself

I was picking up a toy to look at and some old lady that worked there asked me if I was buying it. I said no and she followed me as I was putting it down. She then followed me around the store. I picked somthing else up to LIIK at ajd she just stared at me and was very snobby and rude. I did not like my experience

Ordered Coopers ginger beer home brew kit online to be picked up from the Mandurah Big W store and the order was cancelled within 2 hours. Received email stating order was cancelled at my request, i did not cancel the order. This is the second time this year i have had an order cancelled at a Big W. Not good enough.

Made an online order I put wrong address in and now $280 dollars worth of items are gone. I contact with in minutes of ordering and was told nope cannot change address and nope cannot cancel. I was told I would get something from Australia post to redirect Tried that and no that cannot happen so was told nothing we can do. To Bad so sad. BIG W I cannot be the only one that put an incorrect address in. You must have a way to change things UBER and Door dash do seriously very upset and angry it was Christmas gifts.

Order was never arrived, no solution from BW or the sellers. this is the second time in a row we had an issue with marketplace. Never again. Avoid at all cost.

Utter rubbish. Try to order something online because store range inadequate and after jumping through hoops, put in codes and addresses several times they can’t deliver to a PO Box because it is too bulky. Even though they just made you enter it manually. It is a backpack with wheels. I am supposed to have it delivered home when I am not there for it to be stolen. I have received items bulkier than that to my PO Box. More like pure laziness. I USED to like Big W but service is sadly lacking. I was told it was a third party supplying the item. If items are adevertised on YOUR website then it is up to YOU to ensure the item is delivered how I want it to be delivered. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. If you can’t stock it don’t advertise it on your website.

Absolutely disgusting after sales service, I bought an LED Xmas tree, I assembled it and it wasn’t working. I got in touch and they asked me to take a video cause they didn’t believe me per se, I did, uploaded it, then the excuses started, “they never got it” “upload again”, they then told me they were closing my case” I complained then I was given and site to upload to, same excuses, so today I decided to concede and not bother. I decided to forfeit the money, too hard to get a refund, I honestly thought BigW was a reputable company. My bad. 😩🤦‍♀️

I purchased a benchtop dishwasher from big W marketplace on the 22nd of the 11th getting messages saying it was going to be delivered on Monday then Tuesday then Wednesday then Thursday did not come try to cancel was told it would cost me a hundred dollars cancellation fee so I told them too deliver it kept getting messages every day saying it was coming contacted the seller he said he would email the courier and get back to me in one two three days by the 9th of the 12th to have the dishwasher delivered back to the seller on the 8th and then receive a email saying it's going to cost 42 dollars to resend or a hundred dollars cancellation
big W marketplace is a scam do not use big W they will wipe their hands of you and don't care

CarPlay product arrived and doesn’t even work. This online store is fully of dodgy resellers and is a huge hassle to return things at your own postage expense. Shame on you Big W. Wish I had read the reviews before I placed the order.

Bought narwal vacuum online via big w marketplace less than 6months start issue request for refund which is been refused after 20+ email back and forth now they want to refund partially. Seriously??? Big W

I purchased from Big W online an item for my son for Christmas. It has turned up today in a very used condition. Scuffed and marked all over with a black sticky substance all over the wheels (it is a push toy in the form of a duck that waddles). There was hair tangled around one of the wheels as well. Absolutely disgusting!

Review is for big w market place. Bought a pair of hoka during Black Friday sale, it said the estimated shipping was in 7 business days. It’s now a week later and still not dispatched. I get its Christmas and volumes are high but don’t advertise something if you can’t keep to the timing. Other suppliers are busy too - you normally get an Aust post / courier update within 2 business days. It’s really poor.
When you reach out to customer service all they say is that it’s coming with no ETA. Useless.

Order was never delivered as I was advised “lost in transit’. Tracking page says still in depot 5km from my house. Refund requested and still nothing, no product and no refund and told I have to wait for big w to get a RTS notification from their own delivery company before they can refund my money….weeks later and still nothing…Pretty sure this breaches consumer rights

Poor transparency around item purchase and return for marketplace items.
Can't return items to store.
Have to pay for postage.
Very slow delivery with the company not taking any responsibility for that.

I just wasted petrol and 2 hrs driving around to 3 stores that said it was in stock on their websites when there was none at any stores....I found out that their orders were meant to come in 15 weeks ago, and they were showing up as delivered, when in actual fact none of the stores had received them.....what an absolute joke big w is!!!

Shelf pricing at the Richmond NSW store stated $85 however the actual product was over $200. When challenged the apparent store manager was extremely rude, did not introduce herself or wish to discuss the matter.

Worst service I have had in that store.
Going down hill badly

They list items online as in stock, even send you updates saying that the item has been processed and is out for delivery and then 3 and a half weeks later when you contact them asking for an update, they tell you that the item was out of stock. Absolutely useless. Maybe if they focused more on providing products than being woke they wouldn’t have this issue. How come other companies are able to manage, but this company that has ACTUAL businesses located in Australia fails each and every single time? Absolutely ridiculous and they wonder why they are losing customers to Amazon. Absolutely frustrating.
