A pleasant return.
When entering the centre I had a lovely greeting by reception staff.
As I haven't been to the centre for a couple of months due to health issues I had a surprise to see that now they sell refreshments as well as speedo now.
I found all the staff very helpful and very sympathetic.
I managed to have a little swim then treated myself to a coffee and a sit down before I went home.
I'm sure I wasn't able to do that before.
I feel so much better for my visit and I will now be returning more often.

I don’t know how to book a gym…
I don’t know how to book a gym induction for my child. I have been into the premises 4 times since signing him up and cannot find any staff.

Improving already !…
Very thorough and sympathetic assessment of my needs from Hiedi which have been followed up with a short gym programme which is already helping with my mobility following a fall breaking my hip and arm. I finally feel after nearly a year that I will get back to a more normal life with a more positive outlook and renewed determination.

Much needed maintenance
The men’s changing rooms are in a poor and unacceptable condition, with evident maintenance issues and a clear need for consistent daily cleaning.
The lockers and key bands, in particular, are in a state of disrepair and require urgent attention. These are fundamental facilities and should be maintained to an appropriate standard at all times.
It is disappointing that matters of this nature have not been identified and addressed through routine inspections and proactive management, and instead have had to be raised by patrons.

Good all round
Good all round. Helpful staff. Good mix of younger and older clientele. It would be nice to have some music in the pool, like there is in the corridors, a mix to suit all age ranges would be good.

Place is pretty much empty on the school runs.
Yes changing rooms could be better.

I’ve been training at this gym for…
I’ve been training at this gym for almost a month now, and unfortunately, I have to express my disappointment. One of the essential pieces of equipment for my workout routine has been out of order since I joined — and it still hasn’t been fixed. It’s frustrating, especially when that equipment is crucial for my progress and fitness goals.
There’s been no clear communication or visible effort to resolve the issue, which makes me feel like maintenance and member feedback aren’t being taken seriously. I hope this changes soon, because otherwise, it’s hard to justify continuing my membership.

Not too bad
2 classes cancelled in the space of a week. Other than that, love it, staff are friendly. But please clean the swimming area and changing rooms, they are always disgusting and smell awful

The gym could be cleaner and the facilities could be better. There are limited classes, which fill up quickly.
I like that there are cleaning wipes stations, that help keep the machines clean between users. There are also different function rooms available, which is a bonus.
