The adviser was quick to understand my needs, and followed up with advice of the next steps to take.

Harry P. is the person we dealt with. Answered all our questions and explained the different options really well. We are not in a position to proceed at present and we want to research some more into Income Focus Funds, which is what we are looking for at present. We have no hesitation in recommending Harry P., easy to talk to, polite, respectful and punctual.

Harry P quickly grasped our priorities and was very calm listening to our ideas
He made some broad suggestions which were helpful
Felt he could have been rather bolder in suggesting his own view of what might work best for us - we did not change our thinking very much in the light of his contribution

I chose to reinvest funds using portfolio packages on offer. I found it difficult to choose but Harry Prasad was very patient and helpful. He then referred me to someonelse if I found the online instructions difficult fo follow which I did. Again the advisor helped me through it step by step

Company is unable to deal with move from junior to adult isa and change to reflect the new allowance, has been unable to fix this

I have been a long-standing customer with Bestinvest but plan to end my relationship with them. I tried to withdraw cash from a SIPP today in time for the 05 April 2025 tax year end (which is 12 business days into the future). Was told that the Bestinvest deadline to process this sort of transaction in time for the end of the tax year has passed. Sadly, this deadline / restriction is not very clear on their website. Their processes and systems appear to be very inflexible to be unable to deal with a relatively simple request within 12 business days. Very disappointing. Other SIPP providers do not appear to have these constraints.

The call with Harry was very helpful and gave me the information I required. He also said I could get back to him with any further queries which is good to hear. I will be doing so as I am finding that other commmunication with Bestinvest is poor.

It may well be me but I do find that it could be easier to evaluate fund options on the site. Breakdown by sector / geography could be simpler to review.

I found my coaching session with Harry to be very useful, he was very personable & helpful & put me right on a few things as well as giving me ideas on what to do next.
On the downside, which is nothing to do with Harry or my coaching session. I think the general admin work since my session has been very poor. I sold various funds a week ago with a view to transferring the proceeds to my ISA fund & I am still waiting for this part of the process to be completed, I now have to transfer to the ISA fund then buy new unit trusts.
At this rate it will be another week at least, unacceptable! & it's not the first time but it WILL be the last

The staff member I spoke to was very helpful and solved the minor problem I was having with my accoun

Help explain how to make the required investment

Harry Persad was an excellent coach (as he was on a previous coaching session), with his customer facing skills and knowledge. I now have the answers I needed, which were then backed up with an email.

It is worth pointing out though that this session wasn’t strictly necessary in that it didn’t involve investment advice. It dealt with admin issues around bare trusts. The Bestinvest office I have to deal with do not yet appear to have the full range of knowledge and customer care necessary that I have been used to over many years with the company.
