Only recently transferred funds into Bestinvest and I was not certain on what to do. So I setup a call with one of the coaches, this was very easy to organise. You are presented with a number of dates and times, so you can choose a time convenient to you. The call / video call lasts 45 minutes and I was able to explain my concerns. Sam Dam was extremely helpful and explained exactly the whole process. Very impressed and if I have future concerns, I have no hesitation in contacting their coaches again.

I’ve been using a SIPP account with Bestinvest, and the experience around salary sacrifice contributions has been frustrating. The process is slow, inefficient, and overly manual — not what you'd expect in 2025.

Each month, I need to fill in a manual form just to credit money via salary sacrifice. It doesn’t end there. Once Bestinvest receives the funds, they don’t automatically credit it to your account. Instead, they wait for you to complete a form, again, and then it takes them another 5–7 working days to process it. In total, they’re holding the money for around 10-15 days before it finally shows in your SIPP.

This whole process could easily be automated. With the technology available today, a simple click-to-sign system should replace these outdated forms. It's unnecessarily time-consuming and lacks the efficiency you’d expect from a modern investment platform. It would be much more appealing if the process were modernised, especially for those making regular salary sacrifice contributions

The arrangements for requesting and setting up the call were easy and able to make minor modifications to the timing.
My main reason for asking for a coaching session was to find out if shares in Newbury racecourse could be sold on the best invest platform.
The adviser had not researched this and could only give me the number of the 'help desk' which is a number I could have accessed from the web site. I did make contact with another adviser but am still waiting to hear their answer. I did have some help with selling funds that I already held on my accounts.

Lydia was great at providing the relevant information. She was able to respond to all my queries. Overall session was very helpful. Further, useful information was emailed for me to review and take action

I'm looking to consolidate my pension funds and contacted BestInvest to discuss their SIPP. Harry was very helpful and knowledgeable and I was able to resolve a lot of my concerns and queries; I gained a much clearer idea of my options. The call was very straightforward and using a video link was a great advantage.

I am a novice to investing in that I always used property rather than funds. I am now at the stage of liquidising my property portfolio and wanted advice on stocks and shares. I have little understanding of the stock market but the advisor was able to explain in a very understandable way what risks are/ returns and resilience. I am more confident about what to do and how to do it. Best Invest has been good for me and the coaching was very helpful and mindful of my needs and wants. Highly recommend.

Helped me get an understanding of how to invest my money giving me the confidence to take control of my savings investment

Harry was very helpful in the advice he offered at a time of investment uncertainty. I would recommend talking to an investment adviser.

I booked a call with a Best Invest representative and he was on time, polite, knowledgeable and very helpful for my questions.
My specific questions were around consolidating my various shares and wrapping them into an ISA. Gareth provided all the answers and ways to complete this and also emailed the necessary forms. I have invested with Best Invest since early 2000 and they have constantly improved, without high charges and always been totally helpful and honest.

What a fantastic team! I have been with Bestinvest for a number of years and cannot fault them. The team are so polite, helpful, knowledgeable and lovely. From calling up with embarrassment from forgetting login details, to wanting to understand more about trading, they're always there to support me. Thank you all for being wonderful!

Harry answered all my questions and agreed to make sure the Pension team at Best Invest will send me my latest pension prediction for 2024-2025 (like they used to do when I first joined them). Harry was very well prepared and liked my feedback whereby Best Invest might give more information for self employed about how they can maximise their SIpp, if they want to, by contributing up to the total net profit for the tax year in question. There is very little information about this at the moment on the Internet. I also liked to fact that this was a video call

My wife and I had an excellent coaching session with Harry Persad regarding our current and future financial plans. He was knowledgeable and helpful with his advice. We are now considering our options as the financial market changed dramatically two days after our discussion.

Opened a Sipp with BI and did a same day transfer of funds. It’s now been one week and no monies in my account. No one can give me an idea of how long the money will take to credit my account and therefore I cannot invest in any funds. Avoid, far better platforms to use!
