I had a good experience with Berkeley Psychiatrists during my initial appointment. Jelena Poznakova was understanding, attentive, and listened to me.

I was, however, disappointed when I called before getting an appointment about the status of my ADHD referral, and I asked the administrator, "How long should I wait to call? Should I call in 2 weeks?" And she said, "Yeah, if you like"

This was extremely unhelpful, lacked clear communication, and was rather poor customer service. Nevertheless, Jelena made up for this poor interaction.

Easy booking process, I choose a weekend appointment with Dr Stroma Macfarlane. She was so lovely, made me feel really comfortable, no judgement I opened up to her which I normally find very difficult.
Diagnosed the same day, which Dr Strome explained the diagnosis to me so cleary and helped me understand things. My report was sent over to me the same day too. Medication was issed which took 5 days to arrive, very quick.
Would highly recommend Dr Stoma I wish id done it years ago. Worth the money, didn't want to pay but I was getting a lot worse and couldn't carry on the way I was. Thank you Dr Stroma you are an amazing lady, thank you for listening and helping me.

I can't thank Berkeley Psychiatrists enough for the support and understanding I received throughout my ADHD assessment. I was naturally quite nervous going into the appointment, but from the moment it started, I was made to feel at ease.

My psychiatrist was kind, patient, and genuinely listened to me without judgement. From start to on going they have been excellent, it’s a private clinic that also offers NHS choices, from referral for ADHD, I was contacted within a week to arrange an appointment via teams, within the month I had that appointment, was diagnosed as expected and had my meds appointment 2 weeks later and am now on my medication, follow up appt booked and all with in two months of referral, the staff have been extremely supportive and easy to deal with……highly recommend, less than two months to change my whole outlook on life!!

My whole experience has been very positive. Throughout my ongoing titration, Olivia has been incredibly helpful and quick to respond to and action any changes. Whenever I have contacted Berkeley, every member of staff I have spoken to has remained patient, understanding and supportive. I have always felt that I am being treated with genuine care. They were friendly, thorough, thoughtful and considerate. No complaints. Very quick assessment and follow-up appointments are scheduled right there and then, so theres no anxiety around knowing when the next one will be.

I had my ADHD assessment with Prof Chandrappa and found the whole experience to be excellent.

From the outset, he was kind, approachable and very easy to talk to. He took the time to understand both my childhood history and the day-to-day challenges I experience, asking thoughtful questions and listening carefully throughout. I never felt rushed or judged, which made it much easier to talk openly about things I have struggled with for many years.

Following the assessment, Prof Chandrappa clearly explained his conclusions and confirmed a diagnosis of ADHD (predominantly inattentive). Although receiving a diagnosis brought mixed emotions, I left feeling relieved, understood and reassured that my experiences had been taken seriously.

My assessment was arranged through the NHS Right to Choose pathway. I was also very impressed with Berkeley Psychiatrists as a whole. The booking process was straightforward, communication was excellent, and I was able to have my assessment within four weeks of my referral, which exceeded my expectations.

I have a follow-up appointment arranged to discuss treatment, and based on my experience so far, I would have no hesitation in recommending Berkeley Psychiatrists to anyone seeking an ADHD assessment. The whole process has been professional, compassionate and supportive.

Great service. I was able to book an assesment within days at a time convenient for me. I saw Dr Hollie Hearfield who put me at ease immediately and showed great compassion throughout the assesment. She listened and fedback throughout. The arrangement with medications and delivery is straightforward and efficient. I would highly reccommend.

My experience with Berkeley Psychiatrists through the Right to Choose scheme has been excellent. I was offered an ADHD assessment within a week of my GP referral, and had my video call the week after. During my assessment, Dr Nirvana Chandrappa have been very accommodating during the assessment and after. I had plenty of time to reflect on and discuss my health concerns, and he has continued to support me after the assessment by responding to my requests and queries I have had promptly and helpfully. I also got my full diagnostic report as soon as I requested it; big thanks to the incredible admin team, especially Jesse and Olivia. My titration experience with Ms Claire Carroll has been fantastic. I have been given a range of medication options, practical advice, and Claire always making me feel listened to and never rushed. I genuinely couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Berkeley Psychiatrists to anyone looking for an ADHD assessment and ongoing care.
