Made to feel welcome by Jean and Roaxanne, had a coffee whilst I waited the short time for my appointment. Natasha was very thorough, gave some great advice and context to the results of each part of the eye examination

Friendly reception, efficient and friendly optometrist, all made it as pleasant an experience as it could be.

The Optician gave me a thorough examination and then I tried some glasses on picked the frame I liked,then I was measured for the lenses and ordered the new glasses they came back after a week I returned to try them on and a perfect fit.Everyone at Bayfield was so helpful well done all at Barnard Castle

Excellent experience, completely different from the usual high street multples. Lovely ambiance, coffee on arrival, friendly and knowledgable staff and a great range of glasses. Abit more expensive that run of the mill but you get what you pay for

Downside: glasses (frame and lenses etc) are very expensive - potentially may go elsewhere in future, following check-ups at Bayfields

As always, the opticians annual review was excellent and comprehensive with sound advice to follow. The frame choice was so easy, I just left it to the staff and their choice was better than mine! Its the main reason we return every year its a quality experience.

They were thorough, efficient, polite and went out of their way to save me some costs.

Everyone was caring and very professional. After a retinal migraine I was offered a next day appointment. The optician's examination was detailed and informative, and all the the staff provided an excellent service. My new glasses arrived within less than a week and the after care was great. I can highly recommend Bayfields at Barnard Castle and thank you!

Really quick and staff always welcoming supportive and friendly

Went for Hearing check and testing. My current aids were not working properly so sent away for a full service and check. Very grateful that I was loaned a demo pair of aids whilst mine were away for 2 weeks. Unfortunately when I collected my own aids they were faulty and would not pair with Blue tooth on my phone. Returned to audiologist and despite many efforts over some time, they could not pair the aids. I was again loaned demo aids and mine have been sent back, so another two weeks without them. A downside of this audiology service is that they are not at the branch very often, on the positive side the staff are very friendly and helpful.
