I rarely write reviews, but the exceptional service I received from Robert Dawson at Barnes & Partners has inspired me to share my experience. I recently entrusted Robert with both the sale and purchase of my home, and although I’ve always relied on my trusted solicitors—highly regarded as a reliable firm in Hoddesdon—Robert’s service went above and beyond, completely surpassing all expectations.
Robert truly outshines the competition. If you’re ever recommended a solicitor in Hoddesdon, I strongly urge you to consider Robert instead. He leaves the others in the shade.
I firmly believe in the saying, “You get what you pay for.” My past experiences with cheaper firms offering rock-bottom prices often led to frustrating complications and unexpected costs. Even my usual solicitors, who charge fees similar to Barnes & Partners, have always been slow to respond and nowhere near as proactive as Robert. While Robert may not offer the lowest price, his fees are exceptional value for the outstanding service he delivers.
Robert works tirelessly, always putting his clients first. His efficient and well-organised process keeps you informed at every stage, with regular updates on progress. For the first time ever, I didn’t have to chase a solicitor—Robert was always one step ahead.
From now on, all my business will go to Robert Dawson. My only regret is that I didn’t discover him sooner.

Im thankful to Zohaib and Ezgi for help, guidance (sometimes even after office hours :-) ) and care they have shown when getting our first home !!! I was told by seller’s party that they rarely see such thorough solicitor ! There is no doubt on the amount of efforts and hard-work taken in securing my deal and this did not took away the patience and care this team brings every time when you interact with them.
