Very bad customer service: received sweater with security tag. After more than 2 weeks, I finally spoke with a real person instead of chatbots, but got no proper solution provided.

We love to shop at Balibaris whenever we visit London & found online ordering to be quite easy! Our purchase arrived quickly and, of course, it’s beautiful!

I had my best ever shopping experience in the Marylebone store - I only popped in to return an item, which was too large, and ended up spending over an hour in there (which I never do).

The manager, Amira (and her assistant, whose name I didn't get) were lovely, great fun, and made excellent recommendations.

The clothes are quality. They look and feel great, and the fit - especially the shirts - is spot on (I'm on the short side and it's sometimes hard to find).

Hard recommend.

I have a lovely Balibaris goat-skin jacket. I think it’s called the ‘London’, which, being where I bought it, is apposite.
The only problem is that the first time I wore it one of the buttons on the front - the sole I was using to button up the jacket - worked itself loose: the cotton lengthened until it was about to drop off but fortunately I caught it. Jacket returned ASAP which was a Tuesday. All I wanted was the shop to reattach the button, and check all the others. Service was OK, but not especially forward-leaning; I had to suggest sending to a tailor, etc…
The jacket wasn’t ready for the weekend, no matter really, and so it was more like 10 days before it was returned - from the heart of London’s tailoring district. (Tyrrwhit’s redid in similar circumstances in 24 hours.)

Next time out, half a mile down the road, two buttons done up and the second one comes loose exactly as had the first (the fixed one was fine). I was using the pockets a lot for phones, etc, and the pocket button came loose and fell off too.
I now have to assume that every single button on this jacket was applied shoddily. Not good at any price, and certainly not at this one. Beware!

I placed an order on 29th December 2025 for five items. Balibaris' first mistake was to include 2x shower gel 'presents' at a cost of £18 (I see on the UK website trustpilot account another user has complained about this and two of three reviews are 1 star). To be fair, its customer service rectified this when I emailed.

The main issue is after five subsequent emails requesting an update about my order I have yet to receive a response (as of 9th January 2026) despite my money being taken 5 days ago. It appears the goods have not been shipped, suggesting it is an issue within its own operations instead of a carrier. The items were purchased as a birthday present for a birthday which has now passed.

Hugely disappointed at the lack of communication and incredibly slow service. I also note other UK users have pointed out the disingenuous nature of including "FREE RETURNS in France" on its UK website.

The parcel arrived really in short time, the chosen stuff is fitting good

Dreadful experience with rude and aggressive store manager at Marylebone. Life is too short for this. There are plenty of other clothing stores where the staff are actually polite and helpful to their customers.

I cannot find a damn size chart for parkas on the site. When i go into faq it just gives me this: "I need help to choose my size

A size guide is available on the page of the item you select. Please refer to it to find the right size for you."

There is no size chart.

Also while we're here, how come the brand has 4.5 stars rating, yet 28% 1 star reviews. It doesn't add up, mathematically speaking. It should have a rating of 3.77.

Excellent client service!

Despite a return request that was on time and multiple reminders (around 7 from both me and my husband), I haven't received an approval and label for my return.

I will now involve the creditcard company to see what can be done.

Worst customer service ever.

Plusieurs expériences d’achats avec balibaris. Satisfaits de tous, notamment des shorts hanks achetés cette année. Note to English client, have a look on the French website for the price in euros… Experience en boutique à Londres, Covent Garden - Géniale!
