Selecting & ordering was very easy

Selecting & ordering was very easy. Cake was delivered about 5 hours after window given by UPS but that can happen. They recommend scheduling delivery day before event, and good advice! My friend raved about the appearance and taste so I call it a win.

My mother received the package

My mother received the package, the cheesecake was nice and cold so she let it thaw out a bit. She absolutely loved it! The crust was perfect, the cake was not too sweet, and the berries were delicious.

Save Yourself the Hassle - Go Elsewhere

Their website lets you choose the delivery date. I chose Friday, April 3rd. The cake I ordered shipped on the 1st, with a UPS expected delivery time and date of 9:00 pm on the 3rd. It didn’t arrive. It’s the 6th and it still hasn’t arrived. We were left scrambling to find a dessert for Easter. All of us were very disappointed.

When I emailed Bakemeawish, they answered today and said that it was all UPS’ fault. They wanted to make it up to me by waiving any charges for a reshipment—like they were doing me a favor. I told them I wanted a full refund which they gave me, but their email said it was too bad UPS ruined my Easter gift.

I understand that shipping issues do occur, but come on, they are in NY and we are in northern NC. And it is TOTALLY unprofessional for any company to blame someone else, in this case UPS. I don’t think this company will last in the long run. They don’t care about customers and they won’t take any responsibility. Do yourself a favor and order from Goldbelly. They care.

Will never order from them again

I ordered a pie to be delivered to my boyfriend for his Birthday and it never arrived. It said it was supposed to arrive at noon and it was not delivered! They have no customer service on the weekends and the pie is ridiculously priced. I will never order from them again. I better get my money back!

I PURCHASED $300 OF GARBAGE

I PURCHASED 2 CHEESECAKES, 2 PIES, AND A CAKE - WHAT WAS DELIVERED TO ME WAS GARBAGE!! I HAD TO REMOVE THE ENTIRE TOPS OF THE PIES AND MAKE A CRUMBLE BECAUSE THE PIES CAME SHATTERED, THE CHEESE CAKES WERE MISSED, AND THE CARROT CAKE WITH THE MESSAGE ON TOP WAS SO HORRIBLE I HAD TO PULL THE TIME OFF - I TRUSTED YOU TO PROVE QUALITY PRODUCT, AND THAT IS NOT WHAT I RECEIVED !!

First time using this company

First time using this company. Placed an order for my disabled sister 70th birthday well in advance to ensure plenty of time for delivery. The night before the delivery date received notice it was going to be delivered 3 days later. I was beyond angry! When I called for a refund and to let them know how angry I was, just a recording. I didn’t have enough time to even order flowers. My disabled 70 year old sister received nothing from me on her birthday. So upsetting and disappointing. I finally received a refund and an excuse that it was held up by UPS. Such liars, I gave them plenty of time, They totally dropped the ball. So ANGRY! I wanted this to be my send a cake company I could use in the future. PS. Never had problems with any online companies I order food from to send as gifts. Don’t trust them!

Cake left on floor of building entrance without any notice

Ordered a cake as a surprise "gift" for a family member one month ahead of time to allow more than enough time before the date to be delivered appropriately. Added a contact phone and message with details to contact due to it being a cake and not a random parcel. What I got was no notification, neither the recipient who I had to ask if he received the surprise bday cake to find out that nothing was delivered. It wasn't until I went back into the account information and checked tracking that I found out the cake was left on the floor of the building entrance. the only reason I am not giving this less stars is cause the cake, thankfully, looked good (even after 24h).
