Whether you're in the Trade or embarking on a DIY project, we will have the supplies and advice you need to get the job done. Historically the Basingstoke site had been a sawmill for over 130 years and has been used for fencing and timber sales for the past 30 years. Before it became a sales site, it was the Herriard Estate Sawmill where they produced all their own fencing materials from the logs in the estate forests.

Great service, great product
Great service, just need to improve their email communication. Ie when you send out an delivery date that your not going to meet, don’t wait for the customer to contact you asking when it is, proactively tell them it will be another few days etc.
Otherwise always super friendly, helpful and well priced products.

Good Reliable Service
This is the second time we have used AVS Fencing. As before the products were good quality, mostly arrived on time and excellent communications. Would have given 5 star only had to wait a few weeks for the sleepers to arrive, no doubt due to circumstances beyond AVS's control.

Great delivery service but concrete shortage issues
Good quality products with great delivery service. However, there was a long delay because of concrete shortage and a limit on how many bags of postcrete I could buy.

It's hard to get excited about a delivery of trellis panels. However - they were of a high standard, delivered days earlier than promised and by a very friendly, helpful driver. In the trellis panel world, it doesn't get much better than that!

The Basingstoke Branch of AVS - Going Above And Beyond
The Basingstoke Branch are excellent, products are competitively priced, really quick delivery, friendly staff.
I made a mistake with my order, and they helped me correct it and made sure the refund was paid promptly, with minimal effort on my side.
I don’t normally write reviews, but these guys at excellent and I have to highly recommend them.

Herriard sawmill is renown locally for…
Herriard sawmill is renown locally for being a go to place for landscaping product. There is nothing at all wrong with the product provided its just that now the level of service is centralised via AVS systems and it takes ages for delivery. 2 weeks for fence posts is not great.
De-centralise, put it under local control and get some customer service back please!!
