Worse than useless
RE: 6152375-1490364357 then 6191713-1493967797
Told company on March 27th that I didn't order any further aircraft from the Vulcan which was advertised on TV. Wanted to return item but never received anything from their customer services apart from excuses.
Still getting invoiced for both items and refuse to pay for the unordered model. Noticed company has been done by the Advertising Standards Authority several times recently for mis-selling goods.

Do not use them
"Hello,
Thank you for your review.
I am very sorry hear of the issues you are currently experiencing.
Could you please supply me with your customer number so I can investigate this for you.
Kind regards,
Jack Pike
**Update**
Thank you for supplying me with your account number.
I have discounted the outstanding balance of £14.98 owed for the WWII Northdrop B-2 Spirit Livret model as a gesture of our goodwill.
I have sent you a letter to confirm this has been done for you to keep for your records.
Kind regards,
Jack Pike"
So despite being told in mid-august by "Jack Pike" that the payment was cancelled I've just received another bill. Utterly useless, trading standards time methinks!

Chris Price, Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) spoke with you this morning to confirm the unsolicited goods you sent had been returned.
Your female member of staff confirmed this. Can you now send me confirmation of this before the matter escalates and that no money is owed to you.
2 November
I have just received a threatening "payment reminder" from this company for items delivered that were not requested.
They do not respond to emails/ phone calls although they can of course accept payments. My next port of call is the Citizens Advice Bureau. Would be grateful for any advice on getting this company " off my back"
Thanks
Adrian

After my last review
After my last review which was not a 'bad post', I think we are closer to my original issue being resolved by Atlas Editions. I am upset on reading the response from Atlas Editions especially 'saying I am happy with the service I was given' as I did not say that. Further to an earlier conversation, a man from Atlas Editions called me at lunch time today to discuss the trustpilot review. I explained to him that I was on my way out and in a hurry and would prefer to speak later. Initially I did not fully understand what he was saying as I was trying to gather my things so I that wasn't late and delaying the other people who were waiting for me. However he continued stating that he was from Atlas Editions, that I had closed my account at the end of March 2017 and said that no money was due. I trust this means the account is closed and would appreciate that this is confirmed in writing.
My original issue still stands and I want to reiterate that I am still unhappy with this company for being pushy and causing distress.
Below is my initial review on my experience.
Do not EVER deal with this company, they NEVER get back to you with the correct information. In excess of 5 phone calls to customer service in January, February and March this year, and I still don't have copies of the orders I made and still kept getting sent items I did not order, which I returned via Royal Mail. Now I am being chased for money for items I did not order and have returned directly to Atlas Editions.
I agree with reviews that this is company is pushy and preys on the elderly, not to mention the cost in phone calls I have had to pay and its cost.

I keep receiving items that I have not ordered. I have never had an account and the items turn up addressed to different people. I have returned all items to date at my expense. Atlas owes me money for time and postage.
Never ever accept a parcel from these horrible people.

Don't trust this company
Don't trust this company. Even if you have Payments taken by regular Direct Debits, you'll become at the mercy of debt collectors
Further to the untrue response by Atlas: which stated ....
" I have contacted CCS collect and had the account cleared for you as gesture of our goodwill."
This is untrue and today I have received another letter from CCS giving me only 3 days to pay up.
I did not request or instigate the termination of the Classic Coaches Collection they just ceased to arrive. Looks the collection was closed by your staff and this set in process the debt process.
As you cannot be trusted to do what you claim as well as your updated response here I expect a full written apology from the Company and written confirmation from CCS that the matter is resolved and they will be taking no further action. In order to meet the CCS deadline this must be received within 2 days to remove the impending fear of CCS "instigating further action"
*******************************
In you last reply you said Account 24793612 was the one with Carters tow Truck which reached it's end. The Classic coaches was terminated and the payment method removed, which apparently meant the next two deliveries needed a manual payment.
1) I didn't terminate the collection, it just stopped arriving. So why was the payment method stopped when you charge up to a month after?
2) why was no letter sent t the time ? the first notice I had was the CCS letter 8 months later.
I wouldn't notice as the still running collection has the same value per invoice as the coaches.
your previous reply states
" I have contacted CCS collect and had the account cleared for you as gesture of our goodwill." It goes on to say "I have sent you a letter to confirm the above for you to keep for your records"
Neither of these appear to be true as CCS have again been in contact and I have no letter from you.
Atlas ended the collection of their own volition and removed the card details (although the card details were still on file for another running collection). Atlas sent no notice in the 8 months after the last coach arrived and then started debt proceedings.

I seem to have accounts which you merged but I can't see the most recent on the website, as you can't merge accounts so that I can see the account that is running. The world of stobart collection has ceased arriving. I'm guessing that next august I'll get debt collectors after me for not paying (well you not collecting the dues) as you closed the collection and the payment details were no longer there to continue collecting the DD. Why did it tae so long to respond ? Why is this the only way customers can contact you ?

Item I never ordered.
I had 2 pocket watches "Aces of the air" which were paid for, and several days ago contacted Atlas to say I did not want any more.On 22nd August e mail arrived to say my account had been cancelled.Fine I thought all done and dusted..but no..today 26th August I received the third pocket watch which should not have arrived until next month if i had not cancelled.
Why should I pay return postage on something that I havent agreed to buy which shouldn,t have arrived until next month anyway?? Very shoddy business practice.I will never use again.

I originally ordered 3 different collections in May 17, two items arrived of which I sent them payment, the 3rd item never came. I was not that impressed with the items so went on there site and cancelled each collection seperately. In July I got two more models which I thought had been cancelled, so I went back on there site and cancelled yet again but this time I also wrote to customer services telling them all had been cancelled and that I kept a screenshot of all my cancellations. I then returned the two models back to them which cost me £4 something.
I have now recieved a bill off them for £32.95 for rubbish I have not had, been returned, and all fully cancelled.
I will not be paying this bill, a letter has gone to head office and states that everything has been cancelled and anything sent to me in the future will be held for 30 days for them to send a return paid for sae otherwise they will be binned.
This company does not answer emails or anything else, they just hope to scare you into payment.

I ordered a Vulcan bomber and Eddie Stobbard truck for my 4yr old grandson as a one of,then another model came which I did not order . I emailed Atlas Editions to inform them this item was not wanted or ordered and to cancel any further orders and to close my account, no reply to this email so sent another one and then returned the unwanted item recorded delivery, at a cost of £4.40. I also put a note on the return invoice indicating my request as above. Low and behold today ( 22/08/2017) yet another model arrives. So another email, a phone call to customer services, which was just cut off. So now have another unwanted item which I don't want and I don't want to have to pay for its return.

WW2 Bombers?
I ordered a Lancaster bomber from their WW2 Bombers collection and contacted them by phone and in writing to confirm I did not want to receive any more,as they promise you have no obligation to do so.Some weeks later,I received another model and rather than go through the hassle of returning it ,I payed for it by cheque and confirmed I wanted no more. This was in December 2015,I have just received a letter on Saturday 19th of August 2017 from CCS Collect debt recovery agency, demanding £23.48.I have checked my cheque book and sure enough, there on the stub of the cheque in question shows it was sent to Atlas on 11th December 2015.When looking on line to find their address,I was gobsmacked and furious to see just how many complaints about spurious requests for payment.I have contacted them and they have basically washed their hands of the matter saying CCS sent the letter so its them I need to deal with. How many more poor sods have been conned in this way?

Customer No 32069390
Customer No 32069390. I am very unsatisfied with my experience with this company who do not respond to messages or written correspondence. I am mad about robins and when I saw the advert for the robin I ordered it even though it was a winter scene. The robin arrived and I paid £1.99 by cheque. On or about the 26the June 2017 I contacted Atlas and requested them not to send any more of the birds. On the 28 June 2017 I messaged atlas via Facebook as I had received the Woodpecker and was advised that they had also sent out the Blue Tit on the 15 June 2017 (which the Post Office tried to deliver on or about the12 July 2017 nearly 1 month later and I refused delivery, they said the would return it to sender). My last correspondence via Facebook on the 29 July 2017 was not replied to. I therefore contacted CAB who are well aware of this company and I was advised to send a letter Ref:- Consumer Protection from unfair trading regulations 2008, to which I was supplied with a template which was composed and sent via recorded delivery on the 7 July 2017 to which I have received no response whatsoever. However on the 25 July 2017 I received a first reminder dated 21 July 2017 for an Item that I did not request. In the past I ordered an Eddie Stobart truck for my daughter and that was it, no similar problems as I am having from ordering the Robin. Time they got there affairs in order and taught the right hand to know what the left hand is doing and reply to messages and correspondence. All I request is a returns label I originally requested for the Woodpecker and my account clearing as the Post office has already returned the Blue tit.

I don't wish to give these thiefs any stars but have to so as to say my piece! I am disgusted beyond belief at these rip off merchants who are invading my home and trying to rob me!!! I bought 1 item months ago, BIG MISTAKE!! they started sending me their rubbish and an invoice with it! I never asked them to send me stuff, I don't want their crap items! I emailed and told them in no uncertain terms to stop hassling me,,,,, they sent another one!! I warned them I would take legal action if they continued with this behaviour, they finally acknowledged this and said I wouldn't hear any more!?! I had returned both items unopened and immediately! I have now received a bill!! I am so angry at this deplorable behaviour!! They need taking out big time! People go to jail for theft and harassment don't they??
