Apcoa is the worst parking app I have ever used. I would give it ZERO stars if I could.

I am sure that the Apcoa app is designed to lead people into a situation where they accidentally make mistakes and end up getting a PCN. I expected to enter the car park, thus have my registration recorded, then when I leave , sign out and pay. No can’t do that. Ok, I can late pay when I get home, but that option is not on the app, only on the website. The whole parking experience since removing the on site pay machines is an absolute nightmare with no clear instructions. Apcoa could learn a lot from Ring go which is the simplest parking app I use.

Awful

Awful! Doesn’t work - unreliable and totally useless. Should not be allowed to time waste. Remove all signage from car parks and stop misleading people.

Avoid irish rail parkjng app. Donabate dart station

Parked at the Donabate dart station. Not clear how to pay for parking. One option displayed was to download Apcoa app.

Took several attempts to download app and I wasn't happy with the payment side of the app.

Wasnt sure if parking paid as received no email confirmation so paid again in Dart station.

Contacted by PTSB VISA fraud squad yester to say fraudulent activity on our account resulting from Apcoa app and 36e take, HITSSITE.C. Had to cancel visa card.

Pick the right car , pick the right location …Obvs

I park every day in a station car park…always pay on the app..smooth and easy if there is a signal. I appealed a fine I got as had selected Whyteleafe South Station instead of Whyteleafe Station in the app and paid the parking charge. I selected from the ‘nearest parking’ tab not realising this was a station a mile or so away (the other 2 listed were not Whyteleafe but Upper Warlingham and Woldingham)…my fault just saw Whyteleafe .Don’t see why I should be fined for a simple error which was a function of their App. The appeal was rejected. Can’t be bothered to appeal again and this is just a vent about injustice and Apco not being fair and reasonable…

Dont use this company - scam!

Parked in metered area iN OXFORD - said on meter to use Apcoa , Ringo and 2 others. Paid through Apcoa app - did not ask for location no on meter nor my reg number or how long i wanted to stay. Went straight to payment details - on minutes to get to a hospital appt so did. Checked my online bank as soon as got home - payment of £3 taken paid to Streambroom.com in Nicosia. Called my bank and stopped and replaced my card as feared more payments would be put through - the bank said this is a regular occurrence sadly - stickers on the meters and fake websites. Dont fall for it!

Just spent 2 hours trying to pay a parking fine. Its a flashy site that just runs you around in circles even after you have used the chat line in an attempt to pay. Of course no phone number either. I am not thick , the site is designed to confuse from which they make more money

SCAM!

Awful company... parked at one of their var parks yesterday ... only realised, after entering the car park, that it's a 'pay by app' site - which I normally avoid like the plague. Still, I needed to park, so went over to the notice and read the instructions: 'Download our app," it said, and next to that, a qr code. The code is placed at 2.7 metres from the ground. Silly me - I'd forgotten to bring a stepladder with me - so downloaded their apcoa connect app, which was almost certainly programmed by the same idiot who'd fixed the notices and qr code. What an absolute FARCE! Was told I'd be sent a four digit code... nothing arrived. Pressed resend - THREE TIMES. After five minutes, all three arrived. Inputted the final one and proceeded. Wanted to know where I was - typed in the location. "No locations found at xxx" Guessed, and I (think) got it right. Went through the process of filling in my details, car details, bank card details - used an account in which I keep very little money, thankfully, (because it wouldn't accept credit card details, which rang alarm bells immediately.) Finally had it all registered, then was given the options: 1 hour, 2 hours or SIX hours - for £12.50. Had no choice but to buy six. Bought six, asked by my banking app to approve it, which I did, and received a confirmation. Checked my bank account - nothing pending. After reading the reviews, I'm fully expecting to be hit with a £50 'fine' (theft is a more accurate description.) I've seen other reviews that state this company operates on the fringe of the law. I'll be more succinct: they're CROOKS.

More interested in intimidating and fining than providing a service

Sadly a company far more interested in collecting fines than providing any sort of service. Today we tried to park with a disabled badge at Loughborough Uni. Dreadful signage. You can't simply park but need to upload photos of your disabled badge. Easier from a computer but I couldn't get it to work from my mobile. Frankly these folks are working at the very edge of the law and need taking down. Having had dealings with them in the past I'd be inclined to just drive away from anywhere APCOA are involved and tell the land owner/shop you won't be visiting until they get rid of these Cowboys.

Awful website

Awful website - would drive you insane!! Had to call them - 20 mins waiting to ask had my payment gone through. Over an hour of my time wasted trying to resolve. Why are Irish Rail using this appalling Apcoa App?

Impossible to Register

I am still trying to register via the APCOA App. When I first entered my details, in duplicate, it sent a four digit code to my mobile. I received a message saying code incorrect. It wasn’t but I requested resend. A second code arrived which also triggered an incorrect message. Since then every attempt to get another code triggers a message ‘More than three SMS messages requested in the past thirty minutes’. I left it twelve hours and still got the same message. I tried using the online chat who asked me to enter the original code. Incorrect code. They then suggested I wait for several hours and try again. That is where I am stuck now. I have tried to speak to an agent but no success after waiting thirty minutes. I will leave it 24 hours and try again. I tried deleting the App and starting again but my details are still there so it made no difference.

If I could give a ZERO STAR rating, I would

I have a parking subscription with Apcoa for P1 and P2 2300. I have had this for 3 years. All payments are up to date and I recently got an email confirming that. Today I found two parking tickets of 1300kr each on my car. On the tickets (issued by Europark) it says you MUST pay within 5 days and there is no telefon number. You can file a Complaint on a website. My subscription is with Apcoa. The ticket is issued from Europark. I call Apcoa and they tell me my parking subscription is valid and they cannot understand why I got the tickets then tell me to fill out the form. Why can't they cancel the tickets right then snd there?? I tell them I do not want to risk not paying within the 5 days and being issued an extra fee, (even though that would be unjust) then they tell me that if you start by complaining on the form, your case and payment deadline will be suspended until your case is resolved. This is not stated on the ticket. To reach someone on the phone also took 20 minutes. Once before I had an issue where my bank cancelled the credit card which automatically pays my Apcoa subscription. I could see my abonnement was due to be paid the next day, so I called Apcoa, trying to avoid an issue and requesting to pay by phone. They did not allow that and no one could help me, nor could I purchase a new abonnement until the last one ran out. So I scheduled to purchase my new abonnement the next day, when the old one ran out and in the few minutes that elapsed between when the abonnement ended and when the new one began, I got a ticket. Then when I signed up for the new abonnement my old subscription fee was not honored and I had to pay 30% more per month. Apcoa and Europark are terrible to deal with becuse you do not have people that have the authority to help you on the phone even if they understand that yourcase is legitimate. And it is very hard to reach a person in the first place. In addition, it is unclear how Europark and Apcoa are related but separate and Europark does NOT have. Phone number. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Pure fraud

I wanted to give 0 stars if I could.
I was charged at Luton Airport in begining of March for stopping less than a minute asking for help from one of the workers there. They even refused my appeal. Obviously they do everything to gain money back, as now they are losing vast amount on the parking tickets. Official complaint have been made. What a scumbag company. Avoid it any time when possible.
