I have been with Animal Friends for about 7 years now and since joining one of my dogs developed diabetes. Animal friends have been fantastic and claims for the ongoing condition are processed and paid very fast. I would highly recommend animal friends to anyone.

Unfortunately I've had to make a claim …
Unfortunately I've had to make a claim recently for my cat Ronnie after he was attacked and quite badly injured. Animal Friends have been amazing, keeping me up to date with the ongoing claim and paying the vet so quickly. I can't fault them for their service and very reasonable cover price. I highly recommend them, especially if you have multiple pets like I do. Thank you so much for being there when we needed you.

Make sure you read and ask questions as don’t pay out for everything. Very disappointing and worst insurers I have used for a pet.

Would give zero stars if the option was…
Would give zero stars if the option was there. Disgustingly high increases year on year to the point I had to cancell the policy. Even received a phone call after first claim to say "we can't cover your dog because she is a mongrel" Disgusting. She is a cross breed.

Your premium is reviewed each year and can change based on factors such as your pet's age, any claims made, and the increasing cost of vet treatment. As you have made claims, this is a factor considered as this may increase the chance of future claims. Your renewal price will reflect the increase in risk.
Upon looking into your details, I can see when we received the first claim your policy stated your dog was a small crossbreed, when we received the full clinical history from the vets, they had your dog registered as a Pug cross Chihuahua. As there was a discrepancy we needed additional information from yourself, the vets updated their records, we were able to update your details and finalise the claim. We have provided cover ever since.

Fast payment, easy to claim. my only concern its the cost of the presciption drugs charged by the vets are above the registered price rapidly using up my insurance limit.
