I cannot believe it’s one year since she facilitated my new phone hearing aids and I had a message recently calling me in for an annual review, as always I was warmly welcomed by your receptionist Edward with a coffee and biscuits and LUIGINA came out to welcome me and invite me into her clinic room.
After going through a series of routine tests including in a new soundproof cabinet, I was delighted to be told that my hearing has remained reasonably stable, LUIGINA updated and calibrated my hearing aids and she invited me in the next day when she had adequate time to demonstrate the new MIC I have bought for my wife to wear clipped onto her clothes which is a wonderful addition to the support I received from Amplifon. As always, and I mean always, LUIGINA was patient and understanding of my needs, she sees me as a person not as a “patient/client/customer “and her professionalism is enhanced by her human approach. Being able to access the fantastic service in Amplifon Exeter is a blessing and I’m constantly telling friends in my peer group that they should look no further than amplifier Exeter if they need safe and trustworthy input from someone who is completely trustworthy and committed to giving the very best support and care and who understands the problems, emotional, practical, social and domestic of hearing impairment. This is a review of customer service alone, not a review of any of the branch audiologists who do a good job. I bought inner hearing aids over 4 years ago costing £3000, so they are now out of the guarantee. Recently one of my aids stopped working properly so I took it in for repair. The repair took 3 weeks at a cost of £118. However, I went to collect the aid it was making a loud banging noise, the audiologist said it hadn't been checked properly at the repair factory before sending back. The aid had to be returned yet again for repair taking another 3 weeks! Amplifon make enormous profits from the manufacture of these aids & are servicing people with hearing loss so they supposedly should understand & empathise with how their customers struggle without their aids. I was offered no help or support with dealing with the loss of one of my aids for 6 weeks! I was not offered any other alternative lone of any aids in the meantime I also did not receive any apologies or contact from the company. I phoned customer service to complain about this problem which was caused by Amplifon & greatly impeded my every day life & spoke to a young man who clearly did not know how to deal with a very angry customer which resulted in him disconnecting the call. I emailed head office with a formal complaint & got a reply saying they were happy with the way their operator had dealt with my call & also happy with their customer service, again I was not offered any kind of apology for the delay due to their inability to properly repair the hearing aid which caused the excessive wait of 6 weeks! I expected a gesture towards the cost of the repair because of the inconvenience caused me but I have had nothing! Amplifon's customer service & lack of support in this instance has been totally unacceptable. They seem to only be interested if you are spending money with them buying new aids.

Lisa at your Stockport branch did a hearing test very thoroughly, the like of which I have never had by Amplify Hearing. Their so-called audiologist Matt Kearon has never done a hearing test of that thoroughness on me. And he only appears at the SeeHear opticians in Meltham every two weeks on a Monday which is of no use to me. I feel I am getting proper care from Amplifon.

Felt that I had none the lady doing my test all my life such a lovely person and omg did she know her stuff xx I will never go anywhere else ever. I have no issues with the service I received in Sheffield, it was excellent
However, I have moved to a different audiologist and I have let amolifon know. I still receive constant phone calls from sales people trying to book me appointments, each time I tell them I'm not interested and to remove me from their list yet I still receive calls. Further more these calls are from random mobile phone numbers which makes me question how my personal data is being held if random sales people are calling me from their mobiles as opposed to a call centre.

I normally only post positive reviews but my experience yesterday has to be reported. I had been offered and I had accepted a free hearing check. Unfortunately I could not make the appointment and phoned to postpone. The bad tempered and officious lady who took my call demanded to know why I couldn't attend. I laughingly told her that it was none of her business whereupon she called me rude, cancelled my appointment and cut me off whilst I was trying to just change the date. She must have been having a bad day but that's no excuse.

I have been a very satisfied customer for many years with Amplifon service, but recently had several appointments at one particular branch and had become increasingly dissatisfied with the service that the audiologist offered.
I was about to give up and seek out another hearing company but as I was in London I decided to give Amplifon one more try. I was given an appointment the following week (that was a surprise as normally it is a long waiting game) My appointment was with a Marco Sasso in Kensington. What a difference in attitude and determination to sort out the problem.
He was skilled, patient and understanding and to my immense relief sorted out the wax problem that had dogged me for months. Many thanks Marco !
