Disappointed
Had two items valued and spot on, recently had another item valued and it was totally under valued. Spoke to them about it and they told us they had no experience with the stone on the ring and had looked at a colour chart and guessed. They should of said they could not value the item and not taken my money rather than guess, they gave info on valuation for the ring and diamonds but nothing on the main stone except the colour and size. I wanted confirmation of grade of the stone, they said the stone does not get graded, it only takes a minute on the internet and they will see that it does and the grade greatly affects the value of it, so if this isn’t looked at then you can’t value the stone, had it done somewhere else and the they had knowledge of the stone and gave correct info and value. Disappointed in this service, they should not of taken money to give a guess valuation.
