Amazon customers be aware
i bought 2 bottles of Percil 160 washes from Amazon
i got the Delivery on saturday opened the case and found 2 bottles of percil 90 washes
so i got in touch with the seller, the seller did not say what he was sorry,
just said he can have the goods picked up
and refund my money
i was not happy with this so i rang Amazon customer service and spoke to a manager in India by the name of Prem and told him that a seller of Amazon is advertising 160 watches of persil ,and delivering 90 washes of persil
i told him this seller is cheating the British public
but it all fell on Deaf ears.
the only thing that matters was keep the stuff or send it back ,
so it’s going back to the seller
i was offered no compensation
this is the second time this has happened to me
Amazon customer be aware you will not get any help from amazon
When they're at fault......you have NO CHANCE!
Amazon caused in excess of £4K damage to my property when they delivered a fridge/freezer. I have been asking since Apr 2025 for the signed proof of delivery as their insurance company rejected the claim. I signed the note on a telephone and it clearly shows the delivery "team" caused damage. Endless telephone calls have been ignored, a letter to London HO was ignored, endless, so called "executives" ignored me and even emails to MD office and Bezos were completely IGNORED. USE THEM AT YOUR PERIL!
So convenient
As a someone who loves books, Amazon is my go to choice, because I can always find what I am looking for: whether a specific title, author or general search on a subject. I've also bought a lot of things for my home from Amazon, because there is so much choice, the user reviews are very helpful and I know that, on the rate occasions when I have wanted to return something and get a refund, that it is quick and easy to do so. With several banks of Amazon lockers nearby and in store collection points, I don't even need to be home for deliveries.
Promised a refund of my Amazon Prime…
Promised a refund of my Amazon Prime membership, but it has never arrived. I can only assume that they deliberately lied. Not great for a company's reputation (such as it is).
Absolutely disgusting company and they…
Absolutely disgusting company and they really need to be closed down.
Amazon need to be governed by a company, because they should not legally be able to get away with what they do.
I ordered a washing line which was broken. I used the online chat to speak to somebody, and they told me sorry, they would just sent out a free replacement. Weeks later Amazon tell me they’re charging me double, for both of the washing lines, even though the second one was a free replacement - the clue is in the name, Amazon! It was supposed to be a free replacement and nobody told me to return the broken one. I only know about the return because there’s an open return sat on my account for some reason? It says I need to return it to an Asda store and I don’t even have an Asda store within a 10 mile radius of me!? Had somebody told me I needed to return it at the time, obviously I would’ve done.
A couple of weeks later, I then received a medical product that was completely smashed and part of the product was missing deeming it completely unusable and useless. I contacted them about this and I showed them photos of the packaging, and I explained the key part of the product was actually missing. I was told I’d get a refund for this and I still haven’t. It took me absolutely ages to explain this to somebody, despite me talking in plain English. It’s so infuriating.
Later, I receive an email saying there’s a violation on my account and I’ve been racist or some nonsense. I think you’ll find, Amazon, that’s actually slander and I haven’t been racist at all. After trying to explain issues to somebody for nearly 2 hours, I think stating you’re talking plain English and if they cannot understand because of the language barrier, they’ll need to put me through to somebody else, is completely reasonable.
You’re breaking the law left, right and centre and don’t worry, I will be sorting this out. It’s slander and fraud.
Amazon cancels orders for higher price
So amazon thinks it's exceptable to list an item at one price you order it for prime del next day for amazon to then cancel the order and expect me to then pay 5 pound more for the same item on a 3 day delivery i am wondering what i am paying for with prime very poor practice.
SPOTRAVEL (Amazon Vendor)
They are a SCAM company selling on Amazon. Please be cautious if you buy through this vendor.

What has happened to Amazon
What has happened to Amazon? Once known for great customer service, reliable next day delivery and perfectly convenient.
Now it's constant missed delivery times, terrible communication and a customer service team that lies or disconnects because they are, I can only assume, wholly incompetent.
Convenience has now become inconvenience, hassle and wasted energy.
Amazon SPL delivery driver
Amazon SPL delivery driver. Chap said he worked for a delivery company that worked on behalf of amazon.Had a delivery from man called Alex with dark hair. Spoke excellent English and sounded like English wasn't his first language.
He arrived at my house in Chard, Somerset. He noticed that I had left my keys in the front door. So he phoned my up and said he could wait outside. So I could come back to my house as I was at the local park less than 5 mins away. To protect my keys so nobody would take them.
When i arrived he hadnt moved them from the door. But I was so relieved and thankful. Thanku for going above and beyond. Alex didnt deliver the package in my door. As it was only suitable for 18 plus. As it was vape stuff. Thank -You Alex.

I tried contacted customer service, NUMEROUS times to ask why my account was on hold. She referred me to her 'specialst team.' Said someone had tried to make orders!
They sent me an email to log into my account.
I CANT LOG INTO MY ACCOUNT AS ITS STILL ON HOLD SO HOW DO I ACCESS MY ACCOUNT!
I'm exasperated with them. Terrible customer service, they don't listen to what you say as in, I can't access my account cos it's on hold. Its not rocket science.
Will never use Amazon ever again. Terrible
This company has gone downhill rapidly…
This company has gone downhill rapidly over the past few years. I honestly dont see the benefits of being a 'Prime' member now. You pay for a service they fail to deliver. Items promised next day...turn up days later, as Amazon uses other couriers as well now, who seem deliver to their own timetable! No one is ever held accountable for these late deliveries. Amazon tracking itself is terrible...it can change numerous times a day...often not turning up at all. I see a lot overpriced goods also, with sellers charging up to 4 times the price of an item, that you pay for in a physical shop. I personally was sold a fake item a few weeks ago. It took me 2 weeks to finally get a refund, after having gone through numerous incompetent and rude customer service staff...that promised to refund me right away...but didnt! I reported the fake listing also, and over a month later...it is STILL being sold! This is anything but hassle free online shopping. Its just one issue after another with this company! Avoid!
Incorrect delivery times
For quite a while now I have noticed the minute I’ve ordered the given times move back substantially! Not ok not happy with it at all as after all I order relying on provided dates. Also several times prices went up once in my basket and not checked out right away much more frequent than other way round. Also not happy with the constant attempts to sign one up for prime.
Getting Worse Every Day
I've been an Amazon customer for over 20 years. They used to be pretty good - not now! Packages late. Packages dumped on doorstep without knocking or ringing bell. Packages Lost. Incomplete items stuffed in envelopes at the warehouse (obviously wrong). And I pay a Prime subscription for this garbage - not for much longer at this rate. Do yourself a favour and look for alternative UK suppliers and support them instead.
If Next can provide next day delivery…
If Next can provide next day delivery for £24 a YEAR why does Amazon charge almost £108 for the same service?
I had a delivery a week or two ago but I requested that the item was returned because I'd spoken to the company and agreed it.
The driver- I think he was Italian- a middle aged guy - stood shouting at me on my own doorstep! He hadn't even brought the item - a treadmill- to the door! It was still on his van! He was just downright idle! I reported his outrageous behaviour to Amazon and said I never wanted him to deliver to me again which they agreed to but the following week the very same guy appeared AGAIN!
Amazon Gift Card scam - Be aware. Buy at your own risk.
I recently purchased an Amazon Gift card from the Tesco Extra at Whitfield, Dover, and have been scammed. We have shopped there for close to 20 years. I've similarly shopped on Amazon for a long, long time. As a valued customer, I thought that perhaps I would receive assistance if I ever encountered an issue. A while back in April 2025, my daughter purchased a £25 Amazon gift card for me, only to get home to find we could not activate it. Tesco's washed their hands of it, and Amazon said we needed to get our money back from Tesco. We lost £25 and though it caused a lot of heartbreak (it was a gift from my young daughter), we got over it as anyone would. A life lesson. Now recently, I purchased a £50 Amazon gift card thinking the last episode was a once off. I returned home and could not activate the card. Why, because on opening it I discovered there was no number to be activated. It had been carefully removed and the card somehow sealed back up. I have the receipts, everything. I sent them photos and still have received no help from them despite being promised it would be dealt with. Well, they did deal with it, they in fact have punished me for trusting in them and their business ethics. Once again, Amazon are washing their hands of it and Tesco's are not interested. I've now lost another £50. This has caused severe us anxiety. We're hard working, older folk and money is hard to come by these days. We're now moving our shop to another few retailers close by and considering how much further I can escalate this in the media and elsewhere about Amazon. My advice is to be careful at the Dover Tesco and anywhere you purchase Amazon Gift cards. This type of scam lives in a grey area and there is no doubt in my mind you WILL lose your money there. No-one there is interested in helping you. This says a lot about their care for loyal customers.

I had a package delivered today and I have a doorbell camera he didn't even ring the bell just laid it down and went off that is why packaging get stolen disgusting service from Amazon driver
We ordered a new battery for our Moto…
We ordered a new battery for our Moto G4+ mobile phone from Amazon. It said it was coming from Ellenne and would be delivered at our temporary address in Falmouth on Saturday 8 August. Late on Saturday when I tracked the delivery, the website stated that it was delayed and would be delivered before Wednesday 12 August, although the tracking clearly indicated that the article had arrived with DPD for delivery. Unacceptable delay announced way too late.

Underhanded tactics
Underhanded tactics - I subscribe to a few amazon products (prime, music, kids). It's a buisness so I personally do not hold it against them when they raise subscription prices because lets face it we can vote with our feet. What I cannot support is tricking customers to pay more. So, I was shopping around due to the upcoming kids plus price increase and I stumbled across threads discussing how amazon raises prices depending on your cookies, so likleyhood of paying £200 for a product that would normally cost £180 or the fact that they raise prices before black friday or even set prices depending on post code. I put it to the test and I used a VPN on my phone along with incognito mode so effectively as far as the amazon website are concerned I have never shopped there before. I found an amazon kids tablet for £160. I turned the VPN of along with incognito mode and what do you know, the price for the same tablet was £200. Defo underhanded. I challenge anyone reading this to do the same and make your own mind up as to whether amazon are being underhanded with loyal customers. My 3 stars is based on me being happy with the product but disatisfied with how they treat customers.
