VERY DISAPPOINTING RETURN POLICY.
AliExpress says that they offer free returns, but when you actually want to return something , they do not make it easy and do not allow you to return the item as advertised. This is very misleading and disappointing. I would not recommend buying from a company that does not honour its own return policy.

NEVER NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!
Okay what they sell is obviously mostly trash. I bought some items, which were much different from their pictures, so I requested to return. BUT they said I have to pay 3 euros PER ITEM to return it and everything must be sent separately using their assigned QR codes. No, obviously I won't pay that money. I wrote a lot with their AI bots and said that they actually promise free return but asking 3 euros is unfair but I just received AI messages... I requested again but they said I CANNOT return an item because the reason I gave was not good enough (I chose I want to return because the quality is not as expected). But according to German laws, I have a 14-day window to return an item without explanation. They are obviously breaking the law by not allowing the customers to return. They should just be banned.

I purchased the 4 pack of 6Ah Makita batteries for $110
They arrived in about three weeks and looked, in every way, to be genuine, However, they seemed to weigh less than some genuine batteries I already owned.
On further investigation they weighed about 20% less than the genuine product and do not hold a charge.
I complained to AliExpress and they agreed to refund half my purchase price AND send me 4 genuine replacements. They refunded just 1 cent and did not send any replacements, despite telling me they were in the post and to be patient. 7 weeks later they are now saying I am not getting my refund and that the supplier is no longer trading, despite the products still be widely available on their website.
DON'T deal with these guys as the products are NOT genuine. Yes, I was a fool for believing that they would be for that price.

Avoid like the plague faulty item returned but will not pay full refund and it takes way too long in the first place...I bought boot liner fir car that was stained and poorly finished and they agreed full refund but never actually paid it they took money off for return. Be very wary of this company

I recently made a purchase through Aliexpress, as I always do, but unfortunately this time the products arrived completely damaged and unusable due to poor packaging by the seller.
When I contacted Aliexpress to resolve the problem, they only refunded me 10% of the amount paid, meaning I lost my money.
In short, I trusted Aliexpress and this time I was left without money and without the product.
Avoid buying from Aliexpress; if something goes wrong, they will go against the buyer, always protecting dishonest sellers.
To make matters worse, I requested the cancellation and closure of my Aliexpress account, which was denied.
I am here now to report my case so that the same thing does not happen to other people.
I also want to emphasize to Aliexpress that for 50 SEK, you lost a customer who spent much more than that per month.
Aliexpress, please cancel my account and delete it!

I ordered a dress to be made from a company called Fatapaese. I said all along for the dress to be made out of crepe. I said this right from the beginning the dress was to be Crepe and beaded lace.
I got imitation silk and plain lace.
Not once was imitation silk even mentioned.
The first dress they lied to me about it saying it had been made and shipped. That was a lie. They admitted they should have told me the truth.
So I sent the specifications of the picture which always said crepe and beaded lace.
There were no live videos and photos of the making of the dress.
They showed me a picture right at the end and I had no idea it was not crepe and beaded lace.
I have the whole transcript from beginning to end. I only ever mentioned crepe and beaded lace. The picture was shown and shipped at the same time. I said to them I only want the dress if it's in crepe and beaded lace. They led me to believe this was what I was getting. Not once did imitation silk get mentioned.
It was only when I received the dress I knew the material was incorrect.
So I opened a dispute saying item not as ordered.
Ali Express did not care. Although I provided all the transcript that said a crepe dress and beaded lace they did not care and ruled in favour of the seller.
$277 it cost me for a dress I did not order in the material they made it in.
PayPal did not want to know either because they don't cover customised dresses. Although the item was not as described.
Don't trust the sellers or Ali Express. They do as they please and there is no protection for the buyer.
This was a dress for my daughter's wedding.
I had already had 2 other dresses made by another company that were the wrong size and they got away with that too. They were Charmant Wedding Stire Don't trust them. They can make inferior products and get away with it.i paid over $600 for nothing. I cannot wear any of the dresses because they were made incorrectly. Ali Express say this is ok.
Pay more and go local.
Hi Ali Express.

The seller is just rude! And he’s sympathizing with my bad experience! I haven’t encountered anything like this in a long time. You only see this with inexperienced sellers or scammers!
How much information can be transmitted? Two months of negotiations, AliExpress played the role of a benefactor, but the seller did not sell the product, but pushed it (he applied a vague and concrete description of the product, but an expanded one, and after the order and payment, the initial description of the product changed to another, as in a fairy tale!). It's not decent!
When returning the goods from Lithuania, the Chinese customs stopped the Chinese returned goods without explanation. AliExpress does nothing to release and refund the money for the goods. So AliExpress feeds the goods to the Chinese customs, probably they do not have enough salary!
Such cheap and two-faced people simply need to be avoided! The laws here are only in concepts, not in action.

I purchased a hair brush through AliExpress and unfortunately received a defective product.
I understand that manufacturing defects can happen with any company. My disappointment is not with the defect itself, but with how AliExpress handles these situations.
The only solutions offered were:
accept a small partial refund and keep a defective product; or
package the item myself, travel to a post office, and complete the entire return process in order to receive a full refund.
The issue is not the product's value (around US$10). The issue is the principle.
As a good-faith customer, I fulfilled my part of the contract: I selected the product, paid for it, and waited for delivery. The defective product was entirely the seller's responsibility. Nevertheless, AliExpress transferred the burden of solving the problem to me, requiring me to spend my own time and effort on a return process that I never agreed to when I made the purchase.
When everything goes well, delivery is made to my home. When something goes wrong because of the supplier, I'm expected to become part of their reverse logistics operation.
I find this policy unfair and contrary to what good customer service should look like. I expected AliExpress to take responsibility for resolving a problem it caused, instead of transferring the inconvenience to the customer.
I hope the company reviews this policy and adopts a more customer-friendly approach in cases where defective products are delivered.

WORST refund process. I bought 2 identical pairs of shoes, just in different sizes. Neither fit and had to be returned. Even though both pairs arrived to me TOGETHER, AliExpress made me return them separately (even though I began the return process at the same time). I chatted with AA to express my concerns that separating the two pairs of shoes might cause return delivery issues, especially since AA had me return one pair via Fed Ex and the other pair via USPS. My concerns turned out to be valid. One return pair of shoes was received by AA and they refunded me. However, AA claimed they did not receive the other pair. Like I said, they should not have been returned separately since I received them together originally. I had ample documentation from USPS stating that the items was delivered to the Linwood, NJ post office AND that the item was actually picked up by an individual. As directed by AA, I even had my USPS receipt stamped with the USPS official seal and signed by USPS staff. I had at least 3 disputes over this and at least 3 trips to USPS. I sent AA reasonable proof that the item was in fact returned to the post office AND picked up by an individual. It was not good enough for AA to refund me a crummy $11.82! The would NOT have happened if AA permitted me to return both pairs together, just like they were delivered to me originally. I have had to return many things over the years to Temu, Shein, Walmart, Amazon, Etsy, and Ebay and I have never dealt with such impossible requests. Although the AliExpress chat teams have been professional and empathetic, I felt like they "yessssed" me to death, but did nothing. I deactivated my AliExpress account and will NEVER do business with AA again.
---------------------------------------------------------
Here is the reply I got from AliExpress"
"based on the screenshots of evidence you uploaded in the dispute, we found that you may not have used the platform-provided waybill 9202090401709701502909 for the return, but instead used waybill 9202090401709701496215 from another order (this waybill is associated with the main order number 8211603905177177). Although the return addresses for both orders are the same, due to the cross-use of waybills for multiple sub-orders, the system failed to accurately identify that this sub-order had been returned and therefore could not process the refund."
So, in other words, I may not have used the platform provided waybill? I used the shipping label provided by AA. AA directed me to SEPARATE the two pairs of shoes that upon original delivery to my home, were delivered TOGETHER. See below to find out what Ali-Express wants me to do next:
"To help us better verify this, please provide the waybill information and proof of the package weight for the returned package. Providing a video of the packing process for your returned package will greatly help us process your refund request more quickly. Please provide an unedited, single-take video showing the entire process of placing the items from Order A and Order B into the same package, sealing the box, and attaching the labels."
I never made a packing video for a cheap pair of shoes and they know it! Like I said before, they make it nearly Impossible to get a refund. I'm done! Thank you everyone for listening.

Never mind. I have already found the function in the app, but there is no free return shipping available, even though it was heavily promised. My order is not worth paying the return shipping costs at all.
However, you are clearly misleading your customers, and I do not intend to order anything from your website again.
Thanks for nothing.

An email notifies me that my item, which came from Germany, was delivered to me, but I never received it. The courier tells me it was delivered to a different person, at a different address, but the tracking code is the same. It's practically impossible to find a way to communicate directly with AliExpress—unless you speak perfect Russian, Spanish, or English—or to send a direct message explaining what happened. Everything happens automatically. I will never buy from this platform again.

I’ve been going in circles with AliExpress support for over a month now, and I’m writing this because at this point nothing else has worked.
The short version: I returned an item and paid for the return shipping myself, on the express understanding that it would be refunded. That wasn’t me assuming anything. Before the package even reached the seller, support told me in chat to keep the proof of payment because the shipping would be refunded once the return was complete. The return form in the app said the same. And the shipping cost was almost as much as the item itself, so if anyone had told me it was on me, I’d never have sent it back. It wouldn’t have been worth it.
Then it just became a wall.
July 7, they confirmed in writing: the shipping fee would be refunded based on the receipt. July 8, I sent the receipt, and there’s a logged reply on their side proving it. July 9, they closed the case saying they never got a valid response. That’s simply not true, and their own system shows it.
After that their escalation team offered a coupon as the refund format, and confirmed it twice, once on July 14. Issued within 1 to 5 business days if I replied within 24 hours. I replied on July 15, inside their own deadline. The coupon never showed up in my account. Not once. What I got instead was another email telling me no refund was possible at all.
So they promised, ignored my reply, closed the case for “silence,” then offered a coupon themselves, I accepted, and now it’s suddenly impossible. Every step of that is documented in their own emails.
What actually gets me isn’t even the money. It’s the lying. Different agents, same recycled lines, and a written promise from their own senior team that they’re now pretending never happened. A month of that.
If you’re reading this while deciding whether to buy from them: keep every screenshot, don’t trust a verbal or chat promise, and know that “we’ll refund it” can quietly turn into “policy says no” the moment the item’s back with the seller.
I still just want the coupon they already promised me in writing. That’s all.

3 different orders
1) Fabric- advertised as silk- received, very pretty but definitely synthetic.
2) piece of furniture- measured against dimensions provided, very specific- received item a different larger size, it wouldnt fit in the space. Returned, after unimpressive interactions w the resolutions process, got refund but not for $40 postage i paid.
3) skincare product, again, a favorite product, received wrong product- same brand just not what i ordered- they are still advertising the correct one. I dont want a refund, i dont want to send it back to get ripped off for postage, want what I ordered!!! The Chat is next to useless, lots of words and promises, not backed up by actual process, repeat yourself endlessly, get sent a label I have to go to Officeworks to print off, go to post office.

I get an email with a great offer log in and the price goes from £9.15 to£30.57 apart from that the last order was supposed to within seven days was over a month late , don't touch with a barge pole'
I can't reply with an order number because I never fell for the con , often things look like a good deal until you click on the link and the item shown in the offer doesn't exist, and again they say that I never cpmpleted a form that required an order number

This was a thoroughly unpleasant experience involving outright deception.
I bought a JBL speaker on AliExpress (order 3064127943454575) and received a crude counterfeit. The seller claimed it was the "Hong Kong version." I opened a dispute, and AliExpress ruled that I would get a refund upon returning the item. I shipped the item back at my own expense. Afterward, AliExpress changed its decision and demanded proof that the item was counterfeit—proof I no longer had, since I had already sent the speaker back. As a result, I was cheated out of both the cost of the speaker and the return shipping fees. To top it off, they completely removed the order and the associated correspondence from my purchase history.

I had high hopes for my latest order, but it fell short. The delivery took longer than expected, arriving almost two weeks late. Though the item was okay, the sizing was off, much smaller than described. I’m not sure if I’ll order again after this letdown.
