Alice Vandy Reviews 

Bought a few bodysuits a couple of years ago, before she started the my little pony and care-bear lines. Absolutely amazing quality and still going strong, even with lots of wear to festivals and all sorts.

These products are amazing quality and wonderfully unique and flattering. I really hope whatever happened for all these bad reviews doesn’t stop you continuing to make amazing clothes.

I bought a dress from Alice a few years back and absolutely loved it, not only were here designs unique and colourful but her customer service was very helpful and polite and delivery was earlier than expected.
Due to having children and only just fitting back into my dress I started to search the Web to see what else she had only to find out that she's no longer trading and the amount of negative reviews and straight up bullying towards her is shocking. I understand some people's frustration but people need to remember that she's still just a human with feelings, we all make mistakes and it's certainly not easy running a business.

Alice if you read this I hope you don't let that amazing talent go to waste. Don't let anyone ever darken your sparkle.

I wish I had seen/known about all this when I ordered some stuff from Alice Vandy in 2017. It never came, and strung me along for months saying she was opening an investigation ticked with the postal service on her end until it was too late for me to do anything about it via etsy or my bank--at which point, she refused to refund me directly as well. I tried for over a year to get my money back from her to no avail.

In response to alicevandy's reply: This was several years ago (trustpilot wouldn't let me select the correct date), at which point you absolutely did have an etsy shop. The only reason I'm leaving the review now is that I only just recently stumbled over an entire FB group for people who were scammed by your business and realized it was a generalized problem.

Anyway, at the time, I emailed you 46 times over the course of more than a year (not including etsy messages). Over the course of those emails, you claimed to be filing an investagation request with postal service, and dragged out updates on that past the deadline that I could ask for a resolution through etsy. After that, you kept BS-ing me about "technical difficulties" trying to send a refund (I doubt you even ever tried), before simply refusing to refund the order I never received. I've seen this same story from a lot of people, both in relation to your previous etsy shop and your website, so it absolutely was you. It seems to be your actual business model.

I bought a couple of dresses for my girlfriends birthday a while back and being the useless boyfriend that I am bought the wrong sizes. Alice couldn't have been nicer and more helpful with getting the right sizes to me in time for her birthday, she loved the dresses and I scored some big brownie points.

I am really sad to read these reviews as I've had such a good exeprience & I've been wearing my outfits for the past 8y with soooooooo much joy (my BF stole all my leggings cause they are just so great !!!) - I'm just dying to get a chance to get some more ... Starting a business and trying to sell quality in a world where price is all that matters is not an easy task and it can really turn sour when taking a wrong turn : I wonder how many of the critics have ever experienced starting something before writing "scamming" and why we people who had good experiences don't take more of a stance .. Good luck for whatever you try gain and start : i'll be one of your customers again

I was surprised to see the negative reviews on here so just wanted to add my experience. I previously ordered a bodysuit which I had no issues with, it arrived on time, was true to size and I felt great in it which is unusual for me!

I wanted to write a review and say that every item I've bought I've loved, thank you so much Alice, hope you bring out some new designs soon

I loved Alice Vandy clothing, I would do anything for her to be open again. The clothing was really high quality and the clothes I ordered years ago are still in better condition than the majority of my clothing. It fit like a glove and was stunning. Very unique talent, its a shame to hear things went wrong for her. I can only imagine it was quite distressing for herself and customers.

Update: Seller had a problem with her website domain hosting (or something along those lines), and lost all contact, orders, and payment information. We had been communicating infrequently 1-2 times a year, and as of today 2/28/23 a credit was issued.

Her website is literally a photo now. No customer service email. Still no credit for my $35 care bare top years later that I purchased way back in June of 2019 / Order #3616. replied asking me to contact her via this review site, but doesn't have an email listed or reply method. I've never received any replies from Alicevandy at hotmail co uk in regards to the purchase since the purchase date. Pretty sure I filed a BBB claim at the time in 2020, but since it's an overseas transaction no love there. TBH I really just want the matching top to my leggings still, but the odds of getting my order over 3 years later is slim to none. Alice if your reading this and genuinely want to credit me my email address is the same as listed in the original order. I have no way of confirming if you ever really did credit since I never received a confirmation email... So please provide a date and time and I can check my bank transactions. Lastly I have screen shots and emails copies of everything.

Oye. This lady gave me the run around for about 2 years, because I was hopeful she really was just in a runt and I wanted to be polite and give her time. She stole close to $200 from me and told me that the reviews on Trustpilot was just one woman making false accounts because she had a falling out with her. If we can all get together to sue her for our money back, I would love to be apart of that. The amount of money she must've stolen from people is bonkers and I would love to see her pay for her crimes.

**edit** $109 doll hairs. Extreme overestimate, my bad, been a while but I thought I should add to the reviews so others know not to do business. We had emails and IG messages back and forth for maybe a year? maybe 2? Not sure, always promised things where gonna get handled, Alice even offered to send additional items, but never came through. It has been a long time, but I've given up on retrieving any items or refunds. Just wanted to make sure others are aware of what they are getting into.

I had to report her to trading standards to get a refund... says it all really. Same as everyone else, I ordered the Apple jack bomber jacket. After 7 months of never receiving an Item (that was always on its way to me), I went to TS and forwarded all the emails and Whatsapp messages from her. I had ordered from her before and I always had to pester her to get items sent. I had always ordered well before any Items were needed, but I always got Items the day of the event...

I ordered maxi skirt, maxi dress and hoodie. Maxi dress came quickly but other items from the order were missing for months. I frequently asked her to send them to me and he always promised to send them, but never sent. Shipping always moved forward and forward. She even claimed that she had shipped the skirt, but for hoodie she was always waiting it to arrive and shipping immediately when she gets it.

After like 5 months I got enough (should have gotten so much earlier!) and contacted my credit card company telling them everything about this scamming incident. Fortunately the credit card company was able to refund my money back for items never received.

I hope that Alice Vandy will never make business again, she is so awful and annoying person!

Ordered 2 catsuits in a sample sale which never arrived. At first was told they'd oversold on one of the pieces so I'd be refunded for that one and still be sent the others. After waiting months and still not receiving that one I finally asked for a refund. Was constantly asked if my old bank details were still correct (always) and that the refund was being sent back that day....time and time again which is never did.
It's taken me over 2 years to get that refund with constant communication. They didn't ignore my emails, but always told me my money was being sent back which is never was. Only after I've threatened legal action have they sent me my refund. Disgusting.

Took over a year of false promises and lies, phone calls texts what's app and my husnand getting in involved and then threatening legal action against Alice to finally have a refund, the only way to get a refund if to threaten legal action her website is now shut so at least there me no new victims, I'm just sad I never got my care bears item and that this brilliant designer turned into what can only be seen as a scammer.

Order never arrived despite various false promises from Alice Vandy herself. Had to claim back through credit card, and she still tried to defend herself. I would not recommend. Poor customer service and lies.

Still so upset..... I ordered from this company almost 2 years ago now. I had loved Alice's stuff not only for the wicked designs but also for the fact that I wanted to support a fellow plymouth art college artist, so i saved up for months to buy an item for my birthday in September 2018! After waiting patiently I decided to contact Alice, she apologised and we chatted about being business owners and how difficult it can be, and then I was offered an extra item ontop of the one I had purchased which I thought was a lovely gesture. Again I waited for 3 months and received no items. Contact was then made with Alice again, but this time I asked for a refund and was told this would be sorted. I still have not received any refund. I'm so disappointed as I tried to be as human as possible about the situation. I empathised with Alice and gave words of advise and encouragement, we even chatted about our love for bengals so I thought I was chatting to a real person. Unfortunately I think money may have got the better of this one....

Scam artist who keeps trading, she’s ripped me off and also 3 friends! Took me a year to get my refund, after chasing her through all social media, tracking down her phone number. In the end my credit card company refunded me. She kept saying she posted items but no tracking number, and my items never arrived, then they where lost in her warehouse, so she would say she has resent, Liar Cheater, can’t believe she’s still trying to sell

Ordered a catsuit from her just after I’d had a baby. By the time the item shipped, the baby was 6 months old and the item no longer fitted as I’d lost my baby weight. Don’t buy from this website. The clothes are nice but the seller is very unreliable.

Pity there is no option for zero stars. This woman is a scam artist. I ordered trousers 7 months ago that were a sale item and marked for dispatch within 48 hours. I have never received anything from her, not my order nor the refund she has promised countless times is being processed. Every time I complain she just fobs me off with more lies.
Never waste your time or money ordering from this woman - you might as well burn your cash.
