The Akaso 7000 is a great camera which we have used without any issues for almost 3 years. The strap has finally given way so we will need to replace but other than that it’s been great value for under £70.
Akaso gone Downhill
I owned few Akaso Cameras, and they all have a poor audio, I recently had the 7Le and a V50 pro who stop working . Waterproof cases leaked , customer service are terrible, they say budget camera but it isn't anymore . Akaso have gone downhill and I wont buying cameras from them again
AKASO V50 Elite…
Have had this camera AKASO V50 Elite for just over 4 years and used around 15 times. Video quality was great but now find that I can't find a replacement battery.

I agree that their communication and customer service sucks!
The good thing about Amazon is paying by credit card as that way refund guaranteed if any funny stuff.
Akaso has been horrible to deal with in messages and their responses are very slow. I think this brand will fail if new management not considered by owners!

Very disappointed and don’t recommend anyone to buy Akaso product.
Bought two Akaso cameras through Amazon just before covid start, due to lock down I couldn’t put up until now, but both of the cameras are defective and doesn’t work. I have contact the company they said they would replace the cameras but they are out of stock and now basically telling me to forget about it because it unknown when it will be available again. Can’t understand a company unknowns their own product when will be available, just can’t believe them. Will challenge with Amazon too.
Deceitful Customer Service
I have bought two of their action. Cameras, both are fine apart from the waterproof case for the V50 pro losing one of its buttons. But the customer service is woefully bad. When I bought the cameras the paperwork told me that if I gave a good review and supplied proof that I had they would send me a ‘gift’ I could choose between an accessory pack or an Amazon gift card, well nothing came, so I contacted them many times about this, they even told me it had been sent and was on its way to me, this was untrue and I have now given upon this, it is a shame as the cameras are quite good but they have let themselves down by being deceitful.
LIES and DECEPTION from Akaso
Ordered the new Brave 7 as a loyal customer in the pre orders. Paid for 5-7 days delivery guaranteed. 38 days later and over 30 emails later, one thread is 23pages, still no camera and not 1 bit of assistance from a manager or any person who actually cared about the customer.
There are many customers in the same way with their orders, have email proof from other buyers getting exact same treatment.
Akaso is full of lies and deception.
High Quality and Great Value
This is a great little camera. Good resolution, easy to use for fishing and my son's sports activities. It came with an extra battery which is awesome and we got a few useful accessories in the bundle. I have had a hard time finding a chest mount and a head mount that I can use with this camera so it would be nice to have access to more useful accessories than the standard ones that came with the camera. I love the phone app and the remote control as well. Great value for the money.
Akaso Brave 7 LE Review. Sorry this is not my full review!! I will attempt to condense it into the availible space!!!
Akaso Brave 7 LE Review.
Ps. I have paid for this item with my own money and I have not received any incentives from Akaso for this review, this is my opinion and should be taken as such.
Now for the review! (And no I am not a rep of Akaso I just think they have exceptionally cheap products which outperform cameras 3 times the cost they charge for their own units!)
Ok, so I have been using a great deal of action cameras for quite a long time now, I have used many GoPro units, a DJI and others however this is my review of the latest iteration from Akaso and why you should at least consider this as an option if you are in the market for a camera that will not let you down and a customer service team second to none.
I started using Akaso cameras along with my GoPro units around the time Akaso released what was their earlier models, I was in need of a cheap camera that I could go diving with and if it was lost would not cost me hundreds to replace so I purchased the Akaso EK7000.
I was amazed by this unit and ever since then I have been hooked!
I also own an Akaso V50 Elite.
The Akaso Brave 7 LE was a gift to my better half as she always wanted to use my camera so I showed her that Akaso were releasing a brand new unit and in my mind this would free me up to continue with my V50 Elite which is also one of the best cameras out there!
We went away recently and as we were camping my partner was kind enough to allow me to test this new Akaso unit and boy was I shocked!
I had previously toyed with the idea of getting a unit from their Brave range although nothing really stuck out much compared to what I already had so I had no intention of getting this unit for myself.
After noticing the obvious dual screens I was very intrigued and so I decided to put this camera through its paces and give it a proper test! As you are undoubtably aware, if you have ever purchased a unit from Akaso or any other make for that matter you are provided with a great deal of accessories for every conceivable situation and I mean that, these people cram so much into a small package it’s no wonder why after a short time you are required to buy a small carry case for the camera and all the accessories you may require and as a diver I make use of many!
The EK7000 was and still is a great unit however its stabilisation is not great which is why I upgraded to the V50 Elite, plus you can shoot at 4K.
The Brave 7 LE also shoots at 4K however the screen at the front is amazing, especially for blogging, setting up your framing just right etc.
I was surprised to learn than the Brave is waterproof, although not to the depths I dive to this is an amazing plus just incase! As Akaso say, the unit is weatherproof, IPX7 water resistant, has dual screens as well as having an advanced image stabilisation mode. ( more on that later )
The touch screen is intuitive and very easy to use, very responsive and there are no delays whilst navigating through the menu and settings. The camera has a Wi-Fi function so you can connect to your phone on the go and download videos or view them on your devices larger screen.
I have to say this is one of the best cameras available for the price and I mean that, it comes with accessories you would expect and some you would not such as a charger and 2 batteries which do actually last a very long time, whilst testing I fell just shy of 93 minutes use on one battery shooting in low resolution. What stands out as well, is the design of the remote control which is very futuristic looking yet not so much that you feel odd while wearing it.
This comes in tremendously handy while using a gimbal for example, there is no need to actually touch the unit and spoil the footage while taking pictures, starting and stopping videos as well as getting the perfect picture as the front colour display shows exactly what the camera does so you can choose the best time to take a picture.
Despite what Akaso states that the camera uses up to a 64 GB micro SD card I was surprised as I placed what I thought was a 64 GB card in only afterwards did I realise this was in fact a 128GB card.
I have not tested this but maybe it is something to do with the cards quality, I always use SanDisk Extreme 128 GB micro SDXC Memory Card with A2 App Performance, Class 10, UHS-I, U3, V30. This worked a treat in the camera so I will be asking Akaso why they recommend a 64 GB micro SD card?
On to the footage, you are provided with a wide range of footage options including wide angle shots or more standard views, the colours as I have previously touched on are in my opinion much better than my GoPro Hero 7 and before you all start jumping over this review go and look for yourself!, the low light capabilities of this sensor are incredible, not the best however they beat the GoPro 7 and that is in every resolution.
The only real issue that lets it down is the microphone, it really is a great deal better when you enable the wind reduction.
Very happy with this camera
Very happy with this camera. I use it all the time. Have all the accessories, and love it.I recommend it to anyone.

It is a great camera, the picture is so good and the battery lasts also got a extra battery in box.would recommend highly.
Very close to gopro
This camera may not be a gopro, but for the money it's fantastic. All the attachments and dual battery you cannot go wrong. The picture is great quality.
Bought this for motorbike runs
Bought this for motorbike runs, it comes with plenty of attachments to cover all options, so far no problems
The best company for action cameras
The best company for action cameras. It’s really good and there is nothing that is bad about it.
I got the akaso ek7000 yesterday and I already love it
AKASO EK7000 4k ultra HD
I got the AKASO EK7000 4k ultra HD for a present. Recently took it skiing with me to try it out. Very clear video, sound was clear when I didnt use the waterproof case. Got loads of accesories and a handy wrist band for remote recording. Ovrrall very happy with this little camera. Totally great value and it seemed to be just as good as my mates go pro for video and sound quality. Defently recomend one of these
I absolutely love my akaso ek7000 4k!
I absolutely love my akaso ek7000 4k!! The images are so clear and the quality ia fantastic. I would recommend this amazing piece of technology to anyone. Easy enough to use. I plan on making videos and maybe even trying my luck on YouTube.
Wish me luck!!
Best camera by far!!!!
I have the V50 Pro version as the image stabilisation facility will be extremely helpful not mentioning the fact that it is native 4k resolution so it's a true 4k resolution.
There are loads of accessories included, far too many too mention and after first impressions this is fantastic, with the touch screen, setting up is a breeze plus saves time scrolling through unnecessary settings until you get to the one required.
This really is the full package and on top of that if you provide a review they will send you our either an accessory set, 2 batteries or a 32 gb sd card!!
Full marks for the built in feature which negates the requirement for a lens filter when diving, this also has several video features such as black and white, sepia etc as well as several built in filters to compliment your camera.
This even includes a remote control (not waterproof) then tjis allows you to set up a scene from a distance and record a video or take a picture.
The Akaso V50 Pro utilises a 20 MP sensor which makes for crystal clear images and a variety of resolutions as well as variables for the Proffessional out there!!
At this price point it is hard to make a comparison with any other action camera including in my opinion the latest Go Pro I truly believe it is better@!!
Thanks
Jack
