Absolute criminals…
I ordered a portable air conditioner as it stated in stock, I paid for next day delivery. Later that evening I received a message to state that the order has been delayed. I called the next day to be told that they only had 1 in stock but 4 people purchased it and paid so only one person can have it. I voiced my disappointment to be told that they had more coming in on Friday but they would be £200 more! Absolute criminals, just looking to rip off customers!

Poorly packaged and arrived in torn…
Poorly packaged and arrived in torn part open box. The couriers DX just left a £450 package on the doorstep with no notifications and didn’t knock on the door. Also the was basically no available tracking and an eight hour delivery window so we waited in all day to find it on the doorstep when we took the bins out.

Unprofessional Support & Serve Delays - find alternatives
I rarely write Trustpilot reviews, but my recent experience with Aircon Direct UK warrants sharing this information for other consumers. I placed an order expecting standard delivery fulfillment, but instead faced a delay of over two weeks. When I contacted the company regarding the status of the shipment, I was informed that the items were entirely out of stock, despite the order having been processed.
Furthermore, the customer service interaction was highly unprofessional. The phone support staff became defensive and argumentative, refusing to provide refunds, demonstrating a clear lack of training in professional communication and conflict resolution. Would strongly avoid at all costs.

A Rip-Off Customer Service Experience
I confirmed that the air conditioner was in stock before placing my order. During checkout, I chose to use my own installer, but the website rejected their certification number and instructed me to pay first, saying customer services would contact me afterwards.
I called to get confirmation before paying, but instead I was repeatedly transferred between departments without receiving a clear answer. As a result, I lost confidence in the company and decided not to proceed with the purchase.
To make matters worse, I later discovered that the phone calls had cost me over £40. The whole experience was extremely frustrating and unacceptable.

Will be needed a lot more
After the first heat wave, as an elderly couple, we needed to do something to cope with repeated heat exhaustion and sleepless nights.
As the climate is expected to get worse, it was time to do something about it.
We selected a high capacity air conditioning unit from the range this Company offers.
It was delivered on time, well packaged, and with a clear User Manual.
Being on castor wheels we can locate it in any room of our bungalow.
We find that we can keep our lounge, really cool and if we open it up to the short hallway and keep one bedroom door open, it makes both rooms more comfortable.
We are very pleased with it and consider it a good investment for the future.

Easy to order online, delivery time was very acceptable considering the high demand due to the weather. Kept well informed for the delivery. Arrived on the day, well packaged . Set up was easy and works perfectly. Now have a nice cool house.

Smooth transaction, but air con unit is quite noisy
In terms of the overall service from Aircon Direct, that all went quite smoothly. A portable air conditioning unit was bought and delivered to my home on the day promised. Everything in order.
The product itself I have more mixed views on. It definitely cools the room down and fast. However, the sales description was that it was "quiet", which is not true. For instance, you can't hear the TV set when its running if you are in the same room. I use it to cool a room before I wish to use it, then switch it off when I go in there, to get around this problem.
