I found the Kiboko tour via African Budget Safaris and sent an email with questions . Harriet answered promptly and then we organised a Skype call to finalise details. She was also able to book accommodation prior to the tour departure and transfers included in the tour at both ends. Their website also has lots of blogs etc to ensure the trip you are taking is the right one for you . Highly recommend the over 40s lodge tour if you’re 50-80 but helps to be a fairly fit and healthy individual. Lots of long drives and bumpy at that however we all coped well . Loved all the lodges and dinners included. Wow Botswana is the highlight! We experienced amazing flora and fauna - it was magical !

All of the transfers to/from airport and hotels was seamless. The drivers and guides were all fantastic. The choice of safari lodges we stayed at were phenomenal and the activities offered were great. Meals were overall wonderful with local and western cuisines as well.

We decided to go to Africa at the very last moment and Bronwyn found an itinerary perfect for us. We discovered Namibia with an excellent guide, the accommodations were great and enjoyed all the activities. We saw so many animals! It was just perfect. It’s our fifth trip to Africa with African budget safari and every time we were so very satisfied!

The trip was as advertised. As a traveler I was very well informed. Our agent, Claire, was really great with good follow up answering all out questions. The tour guide from Kiboko, Weston, was awesome. He was informed, very pleasant and caring. He genuinely want us to develop an appreciation for Southern Africa.

We went on a camping safari in Botswana via African Budget Safaris. Their customer service was excellent throughout, arranging a once in a lifetime trip and liaising with the provider on our behalf. A minor accident occurred during our trip and they stayed involved after our trip was finished, and helped us get a resolution to the issue. Can't recommend them highly enough.

I just returned from a 14-day overland accomodated safari of Botswana Wildlife Parks booked through African Budget Safaris and operated by Sunway Safaris. We were a group of 11 (we all knew each other) and had a fabulous time. The description of the itineray was accurate, our guides were excellent, we had some amazing experience and even ate very well. Selected a fairly large itinerary which included Uganda Botswana Zambia Zimbabwe Capetown including a self drive through the Garden Route. Tasked Claire Monson to connect all the dots which included several flights to attain our experience plus ground crews to make all this happen.my and our trip came off seamlessly as all came together with no glitches other than some weather issues that Claire also remedied even on her day off. our safaris exceeded all my expectations and the some. Our guides put us in positions to view the wonders of Africa in close proximity with wildlife encounters we will remember and talk about for years to come. Our accommodations were all full of character and topnotch to say the least. WE can't thank Claire enough for making this happen. Our experience with African Budget Safaris was perfect from beginning to end thanks to travel agent Claire Monson. Claire was extremely efficient in working with my dream safari travel agenda. She mapped out our travel plan proposal complete with prices in less than 24 hours. Surprisingly even with the time difference between the US and South Africa and her brief family vacation, Claire picked up every call, returned my calls, or answered texts within 15 to 30 minutes. Our pick up and drop off times traveling between countries and local tours were perfectly calculated. We were amazed at the organization of the company and subcontracted vendors at each destination. Furthermore, it seemed as if Claire had our itinerary memorized since she could always answer questions without hesitation. We felt like we were old friends visiting from abroad who she was personally attending. Claire is a five star travel specialist who leads the way for African Budget Safaris 5 star ratings. Everywhere Claire sent us, we felt a very warm welcome and enjoyed the cultural experience as well as the the hospitality of the local people. Our safari was a wonderful experience!

The 2 Safari experience we did( the mobile bush tenting experience in Botswana & the Zambia fixed location tenting experience) we trips of a lifetime. The guides and the support team were superb. All very knowledgeable and assisted in every way to make the trip memorable. AFS did an exceptional job arranging all internal flights and accommodations along with knowledgeable staff meeting us at the airports to facilitate our moves to accommodations and keeping us informed of all facets of the trip. The itinerary was well laid out and easy to follow. Descriptions of camps, accommodations, flights, vehicles, etc. all accurate. Thanks for a fantastic adventure.

We could not have put this incredible trip together without Claire at African Budget Safaris. Claire planned a trip based on everything we wanted that let us experience “raw” Africa and luxury Africa. Every flight (and there were many), pickup/transfer and accommodation went smoothly with no issues. The organization was on the best level. From the first day of arriving till the last day we were under the caring help of our guides. The lodges and guesthouses had everything for a comfortable stay.

I have booked a number of safaries through "African Budget Safaris" (ABS). I have mostly worked with Chris for my safari booking. In February 2024, I did the "Mountain Gorilla Trekking and Safari in Uganda". The trip was fantastic and Chris did a wonderful job in geeting the booking done for me in time and providing all the relevant information and documents. I would recommend ABS to anyone for their Safari tour arrangement in Africa.
