We got there in the end with our sale and purchase but it was stressful to say the least.

Whenever we asked a question, the answer was vague. We were still required to provide documents right up to the day before completion to allow us to exchange but were not aware of these prior. The only urgency seemed to happen in the last couple of days.

I don’t have any experience of any other solicitors unfortunately, but there appeared to be a lack of communication between all three involved in our chain - buyers claiming they had sent something to ADK, ADK stating they had sent it, and our sellers solicitor being slow to send anything.

Overall, it’s an experience I don’t want to repeat, just glad I’ve got my keys now.

I was recommended to ADK by a friend, from my initial request, Adk (Lorna) have dealt with the process fantastically. Yes we had a few issues but that was down to the 3rd party solicitors. Anytime I had a question about the purchase of the house, I was kept updated as to where everything was.

I have been dealing with ADK LAW for several years and as always they are real professionals. All staff are knowledgeable in their fields and have guided me with right information before submitting the case .Their costs are competitive and extremely explicit in each sections. In all of my cases the results have been achieved successfully.I will not go anywhere else as ADK LAW is one stop shop for all my conveyancing.

I had a simple straightforward conveyancing task which ADK completed as one would expect. But, the manner of the service, their understanding and advice when needed, enabled me to feel relaxed during what can be a stressful time. Also, their price was very fair.

I instructed ADK Law as my conveyancing solicitor for my recent house move. Although the house purchase eventually went through, my experience with ADK Law was far from straightforward and stress free.

Will Speakman was my solicitor and although he was friendly, I often found that I had to send him several emails to find out exactly what I needed to do at each stage of the process. Unfortunately, as a first-time buyer who was not familiar with the house-buying process, I did not find that ADK Law explained the process clearly at any stage.

I attended the ADK Law office to hand in my paperwork before the exchange of contracts took place. Whilst a legal assistant was checking that I had all the documents signed in the right place, another member of staff came downstairs and abruptly advised that they were closing. Although Connor, the legal assistant, advised the staff member that I was a client, I was made to feel that I was delaying them from leaving the office for the evening and was unwelcome.

My experience became even more confusing when, during a phonecall with William, he advised me that he was going on holiday and didn't know who would be taking over my file. Don't worry, he advised, if I didn't complete the purchase, he'd have a chat with me when he was back! Far from setting my mind at ease, his flippancy added to an already stressful process and although I was subsequently advised that Tom would be taking on the file, this experience further added to the lack of professionalism I experienced.

ADK declined to confirm why there was a delay in the exchange of contracts until advising me at the very last moment that I would exchange just one day before I was due to complete. I had originally been advised that exchange would 'likely' be one week before completion.

Even when the purchase completed, I was advised I would receive a further email once 'formalities' had been completed. I am still awaiting that email two weeks later.

Whilst ADK Law did get there in the end and the house purchase went through, their poor communication and care-free approach did not make for a positive and stress-free experience.

I used ADK for s house move having found them on a price comparison website. Jinni was professional and efficient throughout, responding promptly and thoroughly to all my emails and queries.When a report that came back proved worrying she patiently listened to my concerns and offered excellent counsel while ensuring the decision of how to proceed was entirely my own. My move was completed in just over three months at the quoted price which was highly competitive. I was not local to ADK Law but this proved no obstacle with the vast majority of our business being carried out via phone and email and no need to visit the office. Lorna Speakman dealt with my conveyancing and was fantastic.

It was somewhat tricky because of BSA Cladding issues and a muddled change over from the original (generally uncooperative) freeholder's managing agent and the new RTM Company.

She managed to navigate a route through all of that and at each stage took time to answer my somewhat 'searching' questions.
