Ordered it on a Tuesday had it that Thursday.

This brace is very good. It let's me continue to play my sport even though I have a sprained ankle.

I am a senior-aged woman who has flat feet (running barefoot in the South when school is over is a given) and moderate arthritis in my ankle bones. My foot specialist suggested that I order the soft ASO ankle braces to support my feet and keep my ankles stabilized as well as good supportive shoes. I cannot tell you what an amazing difference this has made, as I was wearing a totally wrong type of brace which had been prescribed by a former foot specialist. It went halfway up the calf of my leg, had hard plastic sides and an insole. I was told by my "second opinion" doctor that this was entirely the wrong type of brace for my particular problem. He recommended your soft ASO lace-up w/ Velcro supportive straps and now I am very comfortable all day long. I have one for each foot and a third for a spare. The day may come when I may require surgery as the arthritis will not improve, but become worse. Until then, I feel that I am wearing the most beneficial brace for my particular problem. In addition, I will add that these braces are very affordable and for folks like myself, on a limited income, that is the icing on the cake. Thank you!

I have been ordering an ASO ankle brace for my husband for several years, on the advice of his doctor . The support provided by the brace enables him to walk. His skeletal problem is not in his ankle but in the middle portion of his foot. These bones are not stable which causes them to sliide back and forth as he walks causing pain. The brace
keeps these bones stable which helps him walk without pain. He uses the "lace up" ASO because the laces enable him to tighten the middle portion of the brace so it provides firm support to the area of his foot which needs the support. Speedy delivery between 2 and 3 days with Achilles Medical always impresses me.

I kid you not- I didn't think there would be a brace that I could wear that would make me feel comfortable enough to return to my sport following not one, but two, surgeries to repair a completely ruptured achilles tendon. I cried thinking I would never get to play netball again, but I spoke to my ortho surgeon and he told me about the ASO ankle brace. I ordered one from Achilles Medical and it took maybe 3 days to get to me. I decided to try it out last night on the netball court, my first game since the injury occured in May 2013 (we are now March 2014) and I completely forgot that I had an injury. The girls were shouting at me to take it easy - who has time for that?!

My daughters play competitive volleyball and both have sprained ankles in the past while not wearing the ASO braces. I realized after one of them tweaked her ankle (again) on a Monday night, wearing a different brace, that they both needed the ASO braces before their big tournament on Saturday. I placed the order on Tuesday morning and paid extra for two-day shipping, crossing my fingers that the order would get processed and shipped in time for the tournament. Sure enough, when I contacted Mike from work on Thursday, asking about the status of our order, he was able to confirm that not only had the order been shipped the same day I ordered, but that the package had in fact already been delivered. Sure enough, when I got home Thursday evening the package was waiting for us. Can't ask for better service -- same-day shipping PLUS a personal response to an email query from a customer. Definitely five-star service!

My Doctor gave me the website to order this ankle brace. He said that other places would charge $150 for the same thing and file on insurance, but most likely insurance would not pay for item.
