Perfect

They were very friendly, professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. The job was completed very quickly and accurately. My house was left clean and undamaged. The appliance is running smoothly and looks great. I won't go anywhere else ever again.

Very pleased with Abt!

Finding the refrigerator and optional ice maker I wanted worked well, and the pricing was competitive. The delivery was within just a few days. The truck arrived during the scheduled delivery window, and the two gentlemen handling the delivery couldn't have been nicer or more helpful.

Better stores to buy out there

I bought my main four kitchen appliances there. I accepted an open-box refrigerator for a fair discount after inspecting the “defect” they mentioned — a small scratch near the bottom. However, after installing the appliances, I noticed the freezer wasn’t cooling properly. I contacted them, and after a technician’s visit, they determined it needed to be replaced. But I had to pay the price difference for a new one because I refused to accept another open-box unit without seeing it first (which I later found out had actually been a display model).

I had to deal with a salesman who was inflexible and arrogant — he wouldn’t even let me speak until he finished his entire speech. Eventually, after contacting customer service, I ended up paying an additional $200 for the replacement. I just wanted it resolved, so they finally replaced it — after a week without a freezer and no compensation for the food I lost.

I hoped that would be the end of it, but unfortunately not. A couple of days later, the dishwasher stopped working. I chose ABT for the service because the OEM technician had a one-day longer wait, which I now regret. The first technician came on Tuesday just to check what parts were needed — he didn’t have any with him. The second technician arrived on Saturday, cranky and dismissive, blaming the electrician’s work simply because he didn’t understand newer wiring methods. He even cut the dishwasher wire after failing to disconnect a Wago 221 connector (he didn’t know you have to lift the lever). Later, he discovered the real issue was a faulty main board, which was replaced, but now I have a refurbished dishwasher for the price of a new one. He never apologized or showed any willingness to learn how the connector worked — he just looked away when I tried to show him. I wasn’t trying to argue, only to teach him something that might make him a better professional.

I won’t buy from them again. For less money, I could have bought the same appliances elsewhere with far less hassle. In total, I had to deal with five service visits, each requiring me to be available starting at 7 AM just for them to call and say when they planned to come.

Bad customer service and delivery

Bought a fridge last week, got tracking email but the tracking number doesn’t work. I have been calling ABT and Hub logistic so many times, no one can tell me where my fridge is. This is the first time I purchased from ABT, because of all the good reviews, now I feel so regret, not mentioning the ABT customer service bad attitude, really ruin my day.

Appalled by the poor service.

It hurts me to have to give a poor rating. I have been a loyal customer of Abt for 30 years. I had a recent delivery that was awful. The delivery person doing all of the talking was surly. When I asked them to remove the tv from the box I was told “ that costs extra. Here sign this”. The one doing the talking told me there was a charge to remove an item from a box. Furious, I called the store and spoke to a manager who told me there was no charge for removing the tv from the box. Heretofore, Abt walked on water in my estimation., I could have gotten better service at a lesser store. I think they have grown too big and the superb customer service has gone out the window. Also, they need to train the two individuals who made the delivery. They pulled that large truck into my driveway. There was space at the mouth if the driveway without pulling that large truck weighing who knows what into my driveway.

My wife purchased an expensive vacuum…

My wife purchased an expensive vacuum cleaner last November, but was told it was on back order and would be delivered to her when it came in. She paid for the order, but it was never delivered. Abt says they shipped it via UPS and we would have to take it up with UPS. We have no leverage with UPS who simply claims they deliver all the packages they get and sent a picture, not of the package, but a picture of our building with a circle drawn around a locked door that only resident cars can enter.

Based on my experience, I would not pay for anything from Apt unless you can walk out with it!

Hi Tom, the delivery investigation has been completed by UPS and they confirmed the package was delivered to the doorman at your building. When a package is accepted by building staff UPS does not cover the shipment. Building management would be responsible at this point for locating the package and confirming who signed for/received it.

We recommend contacting your doorman/front desk and property management to request their package log/sign-in record for that delivery date and to check any security camera footage covering the receiving area.

If you’d like, we can also provide the tracking information and delivery confirmation details again to help your building identify it.

I bought a Kitchenaid range from Abt

I bought a Kitchenaid range from Abt. It’s a lemon. I had their techs out about 8 times. They never did anything. Never fixed it. Just waited until the 1 year was up and they were off the hook. Abt Electronics is garbage. Now I’m trying to deal with Whirlpool Corp and they are no better. Even the repair guys say “unless it’s something easy they don’t care”. Last guy I had out didn’t even turn the oven on before he told me there is nothing wrong with it. I wouldn’t buy dog food from Abt. I certainly won’t spend almost $2000 for a range again

Great experience with ABT

Purchased a GE microwave. Great prices, horrible delivery service

Great prices. Easy to navigate website.
Absolutely horrible shipping service.
First it was supposed to be a around 8:30 then around 12:30 then delivery cancelled

Next day delivery scheduled for 12:30 to 2:30. It is 2:30 now. No communication
