Only giving 3 stars as I tried to cancel my subscription on line and it doesn’t allow you. You need to call a phone number which doesn’t make it as convenient.

Really love this product

I have been using this product for just over a year now. My hair and skin is definitely better since I started. 🙂

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Absolute Collagen.

What started as simply trying the hair collagen somehow resulted in me being notified that I was due to receive a full month’s supply under what appeared to be a subscription arrangement that I had no intention of signing up for.

I contacted Absolute Collagen immediately to cancel it, but received no reply — and then the order arrived anyway, alongside my usual collagen delivery.
I contacted them again, cross at this point, only to be told that I could not return the products due to “health and safety regulations” or similar excuses. It was only after I complained that they finally agreed to accept the return.

To avoid any excuse for rejecting the refund, I returned BOTH products unopened. The parcel was delivered to them two weeks ago, yet I have had to send three separate emails simply asking when my refund would be processed. After all that chasing, the response I finally received last Friday was:

“Once the warehouse will process your return a refund will be issued.”

Not only does that barely make sense, but why has it taken a fortnight for a returned parcel to even be processed? And why was I ignored repeatedly before receiving such an unhelpful response?

It is very disappointing, and time wasting. It doesn’t pass for any form of customer service. The product could have been stopped from being sent and since 22 April, I have been out of pocket GBP120 and waiting for my refund.

The pouch does not last the 28 days, 21 tops so run out before next delivery. Either the pouch size is not accurate or the scoop is too big, either way not a monthly subscription

Friends say that i am glowing. The product is so easy to take

I was initially about to leave a review but in doing so I have read so many bad reviews. This is causing a red flag for me despite my initial desire to come on and give good feedback. I will however leave my original review which is why I came onto the site but now that I have read all the other negative reviews it’s made me wary so I will be proceeding with caution and I will revisit this page of my opinion changes in the future.

Original review - I’ve been using the collagen supplement for about 6 weeks now, and I received the mini skincare set as a free gift with my subscription. I honestly wouldn’t have chosen it for myself.

I rarely leave reviews, but this product has genuinely impressed me so much that I felt compelled to which doesn’t happen often

The face cream and eye cream are both absolutely beautiful to use. The textures feel incredibly luxurious, they absorb effortlessly, and they leave my skin feeling deeply nourished without any heaviness or residue. What stands out most is the visible difference in how my skin looks—there’s a healthy, radiant, “well” quality to it that I don’t usually get from skincare.

It’s rare for something I didn’t even intend to buy to make such an impact, but this set has genuinely won me over. I will definitely be purchasing it again and would highly recommend it.

Not long starting using this collagen. I cannot stomach bovine so have the marine powder. Not sure that I’ve noticed any improvements yet and I’m not too keen on the taste. Leaves a strange taste in your mouth.

Its really good but just to much money every month unfortunately i would definitely continue if it was a bit cheaper

I wanted something convenient and being a vegetarian, I didn’t want to compromise too much, so I decided to try marine collagen sachets by Absolute. I have not tried their face creams etc (which may be affecting their overall rating when people are just looking for a collagen supplement). After taking for about 6 weeks or so I noticed a massive difference in my nails (I have never been able to grow them as they are so brittle) but they were strong and getting long. Overall my skin and hair felt better. Then I was in and out of hospital and stopped taking it and because I have a subscription, the packets were piling up. I cancelled my subscription with a simple phone call. I am now starting again with my stock of collagen sachets and in the next few weeks I’m confident I’ll be subscribing again.

Have you noticed the relentless adverts for Elevate collagen on social media?? Not seen a single one for Absolute collagen!

I’ve used Absolute Collagen daily for a long time, always adding it to my morning coffee without any issues.

Since their recent change to the sachet consistency, the product now consistently curdles coffee when milk is added. I’ve tried multiple sachets over several days and had the same result every time. This never happened before.

Their website clearly states the product can be added to hot drinks like coffee, yet when I raised this, they tested it in boiling water (not coffee with milk) and dismissed the issue.

Customer service repeatedly treated this as a “preference” issue, rather than acknowledging that the product no longer works as advertised or expected.

Despite this, they refused to accept a return of the unused sachets and refused to issue a refund.

They did cancel my subscription, but overall this is very disappointing. A product that can’t be used in the way it’s promoted—and a company unwilling to take responsibility—is not something I would recommend.
