This firm are a joke. 100% joke. We phoned, confirmed we had a dog with us, not a problem. Half an hour late and we phoned again - didn't seem to have the booking. Told them again about the dog (small collie). Eventually the taxi turns up, late on a Saturday night, and the driver says he doesn't take dogs. Phoned them back and Matthew then decides to tell us it's "driver discretion" - why send a driver who won't take a dog in car when we've mentioned it 3 times. Matthew seemed to think it was funny. Complete farce and let down and we had to walk 3 miles home in dark and rain. DISGUSTING

Booked them for a trip from Liverpool to Warrington Bank Quay. Driver was a couple of minutes late (but no real issue there as there was quite a lot of football traffic).

Very reasonably priced and reliable.

Thank you to the driver who came to my house in Cinnamon Brow last night and returned my Daughter’s purse!
She had left it in his cab the day before when dropped off from Warrington to Newton.
Some good, honest drivers work for ABBA

I think this company are excellent I think things have improved dramatically, always on time, text message when on route, text message when arrived. Receipt sent to phone afterwards. Good reliable service haven’t had any negative issues

AVOID at all costs. They simply don't turn up when booked, then the office stalls and lies.

It’s a shame!! I booked a taxi and I thought to find it outside the airport but when I call them wasn’t my booking. Without apologise they say that was my fold because I didn’t call them for confirmation, how can I confirm if I’m on the plane?
In the end I‘m not happy because I’m in late to work now.thanks to god we got

Wow, never in all my 15 years of working in the Taxi industry have i been treated so badly. Taxi pre booked and after calling after it still hadn't turned up after 15 minutes was told sort it when we can' then hung up on, this happened multiple times. We decided to start walking and told the driver where to meet us, at a local garage, he then pulls up 45 minutes late and says "jump in I'm gonna fill up with fuel first" bloody cheek!!! Disgraceful service, terrible attitude to customer service, need to up your game!! Never going to use again

Drivers always nice but the office staff are shocking. Today I booked a taxi on the app which someone took from outside the office. Some very rude unhelpful woman then proceed to tell me thst I hadn't booked a taxi and ppl in the office get priority.

I tired to book another 3 times which after saying it was on its way was cancelled then access was blocked.

I had 2 nine year boys with me aswell

AN HOUR LATE!!! had a table booked that we lost the deposit for because this incompetent company couldn’t sent a taxi in time. Called to follow up and was hung up on. Absolute joke of a company. First and last time using them.

Stopped using Abba 8 years ago as they never turned up when they said they would and controllers so unhelpful.
Thought 'try again' so asked for car for 9.45 to 10pm. Re-phoned to confirm. Told car on its way and driver would phone with ETA. No call from driver. Called at 10.07 to be told car would be another 20 minutes. Questioned so (eventually) put thru to controller who told me car was turning in and I should be able to see it. Asked that driver call with ETA or would phone for an Uber. No call received. As other reviewers have commented, controller was somewhat liberal with the truth. Driver arrived 10.22, half an hour late. Wished I'd called an Uber when I arrived at airport instead of prebooking with Abba. Driver very pleasant and not his fault. How can a taxi company be so bad? No wonder Uber is taking over.

To give this service 1 star is generous. Dispatched the taxi half an hour after it was due to collect me...and there was no traffic on the road. Missed my booked train. Rang up and given zero explanation. Had to buy two train tickets in the end. Shocking really as the journey was a 7 minute journey.

Mr Phil Bailey, you must have skin thicker than an elephant. I experienced the worst service last Sat, 20th July, from any taxi company I have ever used.
Over an hour and a half late with continuous promises from your control that the taxi was on its way in response to the numerous phone calls I made to the office, having booked the service 4 days earlier.
From your customers’ experiences, quoted on this link, you should be reacting to the very poor service your company is offering the community and taking corrective action.
THE PROBLEM SEEMS TO BE IN YOUR CONTROL OFFICE WHERE THE FOOLS MAKE PROMISES THEY CANNOT KEEP JUST TO GET YOU OFF THE LINE TO TELL MORE LIES TO THE NEXT POOR CUSTOMER.
You need to get a grip otherwise everyone will be following my example and using any other service but ABBA and you will be out of action - on second thoughts please continue as you are.

Gave it 1as you have to give it something to write a review. Are you shameless the p____s you have working for you or do you not give a s__t horrible company rude as f__k in the office I am fuming what a horrible company never again

I will not be using ABBA cars again.
Generally they are OK but on Saturday 20 July I booked a 6 seater car to take me to a Jools Holland concert at Walton Gardens, that arrived on time. We booked a pick up at 11pm, 4 days previously, it never came. After phoning for 30 minutes a cab arrived to pick up someone else who wasn't there and I managed to get the ladies into that. I phoned every 10 minutes to be told it would be there in 5-10 minutes but still it didn't arrive. At midnight I lost my temper but didn't swear and one of the office staff told me to shut up moaning. I was livid to be spoken to in such a manner. At 12.15 a taxi arrived and he told me that he had only been booked in the last 8 minutes.
ABBA cars if you treat your long loyal customers like this God help the rest. Don't book with this company.
PS the drivers though are great!

Awful taxi service!! Avoid at all costs! Even though I pre-booked days before they were still 30mins late picking us up and an hour late for the return journey. I had to constantly ring them to see where they were and on both occasions it was if they hadn’t even got anyone for the job yet!! I won’t be using them again! Thank god I wasn’t going the airport!

ABSOLUTELY APPALLING!!
I booked a 6 seater to collect my family from a wedding venue 7 weeks in advance and was given a time of pick up, a quote and booking reference number.
I called the afternoon of the wedding and was told...
A 6 seater might not be available and we would then need 2 taxis.
The quote wasn’t a quote and it was based on meter.
PLUS.. I would need to call again an hour before pick up.
What a waste of time and effort.
Total misinformation and totally unreliable.
Do not use!!!

Very unreliable service, the office staff it’s a shambles and drivers are very bad time keeping... no wonder why Uber are buzzing with customers. Also, anyone’s want to apply for Abba academy and become part of their team, DON’T!! Everything about getting where you need to go, it’s fault. Don’t believe any words from them. Disgrace to Warrington

Waited 35 mins for a taxi that said it would be straight away 10 mins walk up the road, Wish I had of but the missus had high heels on 😠

Booked a taxi in advance to take 7 of us home (including 2 toddlers and a baby ) it didn’t turn up so when we chased they said there wasn’t a car available yet (even though they had confirmed our booking and we had a text saying the car was coming!) as they were annoyed we were chasing they blocked our calls then we then had to order it from another company. Awful service
