Prompt efficient service at short notice. We recently moved house after 36 years at the same address, quite dismayed at the way this system works, needed a removal company at short notice. 1van 1Man met all our needs. They arrived when they said they would, loaded quickly and carefully and placed everything where required at the other end. All for a very reasonable price.

Excellent last minute service
I contacted this company on Good Friday, desperate to get a large piece of furniture removed from my late mother's flat, the next day. They were able to help me out and everything went very smoothly indeed. I am most grateful that they were able to come to my aid and I was most impressed by their attention to detail. Thank you.

Above and beyond
We recently used 1 Van 1 Man to deliver a reclining chair to my Grandad at short notice after he moved into a care home. Despite building work making it difficult and being told by staff to leave it downstairs, knowing how much he was wanting it the team went above and beyond to make sure they got the chair upstairs and installed for him. Communication throughout was brilliant and we couldn't of asked for more from the service. Thank you!

Best house movers in York!
These guys helped me move house. I had a lot more stuff than I realized and we ended up taking one extra trip than we'd planned, but they were able to move it all without any complaints!

I picked this firm due to the good reviews. They lived up to the praise Mike and Tomas were friendly polite and very professional. They clarified what was going from the 1st floor flat and then just got on with the job of moving it all. At the new premises a 3rd floor flat with no lift they again just got on with the job and in no time were finished. I would recommend to anyone wanting to move and would definitely use again.

Dale & his team cracked on with the job professionally and courteously; and even when it took longer than expected, they simply carried on until it was done (finished at 9:30pm).

Couldn't fault them!
Used 1 Van 1 Man earlier today to move from Leeds to York and I could not be more impressed. The service from Thomas was excellent - he was very friendly and efficient and packed my stuff with the utmost care. Would 100% recommend and know my stuff will be in safe hands when it goes from York to Beverley in a few weeks time.

Stress-Free Movers
I contacted 1 Van 1 Man removals at reasonably short notice about moving house just before Christmas. Despite it being an obviously very busy period for movers, they were incredibly helpful and communicative, and juggled diaries around to be able to schedule us in on the ideal day for us. On moving day, they arrived on time, worked hard, were professional, friendly and efficient throughout, and were genuinely a pleasure to work with. I would recommend them unconditionally, and they will be our first phone call next time we have something to move.
