I needed a 57mm OD pipe to connect my table saw to a vacuum-less dust collection bag. It only needed to be 100mm in length. After a lot of searching, I was so pleased to find just what I needed at 1stchoicemetals. As any woodworker knows; finding adaptors that will let you join extraction pipes together can be a frustrating experience. Using aluminium tube, cut to size and delivered quickly, solved my problem perfectly. :-)

I enquired as to wether the aluminium sheet supplied would have a rolled/ polished or brushed finish
Steve assured me that the sheet has a rolled finish only
On receipt of order I peeled of the protective film to be presented with a distinctive brush finish
Rang to ask about this and was told the sheet is not brushed
I’ve been involved with industrial design and engineering most of my working life and can distinguish between different metal finishes
Unfortunately 1st choice metals can’t
I’ll not be purchasing from them again unfortunately
