WSL Will Writing Reviews 

Been trying to contact this company to inform them of my mother's death and no answer, just constantly on hold. They offer a call back call, which I asked for but no call back.
Finally after all day trying to get a call, I received one. But only to be told they will send everything that I need to my email, and NO emails received. Whilst dealing with a death, this is NOT what anyone needs.

Too difficult to deal with. Avoid.

Taking care of my mother's affairs after she passed in March was overwhelming, especially while grieving. I contacted WSL, where her will was stored, and I'm incredibly thankful for that decision. Amberlie was outstanding, leading me through each phase with immense compassion and understanding. Her patience was a tremendous comfort, as I was new to the process and weighed down by emotions. Without her help, I wouldn't have managed. Amberlie also put me in touch with a conveyancer to handle the transfer of the property title, which is now underway. I'm so impressed that I'm thinking about setting up my own will with them. Deep gratitude to WSL, and a special shout-out to Amberlie for her invaluable support.

Initial interview was good but once they get you on board, their service is terrible
It has taken me 3 months to get my will changed even though I paid for their top service
I chased so may times with no response
I am still waiting for contact back

Terrible. We signed up for the lifetime package and months later, still have no finished will. No response ftom emails to Zara Liddle. Very disappointed.

My recent experience with WSL was far from the compassionate and professional service that they purport to deliver. They were hired to write a will involving a trust for minors for an 85 year old widow who was facing a life threatening operation. They managed to get the address wrong on the very first line of the will; they bamboozled the widow into including themselves as co executors and co trustees, which was against the known wishes of the widow; they sent a spare copy of the will to another address, thus potentially exposing the details of the will to a third party; they failed to produce an invoice or a receipt despite being asked to several times; and they made a mistake on the will by indicating that one of the minor beneficiaries was an adult; When the widow understandably asked for a refund, they refused point blank to give her one , but kept the money, which was well over the advertised asking price.

They lost or didn’t receive our sighed, witnessed wills? They failed to inform us of this and when contacted couldn’t provide me with any information about it or resolve the issue. The original Will writer was Zara Liddle and they were very reluctant to let me speak with her? We paid top price for the VIP service and definitely didn’t receive it!

Very worried. I need to find a reputable company to update my will. I have read the reviews which seem to have a similar theme running through them i.e. they seem unable to locate the files for the people who have issues. All I need to find out is their address as I need a local solicitor but so far unable to.

Ripped me off charging £325 for each LPA I had 2, he came to write out my will and then told me a sob story about what happened to him to persuade me I needed these LPA's, after paying him £650 I still have to pay an extra £82 for each LPA to get them authorized and if I had done this myself that it is all it would have cost £82, Don't trust this company.

We would not recommend this company for your will .and use a local solicitor. They state the cost will be £195 for a mirror will then the fees go up and up to around £1740. We have had so much trouble with them we have asked for a refund to go to a local solicitor. They kept making mistakes with different spellings and have not corrected them

I appreciate other's experience here but I have to say my experience with Chris was commendable. Yes I had problems contacting someone many weeks ago. I believe this was due to a merger and change of offices. But the imp thing is how do you make it up to your customers. Chris did that for me today. We had a meeting, he gave me solid advice based on notes from a previous chat, and that deserves acknowledgement. Thank you Chris.

Will was supposed to take 6 weeks to complete. 3 months later still waiting for it. Phone lines are busy, the solicitor with whom we had an initial meeting is taking 2 weeks + to respond to a query. Not worth the hassle. They took £900 upfront, then no contact.

Do your research 1st. They do not advise that additional costs are probable. £495 for 'right to reside' for your spouse. £295 to set up a trust fund for under 18's. There are competitive prices out there! If single & leaving estate to other over 18's... this maybe the right place.

wrong statements in the will and unwilling to rectify.

Phone this company,after viewing there website , very good-telephone manner, and very professional, went into great detail, and mentioned things , we did not give any thought, had a great knowing regarding how to distribute your wealth, keeping the taxman away, the actual writing of the will,is of a high , legal standard.

Sevvy was great throughout the process. We arranged our first meeting on a Friday evening to fit in with our working commitments. The process was clear and Sevvy made it very easy to understand and took great care to establish what is important to us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company for their Will writing services. Thankyou for the peace of mind that you have given us both.

A family member lost their loved one recently. Had nothing but problems with this firm. Time consuming. No continuity. Lost valuable docs which were located after a lengthy time. Were told we were not able to conduct probate ourselves.
Would not recommend at all. Go to a local reputable solicitor.

When we wrote our wills, they were great in sorting them & our LPA’s. When my Husband passed away in July they have made my experience dealing with them so stressful at a time when I needed help & guidance. I wish I had gone through a local firm whose help & response times would have been quicker. When a loved one passes you don’t know what to do. I would have expected a better experience for the money we spent with them.

Amberlie was amazing I lost my mum in March and I had to deal with my late mums estate which is not an easy thing to do when you have lost a loved one.
I contacted WSL who mum had her will with.
They were absolutely brilliant Amberlie was very helpful in everything I needed to get and do.
Amberlie was very patient/polite with me as I've never done this before and it it is so upsetting to do.
I could never had done this on my own I can't thank Amberlie enough for everything she has done.
Amberlie also put me in touch with a conveyancer to help change the name on my mums property to ours.
That's all going through now. I am now looking at doing my Will with them.
