Comfortable socks, but would have liked more info upfront

I bought a pair of socks from Wodabox as I wanted a pair with a Godzilla design to give as a birthday gift. Multiple online shops offer Godzilla socks, but I chose these as they were the only option which had substantial cotton and Coolmax content to wick sweat.

When I received the socks, it turned out that the design is printed onto the socks rather than knitted in as is more usual, which was acceptable but I would have liked to know that before purchasing. Pictures of the socks being modelled without shoes or trousers obscuring the design would also have been useful.

The parcel arrived a few days in advance of the estimated delivery date, and I received several email updates about its progress from being shipped, through customs, and its handover to the Royal Mail.

Mixed feelings

Overall a very good shop, the selection of CrossFit accessories and training related items is pretty great, you can find things that you can’t anywhere else. Also they have good customer support. Despite this, I could not give them 5 stars and I was actually thinking of giving a lower rating, since some mistakes were made. I did not receive one of the items I order without being notified in advance, only to later get my money back and be told that it was out of stock. First of all it should have said out of stock on the website and not let me order the item, but I understand that not all inventorying systems are the same. Now, I paid express shipping and the order arrived in 12 days, because for the first 7 the shop was closed. I only learned this when I came in contact with customer support and got back an automated response explaining the situation. There should have been a disclaimer on the website for days in advance.
Bottom line these minor mistakes happen, but I mention them because I hope the fix them in the future. I was not completely satisfied with the shop but I will probably order again in the future.
