My recent purchase of fruits in general…
My recent purchase of fruits in general the produce were ok.
The only reason l gave it 4 stars is because l noticed some of the fruits ripened very quickly and started to spoil. The Pineapple and one of the avocado's was spolit when cut.

Shelf Life
I over estimated the amount of food that I would receive. Its over 3 weeks and still have food left. The shelf life doesn't extend beyond a 1.5 weeks realistically, so have be prepared to use the food immediately. Had to dispose of some of the Yam because it was bad in middle.

The food that we offer is at its freshest, and some items can be frozen for later use, for example, pumpkin, yam, Scotch Bonnet peppers and christophene (chocho). These items can also be cooked from frozen.
We're disappointed to hear about the yam, we alwayd aim to pick the best, but sometimes yams can appear perfect on the outside until they are cut. On the despatch note we do ask customers to contact us if there are any issues with their order.
For goodwill, we will send you some complimentary yam on your next order :)

As good as choosing for myself in a shop
Living in rural Lincolnshire, it was as good as my being in the shop choosing it myself to receive your selection of what I ordered. All was excellent quality and condition, well packed and delivered promptly.

I wasn't aware one of my items was out of stock when I submitted the order - so was notified too late to choose another item. Other than that, the ordering and delivery process was fine.

My first order
It was my first order and it arrived quite quickly. The things I ordered were very good, as expected. Next time I will try the basket produce as this time I stuck to the tins and packets plus the saltfish, which I was surprised was of good quality and very thick. Thank you.

Top quality that feels like family
I cannot recommend Windrush Bay highly enough. As someone who has limited mobility and has moved from Croydon, to an area where access to cultural diet is a little limited, this company is an absolute lifeline.
As a long term customer I have found the team to consistently deliver outstanding service and exceptional quality.
Every step from using the website, to receiving an update when order is being shipped, to the quality of the items is the best.
I always get excited to receive my box, full of fresh ground provisions and everything I need to make my beloved Saturday soup. The boxes are really thoughtful and its even better that they are delivered in sustainable, environmental friendly packaging.
Each time I have interacted with the team, I always come away feeling incredibly proud and invested in this amazing company. I recently had a query and was pleasantly surprised when I received a call from a lovely lady (I think her name was Mel), who reached out to help.
