Southern Window and Gutter Company Charlotte Reviews 

On April 4, 2022 I was approached by Southern Industries salesmen about having new windows and gutters installed. They gave me an estimated 4-5 weeks for installation. It wasn't until August when they finally got me scheduled. There were two occasions when they texted me and said they were coming to install them the next day after the text, however, I was out of town on both occasions. If they had set up a scheduled time at least a week in advance, I could have made sure I would be in town. This is the way this company functions as I have learned. They will show up at their convenience, without much notice and if you are not there, you will not see them again for months. The windows were installed in August, but the work was not completed because they did not have everything they needed to complete the job and also said they had to go to another job. The caulking was done poorly and there are large gaps which allow water to get in and get behind the windows(4 out of the 8 windows have gaps). The project supervisor has promised several times to come out and finish the job, but he continues to not show up at the scheduled times he has set for me to be home to finish the work. It is over a month(close to two months) since the windows were supposed to be installed and his persistent failure to finish the job is unacceptable. Customer service is extremely poor. The office personnel are unable to get in touch with their service techs/supervisors and can not help you. I am very sorry I went with this company. I am extremely disappointed in the service and concerned about the underlying damage being done to my home with rain getting in through the gaps left around the windows where the caulk is missing. 9/29/22

Update:
Southern Industries contacted me and sent out someone to correct all of the issues immediately after I posted the review. I am satisfied with their work and speed at which they addressed the issues in this review. They are also coming back to see what they can do about one thing that the project supervisor could not fix and referred to as a "design flaw". And I did get a call recently from another supervisor assigned to come out and look at the "design flaw" issue to see what he could do. Other than that, I am very pleased with my new windows and the way Southern Industries handled this issue showing that they do care about their customers!

Although it has been several weeks since we had our windows replaced by Southern Window and Gutter Company, there are not enough words to express how happy we are about our new windows. Southern Windiw and Gutter Co provided us with not only quality windows and materials but the service was excellent and far exceeded our expectations. The guys came at the agreed upon date and time and quickly removed the old windows and replaced them all without any disruption to our day. Southern Window and Gutter Co were simply awesome and I would highly recommend them or use them again.

I have been thoroughly satisfied with my gutters that have been replaced by Southern Window and Gutter Company. The gutters look great and now I have larger downspouts to handle the water! They were very efficient and fast with the installation. They made sure to clean up all the debris afterwards. Totally recommend them!

Every step of the process in dealing with this company, was a pleasurable one. All agreements were met as promised; from the initial contact with a very professional representative, to on-time arrival of installers and a neat and professional installation. Also,
all work was completed within the very reasonable cost that I was quoted. i would recommend Southern Window and Gutter Company of Charlotte to anyone considering the home improvement services they offer.

All personnel were professional and thorough in their explanation of what work was to be done, as well as how long it would take them. They did exactly what they said they would do. They cleaned up everything very satisfactorily.

Working with Southern Window and Gutter was great. Everyone was very pleasant and professional. Our gutters look great and more importantly they work great.

Quick and courteous service and installation. No problems after ten months. Don't have to get up on the roof again which is a big relief and worth the expense.

The crew arrived on time and immediately started to set up and began work. They worked together, did not stand around, cleaned up after afterwards and finished in 4 hours or less.

It’s been almost a year and the gutters are working great. No more climbing a ladder to remove debris from clogged downspouts! No more repairing mulch flower beds and other landscaping that was ruined after heavy rains because of overflowing clogged gutters! The field sales, internal tech support and installation team were very professional and did a great job scoping out project and delivering on promises.

My mother and I had been to Sams' to do some shopping and met one of the in store salesman and we set up time for them to inspect our attic to add more insulation,the outside salesman came and inspected and set up for installation date and also stated they would add attic stair tenet which goes above the ladder and keeps heat upstairs in;all in all everything went very well and the attic stairway tent was also beneficial I would recommend them as they have knowledgeable staff.

I was satisfied with the work provided. My only complaint is the nails & scrap metal was not completely cleaned it. I had to replace a tire due to a piece of scrap metal from the old gutters & 2 nails in my tire. All other work was completed satisfactorily.

he arrived when he said he would on the first day of installment. I had a family emergency that interrupted the process. He cleaned his mess and left everything neat until he could return to finish.He was able to return inless than a week and finished the job. The shower looks great.

Great rep who sold us gutters. No pressure at all—just information about the gutters. The installation crew was very courteous and very proficient. Left behind no trash or nails. Love the fact that our gutters won’t get clogged with leaves,etc. Don’t have to find someone to clean them.
