Vauxhall have had my car for a week now having broken down on the A1 and had to be towed of which cost us 85£ Was supposed to be on holiday but was told not to use the car had to have it towed back from Richmond North Yorkshire to Scunthorpe this cost us 500£ not impressed as this caused us a lot of stress . Apparently it is a Vauxhall fault they knew about but can’t do anything till conformation from Vauxhall. We are both pensioners and my husband disabled not having a car makes life stressful. Not a lot of communication or help . Just to say we have had Vauxhall for 20 years and always use Scunthorpe for services and mots not HAPPY
Absolutely disgusting
Tool car for MOT they said car had broken headlight wasn't broken before it went in said car needed track rod end and didn't also said the handbrake all needed replacing it didn't tried to charge £144 to find the problem with the hand brake so called them instead of paying online straight away then all of a sudden after talking they new the problem so why did they need £144 to find the problem they already new about wanted £300 to fix the car online then changed it to £890 on the phone and said they deducted £144 off so £890 for a hand brake which they said is corroded inside without taking the wheels off and you can't see inside with out taking wheels and brake disk off so how did they know the problem with out seeing inside but wanted to charge £144 for something they made up so they broke my headlight and made up more lies just to get £890 for work that didn't need doing

Had my car booked for MOT, 2 new tyres and brake pads replacing. Arrived first thing and confirmed what was to be done, I was contacted late afternoon and told my car was ready for collection, but when on arrival I enquired as to why I was only being charged for the MOT it transpired there had been a misunderstanding by workshops and the other work hadn't been carried out.
No hint of an apology which was in line with the generally poor customer service had received anyway (ignored for several minutes both times before acknowledged I was even stood there in front of them, nor even offered a seat at any point)
Needless to say I won't be returning.

Over the last 20 years I have always found that they treat everyone with respect and try to help everyone to come to the right decision for them without pressure. Thank you Wilsons of Scunthorpe.
Excellent Service if a little bit on the expensive side. but the car was returned valeted and purrs so worth the expense, and friendly staff.
The staff were polite and helpful despite issues with my chosen vehicle. As of now I am still waiting for the vehicle to be repaired but I believe they are giving it the full attention
Customer service skills need to be addressed, making sure that cars are fully looked over snd serviced properly before sale
Just bought a used , nearly new car and found the experience extremely good. From initial contact, to the test drive and the final handover, it was very professional and Ryan, the sales guy was great. We found the car competitively priced and didn't do to bad on the PX. We found the personal intro video and follow up video a nice touch. Customer service seems very important and from our experience I cannot fault the whole process. The only very small issue was a chip on the bonnet got missed but they booked in immediately to get it sorted.
Excellent experience, would
Steve singer was professional from start to finish of the car purchase. He kept me informed at all times. The rest of the team seemed to have a good repor with each other helping steve who was the new boy with anything he wanted to know...nothing pushy about the sales experience was encountered.
I am absolutely appalled by the service I received from Wilson & Co Bolton. My experience has left me without a car and out of pocket by £8,000, with no resolution in sight.
I first viewed the car on June 22nd, and I was promised a fresh MOT, and a free reverse camera installation as part of the purchase. I completed the purchase on June 30th, only to find that none of these promises had been fulfilled. The reverse camera wasn't installed, and the MOT hadn't been done, despite assurances from the salesperson, Sam.
From that point on, my dealings with Wilson & Co were a nightmare of unreturned calls, ignored emails, and constant delays. I had to chase repeatedly for updates on the reverse camera installation, which was eventually booked for July 25th. On that date, the car failed its MOT, revealing several serious issues, including dangerous tyres and a faulty seatbelt, all of which should have been addressed before the car was sold to me.
I requested a full refund within the 30-day window of purchasing the car, but my request was met with more stalling tactics. Despite my repeated emails and phone calls to multiple staff members, including managers Lee and Mick, I received little to no response. On August 6th, I was promised by Lee that refund process would begin and that I would receive my refund within 24-48 hours but as of August 8th, I have yet to receive my money. I also asked Lee for written confirmation of the refund which he has failed to do.
Throughout this ordeal, the lack of communication and the dismissive attitude of the staff have been shocking. I’ve had to escalate the issue to the Motor Ombudsman and will probably have to go down the route of Small Claims Court, as Wilson & Co seems completely uninterested in resolving this situation.
I strongly advise anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from Wilson & Co to think twice. Their aftercare is non-existent, their promises are empty, and their customer service is appalling. I’m now left without a car and still waiting for my £8,000 refund. This is simply unacceptable.
went to attend pre booked appointment to collect vehicle id paid a deposit on last week .only to be told car is not ready having bumpers sprayed as they wer scuffed. didnt no when it would be available tried to palm me off with another car which i declined after waiting for a while and listen to there crap got deposit back and purchased a car from boc better sales staff very helpful and honest not like wilson vauxhall bolton lying and decietful .there policy sell aything to anyone regardless use wot ever means money no 1 absolute jokers unproffesional avoid at all costs worst car sales iv ever been to bought vauxhalls for over 30 yrs now got a bmwbye bye vauxhall wilsons have finished you/.

Please avoid using this dealership till they sort this issues out. They have a manager who I can’t name as they reported my last review as they support this conduct obviously. He’s been caught and sacked from multiple garages for signing customers documents finance documents I have reposted him to the lenders too. He’s also stole £1000s from a local car supermarket
