My wife has bought 4 or 5 cars from Wilsons in Bolton and I bought my last car there. The sales team have been great. Just cross your fingers and hope that you don't have a problem with the servicing side. My car came out scratched on 19th Jan and I've been chasing them ever since. "The person who reviews the videos doesn't work here and he's not visited for a while." It seems that he hasn't been back in almost 7 weeks, because that's how long I've been waiting.
I've spoke in person to the service manager who promised to update me...he didn't. All I get is apologies. Not one single time have they contacted me, except to urge me to give them 10/10 on their survey. I have to chase them and their phones are never answered. Worst customer service I've had from any company in years. If Vauxhall are happy with this level of service, it's the last Vauxhall I buy.
The experience at Wilson & Co Scunthorpe was fantastic because I was dealt with by jodie who did not put on the hard sell like some garages just helped me with any questions and let me make my own decision had follow up call after hand over to make sure the car was right me if I was to buy another car I would ask for jodie

I'd definitely recommend Wilson & Co Scunthorpe to friends and family because Matt was brilliant, his aftercare has been spot on. I have not been the easiest customer and he has still had a big smile for me every time I have walked through the dealership door. The care doesn't stop when they sell you a car, it stops when you are 100% happy.

What went wrong this time !! I'll tell you.
Bought a Kia Sportage gt-line which looked very nice initially and still dose.
On test the drive I said the electronic handbrake isn't working and there is annoying smudge marks behind the instrument panel, on the mph side.
On collection these points hadn't been rectified and was left to drive car home un-road worthy, and not presented with the clean interior I was expecting. Next day I found the car hadn't been properly cleaned so I cleaned interior as it should have been. The engine bay was filthy so cleaned that too. After a trip to London I noticed a rear wheel noise, thought it might be wheel bearings.
Booked car into Kia louth for handbrake sorting and noise from rear. Kia Drayton motors Confimed it was tyres mishaped.
Wilsons Grimsby changed rear tyres for budget tyres and not the kia recommended Continental tyres. I dropped car off to Drayton Louth for handbrake sorting which they did. Claire was amazing and put our mind at rest over these issues and the concern over tampered tipexed milage in service book which caused sleepless nights.
But all ok just a misprint.
So on fitting new electronic handbrake module Kia found an oil leak on auto gearbox, again they sorted under warranty. Can't thank Claire and the lads at Drayton motors enough for helping us on this.
The car should never have been sold in this condition. Both myself and the wife sent e-mails to Wilsons Grimsby and we've had no reply hence Trading standards is the next port of call as we are disgusted how this car has been presented to us . I expected a better service for a 21k used car.

I rang in and was instantly greeted by a really friendly and professional sales woman. Marta was really helpful and even sent a personalised video of the car for me to take a closer look. She booked me in for a test drive after 5pm as I had work and even stayed late to go through some finer details. Unfortunately I didn’t end up buying the car, but I would definitely rush to Marta at Vauxhall Wilso and Co Scunthorpe to buy a vehicle if something came up I was interested in. 10/10 highly recommend, such a lovely and helpful member of staff! Thank you for all your help Marta 😊

Avoid – Zero Aftersales - Shocking experience.
Agreed over the phone to purchase a 18mth old Corsa with 5,000 miles on the clock, as you would expect on a main dealer forecourt, described as immaculate….I was presented with a very wet exterior and a dirty interior, I then had to negotiate for a warranty because they didn’t inform me it had missed its 1st service, I drove off not very happy and then spent the afternoon carrying out my own valet…
Once properly cleaned, I discovered both headlights had very bad damage, both marked / chipped / scratched around the edges and one had a serve crack in the middle, of course I was straight on the phone…
The sale manager, David Clarkson, replied ‘it’s a used car, we are not interested’
The lights are £850.00 each, the dealer had clearly swopped the lights from another car and passed them onto me, thanks Wilson & Co !

Following a very unhappy experience with another local Vauxhall dealership where we ended up cancelling our order we contacted Wilson & Co at Scunthorpe regarding the purchase of a new Corsa. It was like a breath of fresh air dealing with such a pleasant and friendly dealership with no pressure to sign! Thanks to Gemma for restoring our confidence in Vauxhall as we had always been Ford fans before. The best part was the deal for the same car was over £50 a month cheaper.

Poor experience. From start to finish. With service manager called Shaun. Who lets cars out the workshop. That aren't fit for the road. With faulty egr valve and inlet. Plus injections. Not working right. And blaming the age of the car. And other people for his mistakes. As a manager. THE 3 PPP. Wee poor performance. And no respect for loyal customers. And embarrassing when they cant fix their own cars. Go to perrys group look after you better.
