The world around, the guides of Wilderness Travel are wonderful. Everything is well thought out and organized. After 5 trips, I have no complaints.

We have traveled with Wilderness Travel many times. We love traveling with them and the small groups of 12 or so guests. Have met and enjoyed these trips with wonderful groups of new friends, especially Iceland and their first Snow shoe trip. Also Greece. Unforgettable. We always try to go with Wilderness when we Travel. Well planned and organized. Interesting, exciting and fun. Our first choice ever time. The guides are the best.

In the past 10 years, I have taken more than a dozen Wilderness Travel trips and have loved every one of them. I continue to be impressed with the high quality of the trips. Excellent guides, interesting itineraries and great hotel and restaurant selections contribute to an overall wonderful travel experience.

The trip ratings and daily itineraries are helpful and allow choosing trips that work for me, typically moderate with a nice mix of hiking and culture. The office specialists for the various areas are also helpful in this respect. They are knowledgeable and courteous. It's always a pleasure to speak with them.

I like that WT offers a wide selection of tours, and I appreciate that WT continues to add new tours - expeditions - and sometimes brings back repertory trips. I have taken several expeditions which ran smoothly, a testament to the careful planning that goes into a new trip.

I have traveled with several other companies, but WT is my favorite. I'm looking forward to the WT trips that I have scheduled in 2019 and 2020.

We’ve travelled with other firms, but keep returning to WT and looking forward to our next adventure with them.

A small group tour where you get to know everyone and learn a lot about the country from the guide. The tours focus on the countryside or more extreme adventures and mostly ignore the usual big-name cities. The guides work hard to make the trip enjoyable for everyone, even when plans change due to weather or other local conditions.

We have taken Wilderness Travel excursions many times to very different destinations -- Iceland, Hawaii, the Galapagos, Alaska. Small boats and hiking trips. All have been meticulously organized and the trip leaders are great. We would recommend this travel company without reservation.

My wife and I have travelled numerous times with Wilderness Travel - Himalaya Trek/Nepal, Machu Picchu trek/Peru, Czech Republic, Austria, Patagonia/Argentina and Chile, Amalfi Coast, Dolomites, Tuscany, Greek Islands, South Africa, Sicily, Turkey - over the past years. We have also travelled with a number of other companies in the industry. We believe that the WT leaders are among the very best in the business and the WT back office support is superior to the others. We have never been disappointed with a WT trip and have often been astounded. WT trips have provided us with some of our fondest travel memories. We give WT our highest recommendation. And yes, we currently have a WT trip booked for later this year.

Wilderness is the best. They get everything right. Great destinations, interesting itineraries, first class guides, small group size, excellent accommodations. We have been on a number of trips and they have all been great.

We have been on approximately ten trips with Wilderness travel. Every trip has been pretty much perfect! They choose excellent guides, thoughtful itineraries, and have excellent pacing. Trips range from low-effort cultural awareness trips to incredibly challenging hikes to Everest base amp. Chose your favorite!
