This was my second tour with Wilderness and it outdid all my expectations.We had an amazing tour guide who taught us about every aspect of Costa Rica. He chose restaurants and hotels with personal care. Each lodge gave great service and hospitality and the food was terrific.

Incredible trips with a stellar company that pays attention to every detail. Knowledgeable local guides, great food and accommodations. Patagonia should be on everyone’s bucket list.

Our group has taken three hiking trips with Wilderness Travel. Each trip has been very different. Each of our leaders has had his or her own personality and strengths. Whenever we complete a trip we are ready to take another because of the commitment of the leaders and the support those leaders have from Wilderness. On behalf of all of our traveling group, my husband and I highly recommend this fine company, its owner and all of its employees.

My experiences with Wilderness have been uniformly positive - extremely capable guides, good itineraries, and excellent accommodations. I have traveled with other groups (and still do), but Wilderness is definitely my company of choice.

We have traveled with Wilderness to the Galapagos and Zambia. Both experiences were truly memorable. The guides and staff were outstanding, the food and lodging were perfect, and our fellow travelers were compatible. Our next Wilderness trip is to the Dolomites!

Every trip my wife and I have ever taken with Wilderness has been an experience we will treasure forever. In the middle of each Wilderhesss trip I always catch myself feeling like I am on an outing with old friends who are showing us around an area they are intimately familiar with.😏 For example on our most recent trip to Italy, we wanted to extend our stay with a visit to Venice. Hearing of this, our lead guide wanted to make sure we got the best train, so she accompanied us to the train station to purchase the tickets. Then the next day, she also accompanied us (and others) to the train station to make certain we all got on the proper trains. Now what company does that? If you haven't been on a Wilderness trip, you should definitely go. I feel like each trip has opened my eyes to something totally unique and new. Something I would not have expected nor certainly experienced any other way. My wife and I have made lasting friendships with both guides and patrons following these trips. Thanks to all the Wilderness guides for always making our experiences special.

We have traveled with Wilderness Travel three different times--Patagonia, Greek islands, and Tuscany...every experience has been superior: efficient, professional, kind, caring, informative, and so much more. Will travel again hopefully.

I think the people that are the leaders for the trips have been great and knowledgeable. I would have liked to have more opportunity to take photos when we saw some wildlife(we were on the bus and we could have stopped).The food was always good with one exception. We loved the hikes, and they were not always easy, which we liked the exercise and challenge.

I have traveled with Wilderness Travel on 2 incredible trips in the past. The most recent was their Botswana Wildlife Safari and everything about it was incredible!

this will be our third trip with them-that says it all. Great trips, outstanding boots on the ground, personal, efficient support from home office, highly knowledgable. Actually plan my vacations around their offerings!!

We have traveled with Wilderness Travel several times and every trip has been so special. ALWAYS knowledgeable great guides, consideration for the country/place we are visiting, and the right balance of culture and outdoors. Perfectly suits our style of travel. I would go anywhere with them.

We have gone on 3 very diverse trips with Wilderness travel - a safari, hiking in Patagonia and a cruise to Antarctica via Polar Latitudes. Each was a great experience from the pick up at the airport to the drop off at the very end. All the leaders were experienced, personable, and knowledgeable in their fields. We were treated with courtesy and kindness. Travel was punctual, and we always knew what to expect. The trip planning was easy and the personnel responsive to our emails, texts and phone calls.

The guides are knowledgeable, helpful, and experts in the history and customs of each place. I have found the guide truly "makes" the trip by introducing such a first hand depth of immersion into the city or country. A true appreciation makes each trip not only an adventure, but also a lifelong remembrance of the local people we have met.
