The food itself is wonderful, from the pies to the venison wellington. The flavours in the pie were delicious and complimentary. The pasty light and firm, yet the content moist and succulent.

The whole order arrived promptly in a solid, well-insulated box and was well chilled with lots of ice packs. Unlike some other 'whole meal' providers where the small ice pack melts during transit, all of the ice packs had frozen content; thus ensuring the safety of the food itself.

Unfortunately my delivery was delayed, just received, and as a result the Partridge Breasts and Sausages have started to de-frost quite significantly, hopefully they are still okay to put in the freezer?

My Venison Arrived Frozen and well Packaged We have enjoyed many meals of shepherds pie and Lasagna and My Cat Loved the Biodegradable Wool Packaging which has now turned into his favourite bed

Excellent products. Great delivery but a bit too keen! Came earlier than nominated delivery day. Luckily I was in or it would have been an issue as work very long hours. They were however responsive and apologetic when I let them know.

Had a lovely Sunday Roast- Pheasant with roast potatoes and veg.
Have had Muntjac, 3 Bird roast and more. Beats going out to taste mundane offerings from most Pubs/ Restaurants.
Not keen on The Mallard though.

I've been using Wild and Game for some time now, they have replaced my previous game provider due to the superior range of options - their pies, sausage rolls and ready meals are just fantastic!

The taste and texture of this generous pastry took me back to my 1970s childhood. I would happily eat a chunk of the pastry case on its own with hot gravy and a pile of cabbage alongside. I've given four stars only because the meat, in the steak, pheasant and ale pie, though plentiful and tender, was a tad overcooked. A touch of carrot and onion would have helped things along.
