We ordered a soft play set for our baby’s 1st birthday which arrived with a manufacturing fault. I messaged the company upon receipt as my husband noticed when we opened it to check it out, that there was a problem with the Velcro’s on the set. A week down the line of receiving it, despite the replacement cover being sent on “express delivery”, it has not arrived and meant that I could not use it on the day, as it would have been unsafe. I understand these things can happen, but I don’t want someone else to have a similar stressful experience (especially if buying as a birthday / Christmas present). As the items are shipped in, it is not a case of the item being received instantly if there is any problems. I should have checked this beforehand or read other reviews. The owners have said I can send it all back for a refund, but I have used one of the items so not really an option. Now to wait and see if the actual replacement cover arrives. The product itself looks of okay quality and I’m sure it will be fine once the correct cover arrives, but it does smell a bit weird potentially from the packaging or it needs to be aired out.

Excellent customer service. Despite hitting a challenge with our order, Ashleigh was fantastic in getting it resolved. Prompt, accurate communication and a genuine interest and desire to resolve. Quality of the product is also excellent.

Ordered a play sofa in a lovely neutral colour (unlike other alternatives available at other sellers). The sofa itself is super, well made and just what I was looking for. The material is like a fine chenille and very soft. It was packaged really neatly and delivered within expected timescales. Overall very pleased with my purchase and would recommend to others.

I placed an order for indoor soft play set and a personalised toddler chair.

All customers should be made aware prior to placing orders the long lead times for receiving goods. This is due to the fact that all the items are imported and not manufactured here in the UK as it may appear.

Not all of the items are manufactured in the same country either, so expect to receive more than one delivery depending on your items ordered.

Customer service was bad, the automated response has spelling mistakes and you will not receive a reply in the designated time frame as promised. It will also take more than one email chasing Ashleigh to receive a reply.

I received a few excuses and promises of replacement products but did not receive my full order.

We have now agreed on a refund for the part order, which they took the liberty of taking a small fee off the total price.

Disappointed with the quality of the soft play which unfortunately arrived dirty but Ashleigh was quick to resolve any issues - thank you!

Amazing company. My daughters soft play pastel colour came today the quality is fantastic. My daughter is one and absolutely loves it, my 5 year old does too! Brilliant customer service from start to finish, went above and beyond to help any queries I had. Fantastic!

Perfect for my daughters first birthday. Amazing service from start to finish. I left it quite late to order and wasn’t sure if the set would arrive on time. It actually arrived early, I was kept up to date with tracking and the actual step and slide is amazing quality and the pastel colour is just adorable. The set will be used for many years to come and I would 100% recommend Whittlebird to anyone looking for a soft play set. Thank you so much x

Went and picked up my order today as I lived so close and wow I'm in shock how quick and easy it was had the parcels in less than 24 hrs the owner and her mother in law are really nice and polite. The quality of the products are amazing. The blocks are firm but soft and the soft play covers can be taken off which i dont know why, i didnt think they would be so very easy to wipe and clean no matter what mishaps happen also my kids are (1 year old and 3 year old) both love the step and slide and castle blocks so so much definatly money we'll spent! Hope my review helps and if you do purchase hope you enjoy the kids faces as much as I did mine.

This is my second purchase from whittlebird UK. Both times the delivery of my items have been tracked which has been included in the purchase price. The first time was during the pandemic in 2021 and the second purchase was during the Royal Mail (and other delivery company) strikes. The communication each time was brilliant. Fast delivery despite external issues. The products arrived both times in perfect condition and well packed. 100% recommend- please do support this small business!

I ordered a play sofa for my son as his main Christmas present. Despite postal strikes/delays it arrive in time for Christmas and it is so nice. Quality is excellent and my little boy loves it.
