What a treasure trove the Whibley's Horsham store is. I visited Christmas Eve and received amazing service as well as leaving with the perfect chain as a gift. The gentleman who served me was polite, patient and knowledgeable even though my budget was quite small - Thank You.

Having been turned away from another Guildford Jeweller’s saying nothing could be done, my family and I were welcomed into the store, offered a seat and a listening, sympathetic ear.

So friendly and warm in comparison, definitely felt in trusted hands. Two weeks later, my necklace is repaired and I will be recommending this jewellers, Lawrence and all who work within it to anyone in need.

It’s like stepping into Harry Potter’s Ollivanders! Even if you need nothing, worth going in to meet these craftspeople who clearly have gold, silver and platinum running through their veins, a lifetime of experience but the most humble and modest of demeanours.

This is my own, genuine experience and I’m glad I walked to the bottom of the cobbled high street and stumbled upon your door! Thank you!

Outstanding customer service. John and the whole team ended up helping me make choice with my watch and at no point did I feel any pressure. They even happily moved stock from Worthing to Guildford just so I could make a good choice. Definitely recommend this jewellers.

My fiancé had a great experience shopping for my engagement ring at the Guildford store. The staff were very helpful and informative.

We went back to get my ring resized and we were helped by Lawrence. Lawrence was very friendly and took the time to help me try on wedding bands to find ones that suit my engagement ring. Nothing was too much trouble.

I recently purchased an engagement ring from the Guildford store. What I liked about Whibleys:

a. They let the ring speak for itself. They didn't try to upsell me, or tell me unnecessary facts about the ring. I had been getting quite frustrated by sales people at chain stores, who would try to upsell, and tell me about diamond certification in an attempt to make the ring more appealing (spoiler alert: it doesn't). It was a beautiful diamond, and they knew that's more important than the facts that go with it.

b. It was very well-priced compared to what I'd seen at chain stores. Not 'cheap', but I got a much better ring here than anything I saw at the same price point elsewhere.

c. Customer service. As well as the aforementioned, on the day I bought it, they reserved it for a few hours while I made up my mind, with no commitment to buy. They also resized it smaller for free with a quick turnaround, and were generally lovely on each visit, which makes a big difference.

I went in needing a replacement Tissot watch strap and came out with the strap, some beautiful cuff links and a dress ring for my wife's birthday. All the staff at Whibleys were knowledgable, considerate and patient and I was impressed how everything was presented when I collected it. A great experience, thank you.

My wife and I recently purchased a diamond ring from Whibleys in Worthing. The service we received was once again first class. This is why we have returned there so many times over the years to buy jewellery.

Very disappointed. Went into Guildford shop to purchase set of earrings for an anniversary present. Only to be told the price as shown in the window was wrong and they withdrew the item for sale.

Having used Whibleys Guildford in the past, unlikely we will be using them in the future.

Whibleys quickly fixed a faulty watch clasp, even though the watch wasn't purchased there originally. I'm extremely grateful to the trustworthy team for their expertise and professionalism. I've used them previously for repairs and will continue to do so - many thanks!

Lovely service at Whibleys Guildford as always. We bought my engagement ring from them last year and they were wonderful (and very patient whilst I tried on half their stock!) and I popped in today with a large silver ring as it had been discolored by chlorine and they managed to get it back to how it was for me and wouldn't take any payment when I offered. Will always use them and continue to recommend them.

Unfortunately not a good experience with the Horsham and Worthing branches. My engagement ring had some repairs to the diamond setting last year by Whibleys and 12 months later has broken again and the diamond lost. I took the ring back to the Horsham branch for an estimate of repairs. The ring was sent to the Worthing branch and whilst I now have the ring back, some 6 weeks later I’m still waiting for a written estimate. I have contacted the branch on numerous occasions but I’m still waiting and just given excuses. I have found the staff to be rude and unhelpful. I have had the ring assessed elsewhere and the opinion of the work carried out by Whibleys last year is that is was not satisfactory which has resulted in a lost diamond. Still waiting to hear from you Whibleys if you read these reviews!

Needed to replace my watch which I have had for 30 years and wanted a similar style. I walked in to Whibleys of Guildford and was greeted by Roger a charming well presented gentleman who found me 4-5 choices. Whilst I was wondering which one I liked he explained all the relevant details including eco drive which powers your watch by light not battery!

My wife and I went to Wibleys in Worthing to get engagement rings and resize our weddings rings (a year after we got married!).

We were given really good advice on which stones are most suitable for everyday use. When we returned to put down a deposit we were looked after by Evelyn - she was brilliant. One of the rings we picked could be re-sized but one she recommended we get made new. When the re-sized one came back it was not to Whibleys standards. Evelyn got it made again and didn't charge us any extra. She was really knowledgeable and friendly and it was a pleasure dealing with her. The re-sized weddings rings were also done really well and look fantastic. I would highly recommend Whibleys in Worthing and Evelyn especially!

Have visited Whibleys on two consecutive days at their Worthing branch. Gabby (Gabriella), on both occasions, was very personable, informative and professional. We came away satisfied and happy with several items purchased. It was a very relaxing and ambient atmosphere within the shop, and will go back happily in the future. Thank you!

My husband bought me an emerald ring which needed re-sizing. It was a pretty special present and the staff at Whibleys in Guildford made it a lovely experience, being friendly and kind when, the first time I visited, I presented them with an empty ring case (oops!). They are obviously a great team of interested and interesting people who seem to work very well together and I wouldn't hesitate to go back. Great service and lovely jewelry too!

We were looking for a necklace for my daughter's prom/16th birthday. There was a such a huge range of really classic jewellery to choose from. We received warm, kind service from the team at Whibleys Guildford - they were as delighted as we were when we found the perfect necklace! A wonderful experience!

Excellent service! I used Whibleys in Horsham for my wedding rings and some other items and the customer service is outstanding, I would highly recommend!

I popped into the Guildford Whibleys to get my ring cleaned and was served by Lawrence. He was really professional and offered an excellent service, he also measured my ring size on a different finger under no obligation. Overall a really helpful visit.
