The heather absolutely does not warm up the room. After 2-3 hours the room was still cold.
Do not waste your money you will regret it.

Very bad online shopping. I didn't receive the order for a month, and there was no information until I complained to PayPal. The item was not as good as described in the advertisement. Its quality is very poor. When the machine starts working, it will emit a very bad smell of burnt glue, which will make you uncomfortable and dizzy. Moreover, its heat coverage area is very small, which is not what is described in the well heater advertisement. Very disappointed.

“Wellheater” is a well-organised company scamming people trying to save on their energy costs through false advertising. The products are cheap, Chinese-made junk that arrive after multiple weeks of waiting in a crushed box. So disappointed, I hope this review helps someone before the same happens to them. Zero stars.

This company is a complete scam from the ordering process to returns. I was falsely tricked into buying three through the constant funnel process. I accidentally ordered more but when I immediately contacted the company they declined to adjust the order, saying the heaters had been packed.
Then it took weeks for one heater to arrive. The other two never did and a 25% refund was offered. Very annoying and a total scam. The heaters are hopeless to boot.

Be aware if in Australia it comes with European plug and they provide an Australian adapter which looks ugly and doesn’t sit in the plug/wall properly. I was fooled by the advertising of Australian designers but definitely not Australian. Sent them back and had to pay for return postage.

A rubbish company who refused to refund as they advised. I requested refund 2 mins after I placed the order and got response that the warehouse already packed the item.LOL! Anyway, after receiving the product, it was nothing like they advertised, I requested refund, they don’t respond!

Took almost 2months & 3 replies for it to be received. Didnt even heat up my room, after leaving it running for 9hrs straight. 32 was the highest it went. I wanted to use the well heater to save on expenses & also cost more than they had advertised. I went back to my oil burning heater which I knew would heat my whole room in 20mins but uses alot of power if left on all night. Worst invest I had ever made. Scammed, Lied...so they could line their pockets. They should refund all & get fined or jailed for something I call a crime!

Ohhhh I wish I'd read all the reviews. My experience is exactly the same. EU wall connection, and when you plug in the AU connection, the weight of the heater makes it hang from the wall and unsafe. No Australian standards mentioned anywhere. No thermostat or safety cut off value when the temp (supposedly) reaches the temp set. Was so excited for these heaters, but defintely cheap rubbish made overseas, and a fire hazard I believe. I'm trying to get a refund, but got a few emails asking for me to do a survey first, then asking for more info etc etc (which is all shown on the order), but now all info provided, I'm not hearing back from them.
My advice is DON'T BUY! If it seems to good to be true, then it probably IS ! :-(

SCAM:
Charged me three times, refused to refund, said it had been ‘packed and sent’ about 20 minutes after order, told me to wait to try before I sent it back. it arrived; tiny, overheating, and barely doing a thing, now they refuse to respond when I ask to again refund all 3 instead of just the 1 I ordered.

Also they don’t ask for confirmation of payment; they just take the money.

DO NOT PURCHASE!!!

Not only did the heaters come late but it doesn’t even heat up my 1x3 ensuite let alone what is advertised.
Ordered 3 heaters tried 2 of them didn’t bother to open the third one.
Customer service is terrible, just send automated responses.
Telling me that return of items is at my cost & must be unopened unused (how would I know the product is so POOR??)
Must be returned within 30 days but they closed my first inquiry (I had to follow up & re send my complaint)
Have filed complaint with fair trading (false advertising) & ACCC (goes against consumer laws) to get FULL refund & return at consumers expense.
I’m also going to send an email to ACA I would advise others to do the same.
This company is dodgey and very scammy.

I ordered 2 WellHeaters, they sent 2 Handy Heaters Turbo. The Handy Heaters Turbo did not work and the remotes did not work. I am asking a refund, but they want to give back 25% with an option to keep the heaters. I did not agree. They charged me to ship the heaters to me and no they are charging me the return charges.
They are a scam. Please do not buy theses heaters. They are coming from a different company. The plug is of 220 volts, Indian style.

This heater is the worst item I have ever purchased , they promise a lot and it delivers very little heat, do not waste your money$$$

I thought I’d give this heater a go as if I lost $60 it wasn’t the end of the world. And the link the “Australian” company sent with reviews sounded good. I wasn’t expecting a great deal, but thought it would at least warm a small ensuite bathroom. I couldn’t have been more wrong.
Firstly, when it arrived it had a European plug, and a seperate plug was provided to plug into that to make it fit an Australian socket. This made the unit sit about 3-4 inches out from the wall. But the weight of the unit, which was not very much would cause the plugs to seperate slightly to then cut power. Once propped up from the bottom with a jar of cream it would keep working. I gave it a good test run, 1 hour, and it was useless as tits on a bull. So I started the return process straight away. After a few emails back and forth offering 25% then 50% and finally 75% to keep it, I got the details to return for a full refund. I had to pay return post of $15, provided them with a tracking number. I did get my full refund a few days after it was received by them. There are several “companies” on line now with the exact same heater, not just “well heater” brand. Which by the way, was not at all on the packaging. Stay away from all of them.

How do we report them??? Its a scam. Doesn't fit AUS outlets and dont offer refunds unless you send to France.

Stupid of me to not check the reviews first. Do not purchase. Initial issues with receiving a refund. No surprise here. While we received the x 3 heaters they did not perform as advised. The refund process initially produced a "scam" response. I did eventually receive a refund of 70% of what I paid. The communication process with the support team was frustrating and inconsistent. Happy to receive the partial refund, without having to return the heaters. A huge lesson learnt. Feeling stupid for purchasing in the first place.

HANDY HEATER: Turbo 800: This "heater" is sold under various names on YouTube. It is produced in CHINA, despite the advertising b/s.

1/ Currently available today (15/7/25) from ALIEXPRESS online for: Au $ 10.69, (x 5 = 53.5 AUD) Yet I paid AU.$256+ for 5? How silly am I? 2/ Product heats a very small area. 3/ When set at 32 celsius the soft breeze generated by the (computer?) fan inside the unit only, WARMTH can be felt on hand @ 12 inches @ (300 mm.) to 18 inches (450 mm) and no more.
4/ Better off burning a candle?
5/ Slow delivery, order placed/paid and not received until @ one month later, despite several emails to/fro.
6/ Site says 5-9 days delivery.
7/ No tracking info. for @ 3 weeks, despite the advertising.
8/ Packaging was damaged, 5 units packed into a plastic mail bag with some bubble wrap would always arrive damaged. The heater as supplied has a 2 pin European plug built into the back of it, there is an Australian 3 pin adaptor supplied, BUT, that leaves the front of the heater 6 inches (150 mm) from the wall, til it gets bumped / falls / disconnects from plug. I doubt that would pass Australian Appliance Standards.

Absolutely cannot recommend this heater at ANY PRICE.

The heater does not even heat a 3x3 metre room in cold weather in Tasmania yes it cheap to run but doest heat the room useless heater

DO NOT PURCHASE THROUGH THIS COMPANY!!!! They have ZERO form of customer service. I purchased 2 heaters from them, received 4 and was charged for 4. I have contacted the company numerous times asking for a full refund and that I will return the heaters and they then ask me to complete a survey, because I decline (thinking that I should not have to provide any survey until I have received my refund and returned the goods) they then close my case and I have to start again. I have contacted them 4 times and gotten absolutely no where.
So please do not make the extremely costly mistake that I have made. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY PLEASE! The heaters are useless and are not as advertised at all, PLUS, they send you more than you ordered and charge you for them too. Truly appalling customer service. THE WORST COMPANY THAT I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!
