weflip gets you cheaper energy bills forever. We’ll automatically switch you to a new supplier when we find a cheaper energy deal. And you don’t have to pay us a flipping penny.

Useless stay away not worth the hassle as they only move you to benefit them and not the consumer. They moved me with an exit fee of £60 and the deal wasn’t better. Then the new provider kept moving up my direct debit automatically. Stay clear they make more money when they move you, hence why the offer switches as much as they can.

Meh. It all started with no Amazon voucher. I shouldn't have been surprised. Then, we flipped a few times, the last one was a doozie, we were advised not to flip and stick with a new supplier after our old one collapsed. The new supplier is Utilita and wow are they terrible. Utilita's service is not really the fault of WeFlip but we're on a high tariff, which I would've expected a flip suggestion by now. Now we can't flip because Utilita have been billing us incorrectly, to the tune of £2,000! I can't say I feel ripped-off but I don't feel we've been well looked after by WeFlip either. The lack of ability to login and view/manage your account feels wrong as well. That level of transparency is a "must" when dealing with tariffs, billing and a service that switches providers. Customers want to know where they've been without having to call in! The whole point is not to be at the mercy of the market because WeFlip has it covered. 2 stars because our other flips were OK but this last one has kind of killed it for us.

Do not trust this company. They claim to provide a free service but all they are interested in is the commission they pick up from sub standard suppliers. No customer care. They will advise they are not responsible for the issues that arise but are still happy to pick up the commission regardless. Complete waste of time and more hassle than its worth. You have been warned!!!!!
The only reason I picked 1 star is because it couldn't go any lower.

WeFlip switched family members over to a company that wouldn't reply to emails, overcharged by £300 and then went into administration. Before that company went into administration, WeFlip moved them to another provider, with which staff at the company sent passwords via plain text to family. This is highly dangerous as their emails aren't even encrypted. It appears they actually save their passwords as plain text too, which is very dangerous practices especially given the GDPR.
On top of that, WeFlip keeps sending switching notices even after just switching. It appears this is a glitch.
Altogether, it appears WeFlip is at the hands of the market rather than helping to define it and actually checking if companies are legitimate and customers will be safe.
Additionally, the phone line is apparently open til 8pm and callers are told they're first in the call, however after looking at other customers complaints here, it seems that they're not even open at all despite what their website says.

Hi.. well I have flipped a few times already and I’ve never received an amazon voucher ! I also find it really annoying that use an 0800 number which costs me to use.. so I think I’ll be giving them the elbow and use a “compare “ site

WeFlip responded to this review by stating their office closed at 6.00 pm. So:
(1) Why does their website state their phones lines are open to 8.00 pm?
(2) Why did I sit listening to a recorded message for over a hour advising me I was next in the queue?
Just basic shortcomings that demonstrate they are totally inefficient.

Wouldn't trust them to flip burgers let alone energy suppliers.
In the time I was with them they flipped me to a suppler that almost immediately went out of business; then to one that was at the bottom 'Which' ratings. The last one was the worst of all. Said they'd take both gas and electricity. Then there was a problem with the gas transfer. Weflip were behind the pace all the time. Eventually (after a lot of emails) I sorted it all out myself. Weflip were slow to respond to emails and not even bothering to reply to at least one - appalling customer service . There was a problem with emails they initiated - I just wasn't receiving them. I suggested they delete my email address and re-input it. They said they couldn't change an email address once it was in the system. When I asked how they would cope if I changed my email address, that was a question that was never answered.
Hopeless - don't use them. Cost me a lot of time and money. Walked away from them. NOT RECOMMENDED.
(Lets see if we get a patronising response from them)

Rip off services,
Please do not use them.
You will be losing money instead of saving. Poor services.
I lost around £80 because of their failed so called 'flip services' and since last year they are not able to refund my hard earned money.
The excuse given was the energy company gone busted, well you are the one who selected that company for us. You initiated switch which never happened, resulting my loss.
Im considering to take this matter to ombudsman soon.

I am very disappointed I like other people have been switched too soon and have now been stung with a £60 surcharge from Eon which means I have a bill of £222 to pay. This is not fare to any consumer and I want removing immediately from weflip as I do not want scamming in to this cost again.

They did not flip! I contacted them 3 weeks agos, they said they would sort. Haven't heard since!!

I used these last June. They moved me to E-On weeks too early and I got hit with penalty charges. It actually cost me MORE so I asked to be removed from their records.
Today I found out they have moved me AGAIN to a company I never heard of. No emails, no notification. Turns out that rather then remove me, they continued with their continuous authority switching. Once again, i got substantial penalty charges and just after winter is a STUPID time to change supplier.
Yes I got an email to say I have been moved - but as I have never heard of the company i thought it was a scam. I NEVER heard from WeFlip
Once you sign up, you have no account to log into to check status, cancel etc. The company they moved me to said they are dealing with dozens of Erroneous Transfer complaints from WeFlip.
I have complained to Go Compare (their parent company), my MP and even sent the details to Martin Lewis.
These have to be shut down. They scammed me, so there are a lot more vulnerable people than me.
It is their business model to move you without knowing...

My bills for gas and electricity (per month) are now £26 - dual tariff with EON.
Before i was spending SSE gas £26 AND economy energy £35. It's saving me £35x12 = 420 a year!
Moving forward i won't have to fill in a load of forms - it's 'carte blanche'. What a great idea. I love this company so far.
The only bad point is no account or login on the weflip web site. I find this part a bit annoying - it makes me feel there's lack of transparency or control!

Absolutely horrendous service from start to finish!! Avoid this company at all costs. They couldn’t organize a p1ss up in a brewery! My advice to anyone contemplating using this service to think again, as they have no idea what they are doing. Been billed by two companies after a switch and apparently they can’t speak to the suppliers on my behalf! Awful Awful company!!!!!

I wish there was a negative star!
Please avoid this company. They are legit but my monthly energy
bills have sky rocketed from £100 when with British Gas to £300 with whatever supplier they flip me too. I had had enough so I left the service but they failed to process my cancellation request in time and flipped me to another provider. There is always overlap between suppliers you so end up having to pay two bills every month.
The supplier I'm with now via WeFlip is in the process if flipping me back but the process will take 4-6 weeks during which time I will probaby be billed again.
Nice idea but flawed. Just do it yourself.

FURTHER TO MY PREVIOUS FEEDBACK AND THE REPLY RECEIVED FROM WEFLIP:-
Having declined their suggestion to move from ScottishPower to TONIK I received 2 e mails on 29th January telling me THEY HAD CANCELLED MY SWITCH. If, as they stated in their reply, they had no contact from me - why would they tell me they had cancelled the switch?
They obviously did get my e mails.
They obviously still did the switch.
Having received many e mails from TONIK concerning ‘my new account’ I telephoned WEFLIP who told me they would not send me any more suggested ‘switches’ and it would take 4 weeks to remove my details from their system.
As stated before the switch happened on 19th February and I was charged twice for my energy supply.
WEFLIP also stated in their reply that they’d e mailed me today -
NO E MAIL!!

If I could give this company minus 5 I would do. I have been moved backwards and forwards between electricity company's so many times I have lost count. Just recently I am being charged by 2 electricity company's (2 accounts in one of them). So I am having 3 charges per month and weflip has not answered my emails for weeks. I would warn anyone to stay away from this company

Don't Use Weflip
The first supplier they flipped me to (Toto) took 2 months payments in advance and then promptly went into administration.
I received confirmation in Dec that i was with EDF and that the tariff would remain the same until late 2020. Approx £50/ month, Weflip decided that i would save the minimum of £50.00 with Together energy and approximately £75./mouth, i neither agreed or confirmed the transfer. But the transfer whet ahead. this transfer made me look at the tariffs closer
The new tariff with together energy has a £30.00 exit and has greater unit costs. HOW is this a saving.
I looked at compare.co.uk and within 2 min had better tariffs, Therefore what are the "Energy Team looking at"
To add insult to injury TOTO replacement EDF have yet to calculate the balance or made any repays yet.
So far I’m well out of pocket, have spent more time than ever on trying to find out what’s happening with my bill and greatly regret signing up to weflip.
I will be opting out of weflip as they are not saving me the working of maintaining my energy usage. Unless there is a benefit to them
The Sarge Continues

I made an enquiry through weflip to switch energy suppliers and was given a switch which I decided to decline. I received an email on the 18th December from weflip stating the switch HAD been cancelled but it went ahead anyway, against my wishes. I am now with a company that doesn’t answer emails and I can’t get through to on the phone and weflip aren’t much better in retuning contact!
