Be very careful !!!

Be very careful !!!
I entered my details on this platforms,in minutes Lee called me,not introducing himself ,just asking about the car and my postcode, told him I am on my way to We Buy Any Car and he was desperate to stay and wait for his driver.
I said I will wait then few hours later he callme to let me know his driver is there at 3:30.
His driver got at the address and I was surprised to see him with his truck ready for collection.
We went to see the car,he only took three pictures to send it to his boss then put his boss over the phone. He asked me how much I want ,we agreed on a price and his driver gave me a paperwork to fill it out saying the money will be in my account in 5 days.
I refused giving my car away without immediately receiving payment and that’s why the things got worse.
His boss tried to convince me to give my car away but I told him until I get a confirmation, the car is not going anywhere.
When I told him that the car is on finance and he needs to make the transaction to them ,things got complicated. He send to his driver confirming of payment but when I called the finance company they couldn’t confirm, one hour later, three phone calls to the finance company and the money weren’t transferred.
The driver put me on phone with this man,his boss, and he started telling me off and shouting at me why I didn’t tell him on the phone that the car is on finance, the driver then started to say same, then he was keep shouting at me that this is not
my car, this is the finance company car and I should not claim it as mine,I didn’t put up with his rubbish and rudeness,I was already questioning everything, things were getting suspicious so just put the phone down to him and his driver run away immediately, not even a goodbye,he couldn’t wait to disappear.
After he left I called again the finance company and no money we’re transferred!!!
Be careful!!!
Do not give your car away until you have payment confirmation!!
How they can be left by the authorities to get people scammed this way!!!

if i could give zero stars believe me i would!

this company is a complete scam. we recently lost my partner and had just taken a car out on finance 3 weeks before. we were advised by the company to sell the car to clear the finance. my mother in law thought this company was we buy any car until we looked at the contract we signed and turns out this was not the case. this company prayed on two vulnerable women knowing the situation we was in

everything seemed to go too smoothly until we spoke to the finance company that they had not paid their amount. luckily i found my partners car on auto-trader for 3k more than what we sold it to the guy originally. luckily we had not signed over the V5C document as we was still waiting for it to arrive.

we tried to contact this company many times, they turned their phones off for days at a time and all emails bounced back from the email address they gave us.

we turned up at the garage with all supporting documents who did work with us but made us aware this company sell them a lot of cars (atherstone garage) so if you have been messed around please go to auto trader and see if you car is there.

Do not ever use this company

Do not ever use this company. They are scammers. They took my car and gave me a quote with a civil contract and they tried to say something was wrong with the car and it wasn’t. They are dishonest and do not pay out. I had to call the police. They are now holding my car 5 hours away and wanting to charge me for parking and holding it. They are abusing vulnerable women. Be careful. Stay away from this copy cat company.

Be very wary of this company

I would not have use this company if I had taken the time to realise it WAS’NT we buy any car. I googled car sales looking for we buy any car and this car company came up . It was all very quick after putting my details on the page , arrange for the car to be looked at on the Monday . A very nice chap came and the price was agreed. I need a car so I said come and pick it up on Wednesday. This was done and I had a contractor that said I would be paid in 3 to 5 working days . On the Saturday I went away on holiday for10 days so that would give them plenty of time to pay me. I came back and found that I hadn’t been paid , it’s now 15 days they have had my car . I phoned several times with only an answering machine, I left messages each time but no one got back to me .
I eventually got Lee to answer , he said he had lost the paperwork and would I scan a copy of the contract to him, this I did . Lee said he would pay me next day , this didn’t happen. I contacted trading standards to find out my rights . I was advised to send him a registered letter informing him that I had been to Trading standards. I Continued to phone with no luck only answering machine. Eventually on the Friday afternoon I got him , he said can I pay you on Monday at 17:00 , I agreed , Monday 17:00 no payment, rang him , he said 21:00 tonight, again it didn’t happen.
Next morning Tuesday I decided I wouldn’t do anything as I was getting fed up with whole issue , THEN, out of the blue Tuesday afternoon at14:15 Lee rang to say the money was in my bank , I checked straight away and it was.
He gave me a load of sob stories about his troubles and his cash flow. I must say Lee at no time was he rude to me or aggressive. His trouble is he tells you things that he can not do or doesn’t carry out . He had my car for 23 days before getting payed . I did think that I had lost the money to a scammer . I obviously won’t be using this system for selling a car again.

D C Hall

My husband gets a bit confused so when he sold his car to We buy any motor I was surprised. Unfortunately he thought it was we buy any car dot com and didn’t realise until I looked at the paperwork a few days later. After reading some of the reviews I was worried but after speaking to Lee he put my mind at rest. Lee answered all of my queries and concerns and keep me in the loop as there were a couple of details that needed attending to regarding our car but once these were resolved we got our money. As I have already said Lee keep in touch and kept me up to date. Payment on the contract says 3 to 5 days, we were paid on day 6 but because Lee had been up front with me there wasn’t a problem.

Be warned

They will offer you a good price for your non running car, turn up and the driver will put you in contact with Lee/Leigh on the phone. There is no Lee. Lee is an assumed name used by the company director to hide his real name. The Director of the company has been convicted for not paying people for their cars, amongst other things. The driver will play good cop to gain your confidence and try to take your car without upfront payment.

Stressful experience beware!!!

After having the stress of my cars engine failing we went with we buy any motor as they gave the best price for a non runner, they came quickly the next day , the chap collecting the vehicle was nice and friendly , started the car and passed me over to Lee who dropped the price even though I told him it needed a new engine but still the best price , filled in the paperwork and said payment will be in 3-5 days which made me a bit hesitant but the driver reassured me and even let me take a picture of his license and vehicle so I felt happy it was legit. After a few days I did start to feel a bit concerned that my car had been took away with no payment and the next day there mechanic rang saying it’s not worth the agreed price and knocked me down more . I excepted as I just wanted wash my hands with the car as it was just causing me stress and was still an ok price, after another 2 days I stumbled on these reviews that made me really panic so me and my wife rang Lee who was polite on the phone and told us it will be in our account on the 5th day . On the 5th day still no payment so we had to text Lee and threaten that we will take action if no payment is received and after struggling to get any response Lee rang us and seemed to have 2 personalties sometimes nice and sometimes a bit obnoxious saying have you not got proof of payment over email ( even though no email was asked for ) but to be fair to him he did respond and did ring us which kept us at ease as we were looking at taking legal action as we now went into the 6th day with no payment, after another couple of threats over text all of a sudden payment went in and he rang us saying he was always going to pay. Reading the reviews of people who haven’t been paid you can imagine why this felt even more stress full. To be fair to Lee he did acknowledge he made a breech of contract by going past the 5th day but police wouldn’t entertain us as it would be a civil matter which he was correct. I just think you need to be honest and not say payment has been made as we all know a bank transfer only takes a few seconds on a working week day. I think next time I would definitely do my homework as I went with the higher price but ended up with a price I could have got more locally with no stress at all .

Personally it wasn’t worth using we buy any motor .com in the end and I was lucky to get payment .

Do your research. Research if this person has any previous convictions related to motor trade, or if he places a car for sale while finance still attached and causes stress to owner by delaying payment. Do your research.

Avoid We Buy Any Motor Car

This should say no stars . This is the worst rogue seller I have ever met Leigh Guiseppe Randino is the so called owner of WE BUY ANY MOTOR CAR. He is a liar an uncouth character and rude. He took my sisters car saying he would pay in 24hrs and he never paid. 2 weeks later we were paid by the garage he took it to the day he took it from us. We involved Solicitors,Police and the Law Society all advised that he should not have given the car to a garage until he had legally bought it especially as the car was still under finance by my sister. He will tell you every phone call that he is waiting for the payment to clear but you will not get paid. He has already been fined for this crime and given a suspended sentence. He is a thief do not believe a word he says he will steal your car. This horrible rogue caused us a great deal of stress and I believe the only reason we eventually got our money was due to the fact that on Police advice we travelled to the garage in Coventry where the rogue took our car.
